Mother and Child “Shot By Trans Father” at Ice Hockey Match
A mother and child have been shot dead at a high school ice hockey match in Rhode Island by a man identifying as a woman who is reported to be the child’s transgender father. The Mail has the story.
The gunman who killed two people at a youth hockey game in Rhode Island appeared to post ominous warnings in the days before the deadly shooting.
An online profile that appears to belong to Robert Dorgan, 56, who also went by the name ‘Roberta Esposito‘, shared an eerie video of a woman running on a treadmill while loading ammunition magazines into a handgun and aiming.
In another post on X, a profile for ‘Roberta Dorgano’ threatened to go “BERSERK” while defending transgender Congresswoman Sarah McBride.
“Keep bashing us,” he wrote Sunday. “But do not wonder why we Go BESERK.”
Just hours after the shooting, a woman who claimed to be Dorgan’s daughter claimed the gunman “has mental health issues”.
“He shot my family, and he’s dead now,” the woman told WCVB.
Dorgan’s ex-wife Rhonda, who was reportedly killed in the shooting, claimed on divorce documents that her husband displayed “narcissistic + personality disorder traits”.
Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said Monday night that Dorgan entered the Dennis M. Lynch Arena to watch a high school hockey match. The attacker then opened fire at around 2.30pm.
At least two people were killed, including a family member and a family friend, before Dorgan then died by suicide, Goncalves said.
Three others were also left in critical condition at a local hospital following the shooting, which authorities said stemmed from a “family dispute”.
A motive for the shooting remained unclear Tuesday morning, but court documents obtained by WPRI show Dorgan had sparred with family members over gender identity issues.
The documents showed he even told police in early 2020 that he had recently undergone gender reassignment surgery – and said his father-in-law wanted him kicked out of their home because of it.
Dorgan claimed to officers with the North Providence Police Department that his father-in-law threatened to “have him murdered by an Asian street gang if he did not move out of the residence”, according to court documents.
The gunman, who told police he had been living at the home for seven years, also claimed his father-in-law told him, “There’s no goddam [sic] way a tranny is going to stay in my house,” the documents read.
The father-in-law was then charged with intimidation of witnesses and victims of crimes, and obstruction of the judicial system, but prosecutors later dismissed the charges.
Other court records show Dorgan had also accused his mother of assaulting him and acting in a “violent, threatening or tumultuous manner”, leading his mother to be charged with simple assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
The case apparently caused further contention between Dorgan and his father-in-law, with Dorgan telling police his father-in-law “told me that if I did not drop the assault charges against my mother, that further retaliation could be expected, and that was another reason to have me killed”.
The case against Dorgan’s mother was also eventually dismissed.
But Dorgan’s gender identity was even cited in his ex-wife, Rhonda’s, petition for a divorce in 2020.
Under the section for “grounds for divorce”, Rhonda initially wrote “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic + personality disorder traits”.
However, those reasons were later crossed out and replaced with “irreconcilable differences, which have caused the immediate breakdown of the marriage”, WPRI reports.
Their divorce was finalised in June 2021, and Rhonda is now believed to be one of the victims of Monday’s shooting along with a family friend.

Lynch Arena before turning the gun on himself. … A source at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives told Fox News that the gunman killed his wife and shot three of his children. Yep, because I would totally accept this person as female if I ran into him in the women’s changing room and have no probs with him using the communal showers in the sports hall alongside my daughter. What a freak show;

Well it does make you wonder if these shootings carried out by trans identified people would have happened anyway, independently of the ‘trans’ part, given the vast majority of mass shootings ( or even the regular shootings ) are perpetrated by non-trans folk. Trans people still make up a titchy percentage of the population but if their numbers have increased in, say, the last 20 years, doesn’t that mean it’s inevitable we’ll be seeing a few more reported now than historically?
Yeah, but at least it didn’t cut anyone’s face off or skin its victims. So no need for an apology from anyone who makes a film about it.

The only time I’ve ever seen men dressed like the guy in the picture has been drunk guys on stag dos who have deliberately set out to look ridiculous.
Who would want to look like that on a day to day basis? Someone who is mentally ill, I think.
More evidence that these people need psychiatric help, or institutionalising, not a ‘sex change’.
These people believe in their own delusion, and expect others to do the same, and this is what happens when they dont, correct about one thing, MH issues, and obviously a danger to others to start with, should’ve been locked up before.
