60% of Brits Fully Vaccinated Against Covid

More than 60% of U.K. adults have been given two doses of a Covid vaccine, but the Government’s view is that this isn’t enough to justify the easing of lockdown restrictions. The Prime Minister hopes that two-thirds of the adult population will be fully vaccinated by July 19th, creating a “wall of immunity“. Even then, he warns that “a proportion of the elderly and vulnerable may still succumb [to the virus] even if they have had two jabs”. The MailOnline has more on the latest milestone reached in the national vaccine roll-out.

More than 31.7 million over-18s have already had both doses, while 43.4 million – or 82.5% – have had their first jab, official statistics show.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock hailed the figures, claiming the U.K. was now “so close to ensuring the entire adult population is protected”.

Number 10’s Vaccine Chief Nadhim Zahawi – who will likely brag about the achievement at a 5pm Downing Street press conference tonight – hailed the “extraordinary feat”.

Ministers have once again urged Brits to come forward for their vaccines, with the roll-out now on the final phase with all over-18s able to book an appointment.

Mr Zahawi said getting two doses was “absolutely vital” because of the rapid spread of the Indian variant, adding: “I urge everyone eligible to get their jab and help us get back to normality.” …

Number 10 has now pledged to offer a first dose of a jab to all over-18s by the new “terminus day” of July 19th, and have a separate goal of fully vaccinating two-thirds of adults by the same date.

Although the target is not a pre-requisite of easing lockdown, the Prime Minister stressed the urgent need to jab as many people as possible to finally end restrictions.

why would I have a novel vaccine with no long term safety data which fails to protect me from a cold?

I’d rather just have the cold. I’ve had colds before. They are literally nothing to worry about.

If I had one foot in the grave and the other on a banana skin then maybe its worse than a cold – but who fucking cares! You’ve only got months anyway. Got to die of something

I think most are just desperate to get back to normal – after sixteen months of government restrictions and endless misleading propaganda people have become weary and desperate and desperate people will not only believe anything but they will also do anything too in return for some normality once again – like the battered housewife who has suffered endless abuse from her husband – she is willing to do anything to get back to how things used to be before the abuse began.

I think they do. My life-long best friend, who has broken our friendship with shocking abuse because I won’t have a vaccine (even though I told her I’ve had covid and am immune she called me a f***ing moron) is too scared to leave her house. She now spends her days making cloth dolls. So far she’s made 24 and running out of space to put them. I am seriously afraid for her sanity.

I told her, as a final flourish, that I don’t wear a mask either.I can only guess her reaction to that.

“60% of British people may have had an injection purporting to be a vaccine”

How much protection do they have against being infected by SARS-COV-2?

Not much. By the manufacturers’ own admission.

On the other hand, I have had the best possible protection against future infection by SARS-COV-2.

I was infected with it and recovered – within a week.

Just as the Chief Medical Officer said, last March, that the overwhelming majority of people would.

What happened to change your mind, Mr Whitty? Why all the doom and gloom and the fear campaign and the psychological warfare on the population and the desperation that the pandemic should continue and the determination that everyone must be vaccinated?

Did somebody with a lot of power and influence, have a word with you?

Not a jab (I hate that word too, very patronising), not a vaccination, but an experimental injection – and always will be experimental because the clinical trials have been spoilt by being unblinded and the control group being offered the experimental injection.

Benefits of mass vaccination: basically none, since we know the disease is not a major threat

On the costs of mass vaccination, three broad possibilities:

1 The conspiracists are right and the vaccine has some deadly nefarious content. Result, mass death or infertility or some such.

2 The cockupists are right and the vaccines are relatively normal vaccines, in other words they negatively affect a small proportion of those who take them, some seriously. Result, we spend the next years or decades watching for and dealing with negative consequences in the vast numbers injected, and paying for the immense costs of the vaccination program.

3 The cockupists are right and one or more of the vaccines has some unforeseen catastrophic health impact on significant numbers of people and we spend the next few yeas or decades dealing with that, as well as the massive costs of the vaccination campaign.

So no benefits, and a choice of huge cost scenarios.

Three cheers for technocratic rule!

Julian

The evidence so far points to something between 2 and 3 – much less safe than many currently common vaccines, but perhaps not quite as bad as (3) – though it depends on you definition of “significant”. The problem is the long term safety is unknown.

Other possible costs: Driving the evolution of more dangerous strains/variants, covering the lies up, establishing the idea that quickly developed vaccines are the answer to everything, and must be imposed

MadJock1

Yep – That’s roughly how I see it – but probably nearer 3 than 2 in my view. What has happened is textbook major, preventable, disaster. Take your pick – Chernobyl, Bophal, Piper Alpha, Gulf of Mexico, Herald of Free Enterprise, Ladbrook Grove, B737 MAX …. the list is endless. All have common themes. Things being rushed, existing procedures ignored / subverted, those that should have been ensuring quality side-lined or turning a blind eye, commercial / political pressure, warnings ignored, those that try to speak out silenced – and finally at the end of it all, coverup. If you want confirmation that things will go wrong just read any of the books on safety management by James Reason and think about what has been done over the last 18 months. The only questions are the scale of the damage – and who (if anyone) will eventually be held accountable.

Organisational culture and human behaviour will feature heavily in the analysis. Group think will be shown to play a huge part in the failure to mitigate the worst harms in the entire shameful episode.

The culture in organisations that actively prevents critical independent thought must be rooted out. NHS, universities, and government inspectorates and agencies are all culpable: their leaders need jail time.

The problem is the quality of what you call “the evidence so far”. If they cannot be trusted on treatments – banning Ivermectin etc – on PCR testing – on death certification – why would you trust their evaluation on safety? When the Oxford Professor of Evidence Based Medicine was attacked from the very start? When falsified studies have appeared in the Lancet? When Yeadon reports that expert immunologists are too worried for their livelihoods to talk about the known facts of the immune system? We have had a gp here saying there is pressure in the NHS felt by junior colleagues not to report possible effects to the Yellow Card system. We know Imperial runs the Pfizer Yellow Card system. We see US reports from parents of boys with heart attacks that it was extremely difficult to get anything to VAERS. We now those systems only capture a small percentage of effects. And we have very senior scientists, including Robert Malone, issuing very serious warnings – and those warnings are almost only being given by those who are independent through retirement or financial success. It’s a 1. Those selling the stabs are ruthlessly disregarding risk and death. They want… Read more »

Active subversion of the safety process in any other industry would result in very serious consequences, perhaps because the end accident is accompanied by an unmissable loud bang, smoke, flame, bodies and debris everywhere. The concealment, obsfuscation and outright lies demonstrated within the medical and pharmaceutical industry is breathtaking, compounded by cultural arrogance that their victims are unimportant and too stupid to notice the harms done to them.

Don’t let them off the hook by implying they are incompetent and didn’t/don’t know what they were doing. These are deliberate, clear-cut crimes. They downgraded the severity level of Covid19 on 19th March 2020 and THEN locked down. They loosened up the laws on how death registration was processed to facilitate death certificate FORGERY. They invented TRANSPARENTLY FRAUDULENT methods of counting Covid deaths in order to hijack the souls of the dead and weaponise their death AGAINST those they left behind by using deceit to ramp up the death toll which is pure evil. They ran 24/7 hardcore PROPAGANDA campaigns which are still ongoing for a virus no more deadly than a bad flu, even if you believe all their BS. They made people wear masks when they KNEW masks had no effect after decades of research into their effectiveness at preventing airborne viruses – mask wearing (especially the horrible cheap material ones which most are wearing) can lead to numerous bad health outcomes. More than 60% of U.K. adults have been given two doses of a Covid vaccine

Is this the right time to observe that even the WSJ is having to admit that there might be issues here:

Are Covid Vaccines Riskier Than Advertised?
I think we’ve reached the point where we should ask:

Should doctors be prescribing catching covid to protect against the vaccines?

For some categories of patients, it seems pretty clear the vaccines are more dangerous than the disease, especially newer variants that might be less virulent.

Stupid as it might seem to prescribe a disease to protect against a treatment supposedly aimed at preventing the disease, one could foresee a potential situation in which proof of either vaccination or prior infection is required for some activity.

Thus does madness beget madness.

The related issue is that they are not interested in trying to find out whether someone is already immune on account of having dealt with it normally. Logically, they could take a blood sample first, before offering the new drug, but when I offered that, there was no reply; a blind eye job to questions like that. One could shell out a few hundred quid to have it done, though.

If you wanted to perpetuate the myth that asymptomatic illness/transmission existed though, there’s not much better way than giving people a “vaccine” that only reduces severity of symptoms and then letting only those people mingle.

I firmly believe now that the “asymptomatic” element of covid that has been falsely perpetuated by China is by far its most important feature. Without it, everything else falls away.

Luckily his brother, who is a couple of years older, told them that he is currently ‘too busy’ when offered a date for a jab.
