The Filipino entered Britain as a man several years ago but underwent the health service-backed gender reassignment procedure to become a woman last year.
After the trans surgery, the migrant’s pronouns were changed from “Mr” to “Miss” in official Home Office immigration papers.

I think it’s a good idea and in fact I think we should make it compulsory for all fighting age male migrants arriving on dinghies: a choice of sex change or deportation.
Whichever NHS professionals were involved in this decision should have the cost of the surgery deducted from their salary, so that it becomes a gift from them rather than the taxpayer, especially if any of the refering NHS staff were also involved in the treatment eventually provided by the private hospital. Life choice surgery should not be part of the NHS offering and definitely not for people not born and bred in the UK.

My guess would be that he’s now going to get refugee status on the grounds that he might otherwise have to face ‘prejudices’ in the Phillipines.
