Australia’s Prime Minister Called a “Putrid Dog” and Chased Out of Mosque
Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was called a “putrid dog” and a “genocide supporter” and chased out of the country’s largest mosque by Muslims angered over his support for Israel’s offensive in Gaza. The Telegraph has more.
The Australian Prime Minister was called a “putrid dog” and a “genocide supporter”, referring to Israel’s killing of Palestinians following an attack by Hamas terrorists in 2023.
Albanese has drawn criticism from parts of both the Muslim and Jewish communities in Australia over his centre-Left government’s support for both a ceasefire and Israel’s right to self-defence.
Praying protesters were removed by heavy-handed police when Isaac Herzog, the Israeli President, visited Australia this year in solidarity with Jewish Australians targeted by gunmen inspired by Islamic State during an attack at Bondi Beach.
The confrontation with the Prime Minister at Lakemba Mosque, in Sydney’s southwest, on Friday came as the community marked Eid, the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Albanese attended alongside Tony Burke, the Home Affairs Minister, and sat in silence as the event descended into chaos.
Video footage shows a man yelling “genocide supporters” directly at Albanese and Burke, while others shout: “Why is he in here? Get him out of here!” Some of the other attendees, however, appeared welcoming to the political leaders.
As the crowd pushed to get closer to the prime minister, Gamel Kheir, the mosque’s Secretary, pleaded for calm.
“Respect the place you’re in,” Kheir said, as physical altercations broke out in the mosque.
In one moment, an attendee was seen having his mouth forcibly covered by another in an attempt to silence his shouting.
“We must engage and have frank and open dialogue with our political leaders, and not shy away and be reclusive,” Kheir said.
He was drowned out by shouting: “You called him honourable, he’s responsible for the deaths of one million people, one million of our brothers and sisters,” another attendee shouted.
Security rushed Albanese into the mosque’s administrative offices. He was then ushered out through a rear exit as his motorcade departed to cries of “shame on you” and the slur “Alba-tizi”, a derogatory Arabic play on his surname referencing the buttocks.
While politicians traditionally give speeches at the event, mosque organisers had demanded Albanese attend and listen this year, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
The anger appeared rooted in a breakdown of trust between the Labour Government and Australia’s Middle Eastern community because of its support for Israel and its handling of protests.

Note how Albanese had already tried to appease the mob by agreeing not to speak, just to listen (and doesn’t he look a bit like a hostage in that image at the top?) But this gesture of goodwill only seems to have emboldened the crowd, which apparently took it as a signal of weakness and verbally abused the PM and hounded him out of the building. There must be a lesson in there somewhere.

The German president Frank Walter Steinmeyer just went on record calling Ramadan a German tradition as part of a public Eid celebration. Someone should really have told the assembled muslims that supplying Israel with cheap arms is also a German tradition and that Steinmeyer’s party (SPD) also strongly supports the exactly as German tradition of women with penisses being allowed into all spaces reserved for women.
The lesson to be learnt here is that our political leaders are idiots who do really believe that conflicting goals can be achieved simutaneously, such as heavy-handed Islamification of public life and political and military support for the government of Israel and allowing “beings with penisses” to undress among “penis-less beings.”

My thoughts exactly, peace is the last thing on their minds. The first words from their lips are invariably ‘death’. ‘Death’ to so-and-so; Death to the USA (name your country). Eyes bulging and nostrils flaring, they scream out their unrestrained hate. Compare this with Christianity which advocates love thy neighbour as thyself. I know which regime I would prefer to live under. Although, sadly, it is the meekness of the Christian approach – and the gutless political leaders, that is allowing the march of Islam unchecked into Europe.
Another welcome side effect of American action is the emboldening of people who believed that all they have to do is procreate to prematurely reveal their true intentions. The whole thing might just peak too early – with luck it will.
