Transgender Canada School Shooter Was 6ft But Wanted to Be “Petite”
The transgender teenager responsible for Canada’s worst school shooting in nearly 40 years wrote online about being 6ft and his desire to be a “petite” woman as well as his fixation with guns and drugs. The Telegraph has more.
Jesse Van Rootselaar, an 18 year-old from the remote town of Tumbler Ridge who was born a male, wrote online about his 6ft frame and his desire to be a “petite” woman.
He shot dead his mother, Jennifer Strang, and his 11 year-old stepbrother on Tuesday afternoon before walking to his former school 10 minutes away and opening fire on pupils and staff, killing eight before taking his own life.
Police initially described the shooter as a “gunperson” and a “female in a dress”. They later revealed that Van Rootselaar had begun transitioning at the age of 12 and publicly identified as female.
Police have not revealed a motive, but posts retrieved by the Telegraph from the shooter’s deleted social media accounts reveal a troubled teenager with mental health issues and difficulties transitioning to become a woman.
Van Rootselaar, who described himself as “mtf” in posts (shorthand for male-to-female), recorded a video of himself in October 2023 firing a high-powered Desert Eagle handgun at a shooting range and shared his footage on a forum for other transgender people interested in guns.
In other posts sent to transgender communities, he asked “do I have a good build type for HRT [hormone replacement therapy]?”
“Any advice is appreciated, should I put on weight or anything? Work out?”
In another post dated March 31st 2020, he wrote in a message to a transgender group: “I’m trans MtF, I’m pre-HRT 15yo, I’m super skinny, so that sometimes makes me feel kinda good!”
“But I’m Pre-HRT and my expectations are minimal for chest growth, and I’m 6ft tall! Why can’t I be petit an [sic] smol [small]?”
Police have said it was “too early to say” whether there was any correlation between Van Rootselaar identifying as transgender and the shooting, and admitted that the motive for the killings may never be known.

Another confused child badly let down by those around him and by the medical ‘professionals’ who experimented with his health and well-being. They all played their part in this dreadful occurrence.
Fair comment here. If he was showing signs of being mentally unwell years beforehand, why have shedloads of firearms knocking about the house? Even if they hid the keys to the cabinets I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before he could get his hands on one;
”What I do not understand is why the family continued to encourage him to play with guns while knowing full well he was a weird, violent kid with major behavioral issues. They knew it from when he was like 7. And yet kept lockers full of guns in the house with him.”
I read elsewhere that the weapons were removed by law enforcement but were subsequently returned on the instructions of a court.
The dead were failed by just about everybody.
Yes, were it not for the murder of his innocent school victims, I would have sympathy for this confused young man. Those around him, who facilitated, even encouraged his disorder should be questioned for their role in this mass murder. That incudes politicians who promote environments where such things are considered “normal”.
Will it give Streeting pause to reconsider the “trial” of dangerous drugs on minors? I doubt that.

You can see a photo of him when he was younger in the Mail article below, and it doesn’t resemble the photo used by DS on the above left at all. So I think there’s pictures of a completely innocent individual being circulated;

It’s a strange world we live in. Someone says they are a woman because they think they are a woman even though they are a man, but can’t be small because they are tall. Can’t they just identify as small?
To paraphrase Jordan Peterson, not dealing with an issue early only makes it worse later – lots of lives could have been saved if they treated his mental illness rather than pander to his request.
Another mentally ill tranny pervert, high on drugs, demented, shoots up kids in the school. The reason why this is news is that this is the 10th? such shooting in the past 1-2 yrs.

But there was no more chance of that happening than this obese man becoming a petite woman.
Someone should have told him the truth when he was young and helped him come to terms with it, instead of feeding him lies. Perhaps then he wouldn’t have committed mass murder.
The BBC very much glosses over that the shooter identified as a woman. It gets two sentences, that’s all.

It is blindingly obvious, the trans condition is a mental health issue, and often caused by the state through various agencies. It needs to be treated, not encouraged.
