Marco Rubio Says Mass Migration is “a Crisis Destabilising the West”
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has warned Europe’s leaders that mass migration is “a crisis destabilising the West” and that America does not want its allies “shackled by shame”. The Mail has the details.
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday morning, Rubio claimed the West has “opened our doors” to an “unprecedented wave of mass migration” as he appealed to Europe to be “proud” of its culture and Christian heritage.
But he also struck a somewhat conciliatory tone in parts, saying that America and Europe “belong together” and said the continent is one of the US’s “cherished allies and oldest friends”.
“We will always be a child of Europe,” he added, to applause from the crowd.
Among those present at the conference is British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, alongside around 50 world leaders. …
Addressing “mass migration” during his speech this morning, Rubio said: “Mass migration is not, was not, some fringe concern of little consequence.
“It was and continues to be a crisis that is transforming and destabilising societies all across the west.”
He added: “Controlling who and how many people enter our countries, this is not an expression of xenophobia, it is not hate. It is a fundamental act of national sovereignty.’”
He said failing to do so would be a “fundamental abdication” of “duty”, and described migration as an “urgent threat to the fabric of our societies and to the survival of our civilisation itself”.
Elsewhere in his wide-ranging address, which spoke to the history of the United States, the US Secretary of State said: “We want allies who can defend themselves, so that no adversary will ever be tempted to test our collective strength. This is why we do not want our allies to be shackled by guilt and shame.
“We want allies who are proud of their culture and of their heritage, who understand that we are heirs to the same great and noble civilisation, and who together with us are willing and able to defend it.
“And this is why we do not want allies to rationalise the broken status quo, rather than reckon with what is necessary to fix it. For we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West’s managed decline.”

The only disappointment came at the end, when an oily EU official pretended to offer a few questions from the audience, but then went prattling on with the usual EU Warmongering about Ukraine, carefully avoiding everything Marco Rubio had said about Mass Immigration and outsourcing to the Third World. It was disgraceful, just as if Nagging Warmonger Ursula had been spewing all the usual stuff in support of Whining Warmonger Dictator Zelensky the Weasel.
Isn’t it strange how all the Globalist Traitor EU leaders are so keen to defend Ukrainian national borders and sovereignty, but sneer at anyone who supports the sovereignty and national borders of western nations as a “racist”?

It was not disappointing, it only made Mr. Rubio look the intelligent man that he us.
That’s very true. What came across was his total sincerity, and I thought it was a nice touch for him to mention the various Ethnic European “tribes” who brought their own traditional skills to different parts of America. I wish he had mentioned the Scandinavians who brought such wholesome prosperity to states like Minnesota and Wisconsin, but maybe he will another time. It was a wonderful speech!

This was one of the clearest, intelligent speeches ever given by an American member in the presidential cabinet. Mr. Rubio will go down in history for this speech. Did you know he was one of Trump’s choices who glided through the congressional approval process? Why, because both sides of the aisle, respected him. Hopefully, the Republicans will consider Mr.Rubio in 2028 for President. We will not find a better candidate.
I think Rubio & Vance would make a great team, and many other top officials in the news over there are doing sterling work in battling against Communist Subversives and their brainwashed violent gangs, whereas in many European countries, the Communists appear to have the upper hand. We live in interesting times…
