Data Looking Good For July 19th Unlock, but July 5th Too Soon, Says SAGE Member

The new Health Secretary Sajid Javid’s claim that he would like to see a return to normal “as quickly as possible” has been responded to by a leading member of SAGE who warns that we shouldn’t “rush” into unlocking on July 5th. But with such a high proportion of the adult population (including those who are most vulnerable to Covid) already fully vaccinated, and daily deaths after 28 days of a positive Covid test rarely topping 15, there is no legitimate reason to hold off until July 19th. WalesOnline has more.

An announcement is expected tomorrow from the Prime Minister about when all Covid restrictions can be lifted in England.

The rules were originally planned to lift this month but were put back to July 19th because of the spread of the Delta variant of the virus, will the caveat that could be brought forward by two weeks if all was going well.

Professor Sir Peter Horby, Chairman of the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group, says “encouraging” Covid data suggested restrictions in England could indeed be eased by July 19th – but not any sooner.

The member of SAGE told the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show: “We always have to be driven by the data, not the dates.

“So we’re watching it very carefully and there will be a lot of analysis of the data coming up to that date, to make sure we’re comfortable with that release.

“At the moment, the data is encouraging that we can do that. But we have to make sure that we follow the data.”

He said he would not bring the restrictions easing date forward, adding that it had been “very sensible” to delay the previous June 21st target date by four weeks.

“I don’t think we should rush into anything, we really want to make sure that we can release all restrictions and not have to backtrack at all,” he added.

Sir Peter said the route out of the pandemic would be “a bumpy road” with “twists and turns”.

This will be the first test of Javid’s mettle and no doubt is the SAGE Committee testing the new Health Minister for compliance. Just like they controlled the other bloke, can’t quite remember his name… Something to do with willy’s I think?

Javid is a globalist and will pursue globalist policies. The prime policy is to secure Digital ID. Not much else matters to them. It’s the best way to control the people and stop populism in its tracks.

He is the perfect choice to not just oversee the next step, but the one thereafter: the introduction of a programmable (you can only spend it on things they allow you to spend it on, and that only of you were playing along nicely, of course) digital currencies, ultimately replacing cash.

Can anyone think of a coherent reason that 2 weeks would make any difference at all? Is there any actual evidence that current rules are in fact doing anything at all?

As I understand it, a possible reason is the rush to shove jollop into as many people as possible by that date. I think the Grand Turk had that and a date in his “aspiration” list; probably along with rebuilding his harem.

You make a good point. Of course, he was and is a liar, a selfish egomaniac, a psychopath, a coward, a bully, and prey to satyrism. What is notable is that he had some determination, if only to demonstrate and pursue these unlikeable aspects of his nature, unconstrained by superego. Now he is as weak as water, completely unmanned.

He is simply very busy, has eyes on him all the time, and is older than he was.
There remains the vacancy in his life which Jimmy Goldsmith once referred to. Once he is no longer PM, I expect it will be filled.

Nope. Apart from destroying the economy, the present rules are doing well. We are pretty much where we were last year with no masks and no vaccines.

The mayor of Rostock stated yesterday that testing should not be suspended for the unvaccinated at low incidence numbers as it is currently the case, because that lowers the vaccine uptake.
Notice, they aren’t even trying to find a medical argument for this anymore, they are now openly admitting that it is solely about ensuring that everybody is jabbed.
As you stated, that is also the sole true reason for the delay(s).

Didn’t take SAGE long to start on the new boy then, or maybe they were asked to, by the PM or by Javid himself. We shall probably never know what truly went on.

It is interesting that over one third of hospital admissions are in one NHS Trust – East Lancs and in one location there, Blackburn with Darwen, there are massively high rates of infections, but for the life of me I can’t think why that would be 😉

“Professor(1) Sir(2) Peter Horby, Chairman of the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group(3)”

So – lets do an analysis of the credentials :

(1) Used to climbing the academic greasy pole
(2) Rewarded for services to government
(3) Very close to government – part of an attached propaganda team responsible for botched advice on Covid management

Research group partly funded by the Wellcome Trust.

Obviously, statistically ignorant.

Notable that his research group is not (as far as advertised) researching Ivermectin, although its remit is this sort of medication. Warned off?

There should never have been a delay, nor any lockdowns and restrictions in the first place.
And yes, deaths and hospitalisations are and will stay low anyway, which supports: see above.
But clearly, for whatever reason- my hunch is that it is in comparison excessive testing plus ‘vaccines are actually creating/reinforcing the mutations and their spread’ (see Israel and Seychelles too), especially if the population gets over-vaccinated, beyond only the vulnerable and/or a say a 40% rate- case numbers are now rising in the UK in contrast to most EU countries.
Which simply means that there can’t be and won’t be a reopening, whatever they tell us till 19.7., and also that not putting more EU countries on the green list does not make any sense at all, but is purely political/revenge driven.
Germany, for example, now has a case number of 7/100k. When do they want to put it on the green list? At minus 50?!

Now that we have a new pantheon of medical saints, the Whitty hagiography in the Sunday Times magazine, which, as is my wont, I have just got around to reading, had me choking on my glass of Barbera. For his next trick, perhaps he’ll walk on water. Otherwise, he could raise the tens of thousands of Lazaruses done in by the non-NHS, and the hecatomb yet to come.

PS Michie the Commie psych is also quoted at least twice in the ST bootlicker magazine. The scum have risen to the surface of the foul broth.

Peter Horby played his part in the Discovery trial that acted as kangaroo court and high executioner of Hydroxychloroquine and kept going the dodgy legality of the various EUAs as if it had not then, because Fauci already said back in 2005 the drug was the only successful treatment for SARS 2001 there would have been no reason to develop unproven gene therapy ‘vaccines’.
I would be extremely surprised if his fingerprints aren’t found on the weapon his Oxford pals intend to fabricate to kill Ivermectin as an already proven SARS-CoV-2 antiviral.
To hear him trying to explain to Andrew Marr that the vaccines are really really really good, but “you were just unlucky” was dissembling of the highest order.
Hopefully people will see through the lies being spouted by people whose fortunes rely on the public continuing to accept jabs that are known to NOT prevent infection, NOT prevent disease, and NOT to prevent transmission.
Remind us again Horby, on what basis were these so called vaccines sold to the British public.
