More Migrants Arrive in Britain Under Starmer Than Any Other PM as Hundreds Land Over Weekend
More small boat migrants have arrived during Sir Keir Starmer’s time in Downing Street than under any other Prime Minister, figures show, as hundreds more landed over the weekend. The Mail has the story.
With 219 migrants reaching the UK on Sunday, Sir Keir’s total hit 65,922, overtaking the previous high of 65,811 under Boris Johnson.
The record under Sir Keir has been reached in just over 19 months, compared with three years under Johnson.
The Channel crisis has now entered its ninth year.
The first small boat crossing was recorded on January 31st 2018, and by the end of that year then home secretary Sajid Javid declared it a “major incident”.
The total number of migrants to have reached Britain now stands at more than 193,000.
One of Sir Keir’s first acts in office after the 2024 General Election was scrapping the previous government’s Rwanda asylum deal.
The programme had been designed to deter crossings – and save lives – by sending migrants to the east African country to claim asylum there rather than here.
Labour’s flagship policy is a ‘one in, one out’ deal with France which allows a small number of migrants to be sent back across the Channel.
However, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood admitted to MPs last week that the deal has “obviously not dented the numbers yet”.
She also revealed that so far 367 migrants have been brought into the UK under the reciprocal terms of the treaty and only 305 have been removed.
The scheme has “probably not” affected migrants’ decisions to cross the Channel, she said, and they “may well be banking on it not working or not being able to be scaled up”.
She also declined to give a commitment that Labour’s asylum reforms will start to see a fall in the number of small boat arrivals by next year.
There were 41,472 small boat crossings last year compared with 36,816 in 2024.

It’s going to be interesting to see the reaction (there will be none) from the Left. They have a strange obsession with modern Japan, anime weebs and cat ears… Wonder if they’ll even accept that the Japanese are proud and patriotic.
A country/civilisation of contrasts – nutty, charming, rebuilt their country from ashes. I would not like to live there but I get the impression that many fewer of them hate their own country and people than for example many of our fellow citizens here (and I am talking about the natives).

Offenders are exploiting a loophole by renouncing citizenship, meaning UK cannot make them stateless, and Pakistan is refusing to take them.
Simple, put the torn up passport in a tough sealed bag then pop rivet it to an offensive part of the deportee. Bag them in something usually used for a dead body, put them in the pressurised and heated baggage compartment and then pitch them out on the tarmac in Lahore or Karachi.

The Establishment is doing this deliberately. I fully expect, during the BRINO negotiations, we have been secretly signed up to “take our fair share” and that fact is kept quiet via a super injunction.

Especilly in the light of the declared aim to make the countryside “more white” FFS!
These are criminals, invaders. So why is it not possible to send a number of well publicised messages to the areas they launch from stating that from such and such a date,
any attempt to cross the channel in one of these boats, a force of drones will be used to capsize the boats either on launch or whilst in the sea. This sounds very hard I realise but things are now at the point where these invaders are a larger army than our own.
It will only take the capsizing of one or two boats as they launch to form the deterrant.
secondly the French should send in their army to clear the woods, put the invaders into a detention centre and deport.
surely the drones could puncture all the boats before they are loaded and launched whilst on the shore?
Only risking upsetting the French is at stake here.
What SHOULD have happened when BoJo became PM, when Sunak became PM and when Sir Kneel became PM they should have given Macron an ultimatum … YOU MUST deploy the French Military against the Criminal Gangs operating in the Calais region, eliminate all of them and move all the migrants away from that area, by a certain date; or the UK will deploy our military there.
Just because Macron has to bow down to the EU and commit civilisation suicide, we here in the UK should not have to put up with France’s stupidity.
How about mini-subs with sharp fins to go under the boats and hole them on the edge of French waters. if the French try to bring the scum here then torpedo their ship. Or we could send frogmen in to attach limpet mines to their ships and sink them.

And how on earth have they managed to bring more in under the scheme than they have removed? Surely that’s at least one thing they should be able to control? Far from “failing to dent the numbers”, the scheme is actually making things worse.
I was surprised to learn that the British government has used taxpayers’ money, without the taxpayers’ permission, to amass a nation-wide “Asylum Accommodation Estate” of homes and flats, including newbuilds, in addition to hotels and army barracks, in order to house not only the Fake Dinghy mob, not one of whom have ever actually crossed the English Channel in their own vessels, but also the vast numbers of LEGAL visa-holders who suddenly claim to be “asylum seekers” after arriving LEGALLY (called “Visa-Asylum Switch” claims).
Emptying the asylum hotels only transfers them to more permanent housing, despite the fact that asylum can only be claimed in the NEAREST NEIGHBOURING COUNTRY TO YOUR OWN, which in our case, is Southern Ireland, France and Scandinavia, where there are no wars. Therefore, NO ONE can legitimately claim asylum in Britain. NO ONE.
