The Hypocrisy of Together Alliance That Unites Islamist Extremists to Oppose the “Far Right”
The Together Alliance is so worried about the far Right that it has organised a mass demonstration to show… what exactly? That its “hundreds of civil society organisation” don’t like the far Right. We could have hoped for one of the organisers to have checked in with reality where they would find that the far Right has not had any success at local elections since the BNP in Dagenham and Barking, 16 years ago. But the reality of democratic politics is not their thing – it’s really all much more about ‘the vibes’.
The website carries messages from an Elliot from Pembrokeshire who says “I understand history – I want the future to be bright and full of hope!” Or Natasha from Huddersfield who says she felt sick listening to “friends and family who felt personally targeted by ‘the message’ they saw in those flags”. Heartfelt, no doubt. But one would have hoped for some signs of empathy for Britain’s Jews who clearly face far more hateful things than flags, and have done so long before the recent sickening attacks on the ambulances run by the Hatzola charity in Golders Green.
If Together Alliance understood history, and was really concerned with social unity, it might have gone out of its way to invite, for example, the Campaign Against Antisemitism or Tell Mama to support its event. These are voices who have been openly critical of Islamism, and they would have added diversity of political viewpoint to a supporter list that is somewhat lacking in political variety to say the least. Organisations like the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB), which was described in a UK government review as “the Muslim Brotherhood in the UK” with links to European branches of the Brotherhood, are clearly welcomed. The Muslim Brotherhood, according to the same review, also played a formative role in the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), also a listed supporter, as is Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND). MEND is listed as an Islamist organisation of concern in a 2024 government research paper, along with far Right groups such as Patriotic Alliance. Lest anyone is still naïve enough to think that these groups represent all Muslims who are oppressed, they should consider the views of non-conformist Muslims who resent fundamentalist being regarded as respectable representatives. Patriotic Alliance would of course not be welcome, but why then are the Islamist extremist groups?
It seems that extremism is not a problem as long as you espouse an anti-patriotic, anti-Western ideology. If these boxes are ticked, you can expect to be endorsed by those with cultural and political influence. Anti-Reform (a Facebook page) and the UnReformed Times (no information available online) are also listed as supporters. This rather gives the game away. Together Alliance is not about uniting people around bland kumbaya slogans: it is about constructing a cordon sanitàire around populist political opinions. It is about legitimising and protecting those who hold elitist, anti-populist views while delegitimising the views of others as “far Right”.
The fact that this new elite ideology of the technocratically-minded political class and its allies in culture is presented through old-style Left groups and language only shows how irrelevant the traditional Left has become. So much so that it is willing to join in the contempt-fest towards its traditional base, the working class (plural in ethnicity and religion) which happens to love its country. Yes the flags can represent different things to different people who put them up and who see them. Some may be motivated by prejudiced exclusion, others by love and pride of country. The latter, the majority, are fed up with not only their diminished political representation but also of decades-long socio-cultural stigmatisation as governments have tried to socially engineer them into Guardianista type citizens.
At at time characterised by political flux at the geopolitical as well as national level, it is more important than ever to uphold a public space where all opinions can be discussed, ridiculed, rebutted, refuted, refined, dropped or changed. This – otherwise known as democratic debate – cannot happen if those who do not hate their country or think British history is the fount of all evil believe that to voice their view risks being associated with the far Right and unworthy of tolerance, or indeed respect. Together Alliance and other similar organisations warn us about those stoking fear and division: they should take a look in the mirror.

The far left is going to form an alliance with Islamic extremists to oppose the far right! Islamic extremists are at the right hand side of the far right spectrum. What could possibly go wrong?
‘Useful idiots’ are part of a much longer play…
The left did so well in Iran. Once the Islamists took over they were defenestrated with extreme prejudice.
Extreme left and Extreme right – on average they’re just centrist dads really, and the mental thing is plenty of hard-of-thinking otherwise decent centrist dads will vote for these f@ckers .
I have a friend who still says ‘far Right’ is about anybody who is Right of Jeremy Corbyn but he still only listens to BBC Radio 4 news and their world view of the ‘far Right’ is it still exists. Hence these woke alliances have appeared over the last 5 years or so spouting nonsense about a non-entity.
I would struggle to keep a friendship going with someone like that. He sounds like is in a permanent denial of facts. I bet he believes in global warming and the power of the covid vax as well.
What does he bring to the table?
You don’t have to watch all of this 25min podcast with co-founder and acting Chair of Together Alliance: Kevin Courtney, but you can hear his credentials within the first 2mins then he goes to town on Tommy Robinson ( who seems to live rent-free in his head, along with Reform, going by his Twitter page );
”With Reform and the far-right on the rise, Trade Unionist and co-founder of the Together Alliance, Kevin Courtney, joins host Carol Turner to discuss the state of politics, the foundation of the Alliance, and what you can do to get involved.”

What a hotchpotch of supporters who helped launch this thing, with some real disappointments in there ( I’m looking at you, Franz Ferdinand! ). Men as well as women, inconveniently for certain individuals on here who seem to struggle with reality on a regular basis;

It is a very peculiar alliance when infact Muslims are some of the most Conservative people around. They certainly do not want men in their daughters toilet or changing room or any of the other gender nonsense, so why they might align with Greens is particularly mysterious.
I once fitted a heating system for a muslim family. The daughters were not allowed in the same room as me unattended. When I was bleeding the radiators it was like I was chasing them round the house. I don’t think that putting a frock on would have improved the situation.
I can only surmise that the Greens are providing a useful vehicle for getting more muslims into the higher echelons of representative politics. Once muslims have sufficient numbers of seats on councils etc. they’ll be able to break away and act more openly in their own interests.
What have Muslims been promised by the Greens led by Jewish Polanski that they can’t get from Labour led by Jewish Starmer, we wonder?
Smarmers wife is Jewish, not Smarmer.
Starmer has described the Jewish religious rituals in which he partakes with his family. He attends the Jewish synagogue with them, not any Christian church.
“Keir Starmer has regularly spoken about the importance of Judaism to his family, and has shared that Friday night dinners are a tradition. SHABBAT is a “rock in the week,” he has said.
“The new Prime Minister has said he is keen to raise children who “recognise the faith of part of their grandfather’s family,” and SHABBAT DINNERS are an important part of that. “EVERY WEEK THERE’S A CHALLAH, AND WE SAY KIDDUSH”, Starmer said of his family’s traditions.”
“Earlier this week, Rishi Sunak criticised Starmer for saying that as Prime Minister, he would still take the evening off on Fridays – something which Starmer suggested was insensitive and had antisemitic undertones. “I would have thought to anybody it’s blindingly obvious that a Friday night is quite important in some religions and faiths,” he said. ”
Is Keir Starmer Jewish? The traditions that he could be bringing to Downing Street – The Jewish Chronicle
“If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck”, as the saying goes.
The Green Party seems to have abandoned its eco-friendly roots, and taken up every woke cause it can think of – though I guess the pro-trans and ‘legalise crack’ madness wasn’t mentioned in the Urdu election address, while Gaza was. Did the Green grass roots members have a say in choosing the odd couple of Polanski and Muffin as leaders?
So yet again we are being lectured by Communist Hindus (with the obligatory White Spouse gifting them a western surname) pretending to side with British Patriots in order to continue their ancient Hindu-Muslim Wars on British soil, and persuade the Brits to feebly accept their own Ethnic Replacement, because the Replacers are ever so nice and spew so many Nice Word Salads to bedazzle us peasants, and stop us from flying our “Chav Flag”. From Alka Seghal Cuthbert’s website: “The thrust of Alka’s current political perspective is indicated by the following remark of hers on race relations in the UK: ‘Britain has a positive story to tell about race. My family came here [from India] and found A COUNTRY STILL ON A JOURNEY to redefining its new postwar relationship with the Commonwealth. For the most part it has done this successfully and it’s a tragic mistake to allow all that we’ve achieved to be side-lined in a chaotic rush to import ideas from elsewhere that don’t reflect OUR JOINT INHERITANCE IN THE UK.’ ” She really sounds like Barbara Lerner Spectre. There is no “Joint Inheritance” of the vast Indian Subcontinent with these small British Isles, and The Commonwealth vestige… Read more »
So, Alka Sehgal Cuthbert, why are there no Ethnic African Nigerian Catholics leading one of the main Indian political parties in your ancestral homeland of India?
Why are there no Ethnic African Jamaicans representing India as its “Foreign Minister” on the world stage?
Isn’t it because Ethnic Indians in India prefer to be represented in their own government by their own people, their own Ethnic Group? The same thing you criticise the West for? Isn’t that called “Hypocrisy”???
I hope the Together Alliance has nothing to do wth the Together Declaration – I’m pretty sure they have nothing in common other than the word Togther in the names. A bit sneaky of the upstart alliance… maybe Alan Miller should have a word with them…
They are separate – Together Declaration focusses on opposing digital ID (I subscribe to their newsletter). Confusing, I agree!
Listening to Andrew Gold interviewing Raymond Ibrahim right now… perfectly describes how the Greenies and their fellow lefty friends will be used until they are no longer necessary.
