George Soros Foundation Funds Slavery Reparations Campaign Against Britain

George Soros’s Open Society Foundations is funding the slavery reparations campaign against Britain. The Telegraph has the story.

The Open Society Foundations (OSF), established by Hungarian investor George Soros and now led by his son, Alex Soros, has donated vast sums from its $23 billion (£17.2 billion) endowment to progressive causes.

The foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to groups seeking to claim reparations from Britain for slavery and colonialism.

The OSF helped to found a joint Caribbean and African campaign, and supported organisations that are now considering international litigation that could heap pressure on the British Government.

The formal reparations campaign began in 2014, when the Caribbean Community (Caricom) unsuccessfully presented demands to Britain and other European nations. In 2023, the movement was expanded to include the African continent.

The OSF helped bring together Caribbean and African campaigners and policymakers for a ‘study tour’ in Barbados, which has become a hotbed of the reparations movement under Mia Mottley, its Prime Minister.

This trip was co-hosted by the University of the West Indies, whose Vice-Chancellor, historian Prof Sir Hilary Beckles, is leading the Caribbean reparation demands.

The University of the West Indies received $350,000 from the OSF in 2023 to “to increase global consciousness and action on reparatory justice and to strengthen Caribbean-Africa engagement”.

Several months later, the OSF hosted a pivotal summit of politicians and activists in Ghana, an event which led African Union leaders to join Caribbean nations in the campaign against former colonial powers in Europe.

A joint proclamation from the event in Accra stated that governments on both sides of the Atlantic would pursue “remedies for historical mass crimes, including slavery, the trade and trafficking of enslaved Africans, colonialism and racial segregation”.

The OSF gave $300,000 to Ghana’s foreign ministry in 2023. At that time, it was led by Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, a staunch supporter of reparations and now the secretary-general of the Commonwealth.

A further summit was convened in New York with the help of the OSF in 2024, an event which Mottley used as a platform to insist that the Church of England should pay reparations for its involvement in slavery.

The OSF also participated in two “UK Reparations Conference” events organised by Labour MP Bell Ribeiro-Addy, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Afrikan Reparations.

After pledging to join the reparations movement, the African Union began developing its own campaign, and instructed officials working in its Economic, Social and Cultural Council (Ecosocc) to develop strategies that could secure payments.

Following one strategy idea, legal experts are now planning to seek a slavery ruling from the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which can be used to pressure Britain into paying reparations.

This is an attempt to replicate the successful legal strategy that pushed the Labour Government to hand over the Chagos Islands, a decision taken at the urging of judges in The Hague.

Insiders have described the OSF as a “key partner” for Ecosocc, and the organisation has worked with the African Union department to convene reparations experts from around the world.

What an excellent bit of sleuthing from the Telegraph journalists, who have managed to uncover the rock Soros was hiding under !!! Many have long suspected him of financing these bogus slavery reparations, which are just another attempt at The Marxist Redistribution of Wealth, bleeding the West dry so that corrupt Third World politicians can trouser the cash, leaving their people exactly as poor as before.

The sensible response to this African Slavery Scam is to withdraw from the Commonwealth and the United Nations completely, cut off all Foreign Aid to countries demanding reparations, send them a bill for all the Foreign Aid they’ve ever received in the past, another bill for all their infrastructure built for them by western nations, another bill demanding £Trillions in reparations for The White Slave Trade, and then deport every one of them from the West.

There. Sorted. Bye, bye, DEI.

Perhaps it’s time to demand reparations from Soros for his ‘shorting’ the pound on ‘Black Wednesday’, back in 1992.

Good idea. And from Gordon Brown, for treasonously selling off Britain’s Gold Reserves for next to nothing. Who bought them all, I wonder?

The anti-whitists are advocating “slavery reparations”. However, they cannot be reparations since all the slaves are long dead, and, as we all know, the dead cannot benefit from “slavery reparations”.

In fact, what the anti-whitists are advocating is a system of indentured servitude for white people – in other words, serfdom for white people. The system the anti-whitists are proposing is that white people who have never been slave-holders have a portion of their income stolen from them and given to black people who have never been slaves. Given the vast sums of money which the anti-whitsts are proposing to steal – e.g. £18 trillion from the Brits alone – this system of serfdom is planned to last for centuries.

Meanwhile slavery is still happening in many countries around the world – and nobody cares about it.

Well, of course not. Africa and the Caribbean are only used as figleafs here. The real mover or movers behind this will be US political pressure groups seeking to extort money. And they’re probably close to other (US) political pressure groups seeking to extort money because of “climate change” also using the so-called Global South as figleaf.

The starmament of the United Kingdom has outed itself as pushover with the Chagos deal and the plundering of the Church of England because slavery using a seriously thin pretext was also successful. Hence, grifters are queueing to get a share of this pie.

Suggested course of action:

End all foreign aid spending immediately.

Declare the OSF a terrorist organization seeking to subvert democracy in Britain by nefarious means, such as application of Soros’ ill-gotten gains.

Tell the body calling itself International Court of Justice that future attacks on the sovereignity of Great Britain will be met with sufficient force to repel them.

And send former colonies the bill for all the roads, railways, dams, hospitals etc. that we built then gave them when they became independent.
The cost of building all this infrastructure at today’s prices would be trillions of pounds.

I’d never heard of that, but found it just now on Youtube, and it looks very interesting, judging by the public comments on there, so I’ll watch it later. Thanks for the tip!

Perhaps the British Government should sue the Soros foundation for trying to instigate unrest in the UK.
Otherwise just tell them to go F themselves.

The country that made the most from slavery was the USA. let them pay reparations if they want. I suspect Soros would face a tough time on that.

In Britain the eliytes seem to welcome foreign interference and “charity” political campaigning so long as the messages fit their agendas.

Under a Reform government I propose this all be banned, foreign campaigners, lobbyists and funders must register here and may not support politically contentious issues.

I’d think you might be able to make a pretty good case that having been ‘introduced’ into arguably the most successful economy the world has ever seen, over two centuries ago, and largely having failed to take advantage of that fact, the problem lies elsewhere than how their ancestors might actually have arrived…

African tribes hunted and sold other Africans to both white and Arabic traders. Barbary pirates raided Britain for white slaves. Vikings and Romans took slaves from Britain too. The British navy broke the Atlantic slave trade at considerable cost both in lives and gold.

All this was in the past and it should stay there.

By targeting us, they show their bias. Our government must ignore this, but I don’t have much faith. Paying this danegeld would be a vote loser. And the Danes always came back for more.

Dismantle all these ‘foundations’ and activist NGOs. They’re a cancer.

Perhaps Hungary and the USA can both declare him Persona Non Grata and he can go and live in some “African” country or whatever other country he is campaigning for to have these “reparations”.

I struggle to believe he cares about these “countries improverished by slavery” – it’s just a way to destroy European civilisation. I think he would regret doing that, eventually, should he achieve it.

Maybe the Climate grift, or BLM, or the Wuhan Flu contrived lockdowns, didn’t quite bring down the UK, so now Soros is trying the ‘Reparations’ scam?
What was his intention when he shorted the pound?
