Tony Blair Says the Left Has to End Its “Unholy Alliance” With Islamists to Stamp Out Antisemitism

Tony Blair says “progressive” politicians are dodging Left-wing antisemitism because tackling it would mean confronting their movement’s “unholy alliance” with hardline Islamists. The Mail has the story.

The former prime minister said that figures on the Left are failing to confront extremists who see all Jews as supporters of Israel and the Netanyahu regime and therefore “fair game” for violence and intimidation in the wake of the Israeli war in Gaza.

His intervention comes after an arson attack that destroyed four Jewish community ambulances in Golders Green, North London, last week.

Sir Tony, who is now involved with Donald Trump’s Board of Peace initiative, said that while people were free to criticise Israel for its actions in killing thousands, they were failing to criticise the Hamas terror attack which triggered the war, and the group’s actions during the fighting.

Writing for CBS chief executive Bari Weiss’s the Free Press blog, he said: “The problem is that, under pressure from party activists and parts of the Muslim community, many progressive politicians who do sincerely reject antisemitism are not making these arguments, and failing to take head-on this literally ‘unholy alliance’ between parts of the Left and Islamists in our own societies whose ideology leads inexorably to antisemitism.

“Because failure to do so creates the climate in which, even if antisemitism is not explicitly condoned, it flourishes.”

He also warned that “without a challenge to the ideology that encourages antisemitism, while clothing it in indignation at the human cost of war, incidents like the one with the ambulances will continue to the shame of our society”.

Blair, who makes my feel physically sick every time I see the creature, is the biggest traitor in history. The thing should be serving his punishment in this life, not a free man to carry on committing evil. There is, however, I believe a life beyond this one where the thing will surely be judged.

“Tony Blair Says …”

It’s like a bloody weather warning !

Hackles immediately raised and my first thought – what is this Next Tuesday up to now because it will definitely be far removed from the subject under discussion.

Second thought – how much is this going to cost us?

There’s something about it that makes my skin crawl. Like you, my first thoughts are what is this utter Kunt up to? I’m now trying to work out if replacing the ‘c’ with an upper case ‘k’ makes much difference… probably not.

But Tony, Tony, Tony, there are many (but not all) on the Left that don’t like Jews anyway.

Some consider Marx to have had personal prejudices against Jews and this ‘heritage’ has been handed down to modern socialist supporters.

So good luck with that Tony.

No! Karl Marx was Ethnically Jewish himself, though not religiously. Karl’s Substack makes some very interesting points to help clarify the Jewish way of thinking about their identity: “After all Karl Marx – the founding father of Social Democracy and Marxism – is very well known to have been of Jewish origin since his father Heinrich Marx (born (alternatively Hirschel ha-Levi Marx) (1) was the son of a great rabbinical family via Karl Marx’s grandfather: Meir ha-Levi Marx. (2)” “Marx’s paternal grandmother Chage Lwow was the daughter of one of the best regarded of eighteenth-century rabbis: Moses Lwow. (3) Marx’s mother Henrietta Pressburg (alternatively Pressborck) was no less illustrious, coming from a long-line of Dutch rabbis (4) of Hungarian origin herself (5) and as a mark of her family’s prestigious rabbinical lineage, she wouldn’t convert to the nominal Evangelical Protestantism of her husband until her father – a rabbi himself – had passed away. (6)” “Jewishness is far more in terms of meaning than a simple confession of faith, but rather is A CULTURAL AND NATIONAL IDENTITY as well as a religious one. Even Judaism ascribes Jewishness (i.e., Israelite status) as being A BIOLOGICAL NOT A CONFESSIONAL MATTER (10) and… Read more »

You miss the point. Yes, Marx was technically Jewish since his mother was a Jewess, but he was not a practising Jew. He did share common prejudices of the time about Jews and money. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that Marx internalized the anti-semitic attitudes he came into contact with around the country? Certainly you can cherry pick quotes from ‘On The Jewish Question’ to suggest antisemitism.

I rather suspect that his attitudes towards Capitalism were more important to him, but I also suggest that they were tinted by the prejudices of the time, and these have rolled forward.

If Daily Sceptic is now exhuming the Blair creature, then it might be time for me to cancel my donations. There is literally nothing that vile excuse for a human, that war criminal, could possibly say that I have the slightest interest in hearing or reading.

Yeah OK I feel your pain, as t.bliar would say.. but it is interesting because it is a peephole into the worldview of the lizard class, and as such is a sign that things are maybe getting less shitty.

Blair has been wrong about everything else and he is wrong about this.
There is no left wing anti-Semitism.
People hate the Jewish state of Israel for what they do not for their religion.
The left are totally ambivalent towards Jews until those Jews start supporting the ethnic cleansing that Israeli governments have been committing for decades.
Jews who say “not in my name” are applauded by the left.

There’s plenty of antisemitism coming from the far-Right also, as anyone with a Twitter account will attest to. People of the Steve Laws ilk who have a pathological obsession with ethnicity and meet the definition of ‘white supremacist’, whilst attempting to pass themselves off as mere ‘patriots’.
They swarm people’s comments sections and accuse them of being Jews merely for either supporting Israel or being vaguely critical of Restore Britain. Again, this is where the Horseshoe theory is evident because it doesn’t matter where one sits politically, people seem to hate Jews at both extreme ends and chuck the word around like a pejorative or a slur. Such people demonstrate on the regular how irrational, vindictive and unhinged they are. Just a few examples of people who are regularly being trolled by these haters on Twitter are Charlotte Gill, Dr Philip Kiszely, Kelly-Jay Keen and ( always the ”Zionist shill” ) Tommy Robinson.
But Twitter, as there are no moderators, is The realm of the stereotypical keyboard warrior, though. It’s the double-edged sword of ‘free speech absolutism’, but at least people have the ability to block shit-stirrers who harass and stalk them on there.

Also, exercise is superior to Prozac or similar. It’s my bread and butter ( not so much bread anymore ), not just a hobby.👩‍🍳🏋‍♀️🚵‍♀️🧘‍♀️

The only valid argument re any of the above is that Blair isn’t just wrong about everything it’s that he’s been one of the main causes of everything that’s wrong –

Everybody must be vaccinated (Farage wanted him to be the Vaccine Czar).

You need to get out more.

Hitler, Stalin = the Left = Jew-haters.

Jew-hating is endemic in the ideology of the Left.

Jews are seen as bourgeoisie, successful, wealthy, money-lenders, clever, business owners, self-sufficient, independent – all the things the Left hates and wants to destroy.

So says the man who turbo-charged Islamist immigration and embedded it in the UK via appeasement and the Muslim bloc vote.

I wish someone would permanently rid us of Blair: he did more to destroy the UK than the Kaiser and Hitler combined.

Start with an apology for not only letting in millions of immigrants but also for silencing any critics by branding them racists! Then apologize for being too cowardly to deal with the Islamic threat before and after the 7th July Bombings in 2005 and finally set out a roadmap for returning our institutions from their biases against the indiginous white people, particularly male! Then and only then will people believe you are reformed enough to have an opinion worth considering!
