NHS Doctor Accused of Supporting Hamas Shouts “Game On” as She’s Released on Bail
NHS doctor Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, who has been charged with posting on social media in support of Hamas, shouted “game on” after being released on bail. The Mail has more.
Dr Rahmeh Aladwan appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court where she indicated not guilty pleas to four counts of inviting support for the proscribed group.
The court heard the charges date from July 23rd to December 31st last year, and relate to comments or material posted online.
The 31 year-old also indicated not guilty pleas for stirring up racial hatred using words or behaviour at a speech she allegedly made at a protest on July 21st in King Charles Street, Westminster, and stirring up racial hatred through the publishing and distributing of written material on November 19th.
Following the hearing, Aladwan was greeted by more than a dozen protesters waving Palestinian flags, carrying placards and banging a drum.
After being handed a microphone, she directly addressed the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, shouting: “Let me tell you again Wesley Streeting, game on! Game on! Free Palestine!”
Aladwan was arrested at her home in Pilning, south Gloucestershire, yesterday morning for allegedly breaching police bail conditions imposed after previous arrests, police said.
She was taken to a central London police station and charged with the six offences.
Aladwan, who is British Palestinian and appeared in the dock wearing a beige hoodie and a black jacket, was released on conditional bail ahead of a next hearing on April 24th at the Old Bailey.
She spoke only to confirm her identity and indicate her pleas.
Carl Kelvin prosecuting said: “Between July and December she posted a large quantity of material on social media and took part in a number of protests against Israel and in support of people in Gaza.”
One of Aladwan’s posts called Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis a “genocidal murderer”, it is claimed.
He said another of her posts on X read: “I don’t condemn Hamas. I don’t condemn October 7th. I don’t condemn armed resistance to occupation.”
She also allegedly called on the world to [oppose] “Jewish supremacy”, adding that “it’s simple as humanity versus evil”.
He said part of a protest she attended outside the Foreign Office was captured on video, in which Aladwan could be heard telling the crowd Britain’s politicians had been “taken over by Zionism”, that they should be “Britain first, not Israel first”, and accusing Streeting of “taking £70,000 from the Israel lobby”.
Addressing the crowd through a microphone, she said: “They are really fuelling every facet of the British establishment. Who are they? The Israel lobbyists, the Zionist lobby.
“This is what they’re doing with the Terrorism Act, going after a doctor who is Palestinian, who’s never committed an offence, never had a patient complain, and they want to brand me a terrorist and put me behind bars.
“They are subverting and perverting every aspect of Britain, our medical regulators, the police, our law, the justice system, every single thing that we might be proud of in Britain is being used by a minority of people who support genocide to stop us from speaking out.”

Why isn’t she in Palestine supporting her people?
she gets paid to be a doctor, not an agitator for a cause.

It really annoys me. My niece, who trained as a doctor in this country can’t get a job in the NHS and is now working in New Zealand.
yet the government encourages politically active doctors from just about anywhere else in the world to come and regain us with theirbb vs pet grievances and then says isn’t multiculturalism wonderful.

Her only crime is to publicly support Hamas which is illegal in the UK.
All she had to do was not mention Hamas by name.
I don’t agree with her but I tend to think she should not have been arrested and that what she is meant to have done or has done should not be illegal. I am less sure that she should continue being employed by the NHS, though I would need to know more to be sure of anything – I would just question her ability to treat Jewish patients with the required level of professionalism. But that’s a separate question.
My guess is that she hates this country and everything it stands for. We seem to have quite a few people here like that. I think that’s unfortunate. But I speculate.
The military wing of Hamas was proscribed a Terrorist Organisation in 2001.
The remainder ie the political wing, was similarly proscribed in 2021.
Hamas appealed the 2021 decision but HMG are yet to formally respond. The Judge ordered that a proper response be filed on or before the 20th May 2026 and that they “clearly explain any reasons for the delay”.
“Recklessly expressing support for any proscribed group” can be an offence under the TA 2000. Good luck with that one. The UK used to have the finest Parliamentary Counsel.drafting law. Now it looks as though they’ve grabbed someone from the Pond’s Forge bus queue (I’m from Sheffield).
I don’t think having the state proscribe any group or individual as terrorist is of the slightest significance – the state is not a trustworthy source of information or decision making. I’m sure, given my beliefs about the legitimacy of our state, I would also be proscribed as a terrorist. The actual terrorists of the UK is the state, as their sole focus is to destroy our country and culture from within.
As far as this woman is concerned, I wish she’d just piss off to Palestine and pursue her activism there, not on the streets of English Christian land.
Fine, she should resign and become a full time activist. We should not be bankrolling her through the NHS to spew bile in public.

I don’t think there is any wit. It is the polar opposite of wit – a negative wit.
Funny how people love to be British when it suits them and denigrate us the rest of the time.
This is the sectarian clutter we have imported to this country, and it is only going to get worse and worse.
What does”Game on” actually mean?
She cannot possibly continue to be employed by the NHS since she would clearly find it impossible to treat a British Jew, or an Israeli tourist, properly and, therefore, cannot fulfil her role.
If doctors can be struck off and lose their careers just for adhering to their oaths to do no harm, not forgetting what medical ethics are and be persecuted just for continuing to comply with evidence-based practice during the Scamdemic and death jab roll-out then this hateful, unprofessional and overtly prejudiced activist should be struck off without question. There should be zero tolerance for this sort of behaviour when you’re in such a trusted position and expected to treat all patients impartially when they’re in your care.
It’s when you see them protesting, out and about wearing their hospital scrubs, front line staff bringing not only the NHS but also the profession into disrepute, you just think how the hell did such reckless dipshits even pass medical school? Ignorant beyond measure. That’s why this isn’t merely an issue of freedom of speech. I don’t agree with arresting them but I do think they shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine, because that’s one hell of a red flag to ignore in terms of their suitability to do the job.
If she’s a Palestinian, deport her.
