Thirty Million Chinese Locked Down in Last Gasp of Zero-Covid Policy

Thirty million people in 13 cities across China have been put back into a COVID-19 lockdown with hazmat-wearing officials back on the streets on a scale not seen since the pandemic began in yet more evidence that the country’s Zero-Covid strategy is a complete failure. MailOnline has more.

China reported 5,280 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, more than double the previous day’s tally, as the highly transmissible Omicron variant spread across a country that has stuck tightly to a Zero-Covid strategy.

That approach, which pivots on hard localised lockdowns and has left China virtually cut off from the outside world for two years, appears stretched to the limit as Omicron finds its way into communities.

At least 13 cities nationwide were fully locked down as of Tuesday, and several others had partial lockdowns, with some 15,000 infections reported nationwide in March.

Scenes of closed neighbourhoods, panic buying and police cordons cast back to the early phase of the pandemic, which first emerged in China in late 2019.

Although cases from the chaotic initial outbreak in Wuhan in early 2020 are widely believed to have been under-reported, life since then had largely returned to normal in China under its strict Zero-Covid approach.

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: Matthew Lynn in the Spectator says China’s zero Covid strategy is a threat to the global economy.

Don’t try to sell this as a pathway worth following. For us in the west life wouldn’t be worth living without certain freedoms. Doesn’t matter how powerful China or Russia becomes. We are the English and we don’t put up with such crap.

Speaking of war, President Zelensky says today that Ukraine won’t ever join NATO. Oh well that’s fine. Except that thousands of Ukrainians and Russians have died and 3 million have been displaced from their homes in the Ukraine because of this scumbag’s efforts to join NATO. And now he sits there in his army green tee-shirt and he says as if he’s Frank Spencer that “Naaahh, Betty, we won’t join NATO now” – as if he hasn’t ever said anything different, and as if no consequences have followed from what he said before. Well some consequences have followed, matey. How long has this vile man got in office? A week or two? It’s really hard to think of a head of a European government who has f*cked up worse. If he had any decency he’d top himself.

One possibility now is that the Azov Regiment wheels round and becomes pro-Putin. Anyone who think that’s beyond the bounds of possibility should consider the origins of Ramzan Kadyrov and the recent history of Chechenia.

Well she can’t be in it for the money…so what is left if not her version of ‘truth’ through experience and revelation .

Like many under the “shock and awe” of the demonic Globalist assault on humanity, I think she has attempted to anchor herself in morality – simply put as a war between Good and Evil to use the binary ‘religious’ term so favoured by Global Media propagandists.

In a philosophical, rational objective and balanced world binary opposites are trite and banal – but our world has ditched rationality for emotion and hysteria and is now being manipulated against reason, civilisation and humanity by some of the most ‘evil’ amoral beings on the planet, corrupted by more obscene wealth and the power it gives them than any psychotic despots in history.

We all know that Wall Street and the Financial sector have been driven by cocaine for decades – and we all know what cocaine does to the mind and the ego!

Yes! I’ve always had that feeling about CAF, going right back to Peak Oil (if anyone remembers that). For a start she runs an investment firm of some description, which means she has ‘skin in the game’ and I guess stands to benefit from panic/disaster thinking; also, she never really reveals anything. She talks about ‘Mr Global’ as a kind of catch-all description of the forces driving the narrative. Well, you used to work in the US Government; throw us a bone! I always feel dissatisfied when listening to her at length. I’m with you.

Reading this after commenting below – I do recognise what you say and need to take it into account – she promised much early on with her shock revelations of the power/money pyramid but now never delivers in her presentations, which remain short, moralising and vague.

In fact she was more informative in the early days when she described the dark intentions of the Central Banks and the Financial Reset in detail .

I suppose her contribution has been overtaken by events and she seems to have little to add to what she has been saying from the outset.

I also take the point about financial interests – once they are addicted the super-rich it seems just cannot stop seeing the opportunity to make even more money in everything they do.

Like many operators her tasty introductions can be seen as attempts to channel the punters into subscriptions( or closing the deal on the time share!).

Yes I feel there is something negative in her. Plus I cannot bear to her her wheezing and gasping as she speaks.

I do not have much trust in anyone who has worked in the financial world, it is an area where people make money just for money’s sake, there is no creativity or growth there.

Edward Dowd seems a bit of an anomaly in that world, as far as I can judge him. Anyway, CAF is not an oracle for me.
Thanks for your feedback, it is always helpful to hear other’s impressions.

Yes it is – but still a ‘mystery’ to so many who simply cannot face the obvious truth.

Once again, our biggest obstacle is stupidity fuelled by ignorance- the breeding ground of tyranny.

See how many ‘civilised’ Good Germans explained away the early Nazi Concentration Camps ( for Germans as well as Jews!) as being good for Germany as undesirables, communists, the work-shy and ‘subversives’ and ‘degenerates’ were worked to death ‘for “the common good” and in the “public interest”.

German workers were bought off with paid holidays and Holiday Camps Butlins style, Cruises in shiny new liners and new ( very “smart” Motorways)

Both the weasel terms above are in Rabb’s proposed Bill of Rights which abolishes the Human Rights Act by taking some of our inalienable Rights way and hands them to be interpreted by the State at its pleasure!

A total of 25 million Russians died defeating Hitler’s armies.

And that’s considered at the lower end of the estimates.

Criticism of the policies of any state of individual is fine. Moralistic absurdities playing upon ignorance are not.

But who nowadays has even heard of the Siege of Leningrad, the Battle of Moscow, the Battle of Stalingrad?

In Leningrad they built tanks in bombed-out factories to defeat Hitler’s armies; in Moscow the soldiers walked to the frontline from Red Square. As for the Battle of Stalingrad, the heroism and determination resulted in one of the pivotal defeats of Nazi Germany and was honoured by grateful people (including George VI).

These absurd and offensive depictions of Russians are built upon profound historical ignorance. Criticism that is not widely informed and thoughtful is worth very little in the end.

Is it really the ‘last gasp of zero covid policy’ though? Or is something else going on? It insults logic. So if we’re to believe this, the most populous country on earth has somehow evaded the virus for 18 months and suddenly has what would in most countries amount to a minor outbreak of a much weaker and less virulent strain of what was already a fairly inconsequential virus, and decides to lock 30 million people down? No. Something’s going on. I think a profound economic event is coming down the line and China, like everywhere, is using covid strategically as a kind of war measure.

This could be relevant :
In two weeks, China, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan will reveal a new, independent, international monetary and financial system.
It will be based on a new international currency, calculated from an index of national currencies of the participating countries and international commodity prices. [Mar. 14, 2022, Sputnik News].

The audience is probably a combination of the internal population in China, including officials, and analysts working on the China desks in rival great powers. It won’t include foreign mass audiences, because who gives a toss about them? Not the Chinese government.

All sorts of things to do with biological weapons and “who knows what about them” and “who suspects what about them” go on that the vast majority of us get told absolutely nothing about.

People produce goods for export because this makes them money they need for a living. When factories are forcibly shut down, they can’t do this anymore, hence, they’ll suffer the consequences as they can’t escape the situation. Prospective buyers of said products, however, can and business lost in this way won’t easily transfer back as this would cost money.

From what I can see, it’s largely Cantonese and Hakka speaking people, and some South Korean immigrant workers, who have been interned.

The “CCP” is in practice the Mandarin Empire, a xenophobic ethnostate.

Even within the Han people, Mandarin and Cantonese are no closer than German an English, and I go in for the Godwin deliberately. The Mandarin Empire has the same basic goals as the Third Reich: they just have vastly more resources and are far more patient about it.

So this looks rather like some of the vassal peoples got some uppity ideas above their station, and had to be brought sharply to heel.

I am so sick of this covid aka great reset nonsense. Potential side effects of jabs include chronic inflammation, because the vaccine continuously stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies. Other concerns include the possible integration of plasmid DNA into the body’s host genome, resulting in mutations, problems with DNA replication, triggering of autoimmune responses, and activation of cancer-causing genes. Alternative COVID cures EXIST. Ivermectin is one of them. While Ivermectin is very effective curing COVID symptoms, it has also been shown to eliminate certain cancers. Do not get the poison jab. If you want to get Ivermectin you can visit https://ivmpharmacy.com

Why would anyone believe one word that comes out of China? A country desperate for dominance. A communist country with strict surveillance and severe working conditions. No thanks. I don’t believe a word of it. They are too desperate and greedy to lockdown 30 million people. But hey, if you think they are doing it, well okay, your choice.

They know it’s just theatre. Why on earth would anyone wear a hazmat suit against a weak coronavirus?

Why was my post removed for saying I hope the disease goes through China like a dose of salts and gives them a taste of their own medicine? There aren’t any profanities there.

This looks very odd. One hopes they haven’t had another laboratory whoopsie?
