BREAKING: Starmer’s Communications Chief Quits as No 10 Team Crumbles

Sir Keir Starmer’s director of communications has resigned, increasing pressure on the Prime Minister as his No 10 team crumbles around him. The Telegraph has the story.

Tim Allan, who was only brought into No 10 months ago, quit just a day after Morgan McSweeney departed as chief of staff.

Allan said in a statement: “I have decided to stand down to allow a new No 10 team to be built. I wish the PM and his team every success.”

He was appointed Downing Street’s executive director of communications at the start of September under Sir Keir’s attempted ‘reset’ at No 10.

As the former deputy press secretary under Sir Tony Blair’s New Labour, Allen worked closely with Lord Mandelson.

His departure is the latest sign of the No 10 team rapidly crumbling around the Prime Minister, and will add to calls for Sir Keir to leave.

Stop Press: Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has called for Starmer to resign – the most significant figure to do so to date. “We cannot allow the failures at the heart of Downing Street to mean the failures continue here in Scotland,” he said.

He’s been an absolute cnut from the day he became PM.

That Mandelson appears to be one of the most consequential politicians of recent times.

Not sure about that. None of these people will pay any serious price – they will all land on their feet, and lead comfortable lives. Starmer may or may not carry on as PM but this will make little difference to the destruction of this country that has been going on, on and off, since 1945.

Yes, Two Tier has his comfy pension conferred by Act of Parliament to fall back on. He can probably earn some dosh providing legal advice to Britain’s enemies. I would really think the World has gone made if anyone would pay good money for him to appear as a speaker.

The world seems pretty mad to me. When he’s finished as PM let’s see what happens. If he doesn’t get speaking engagements fairly soon after I will buy you a box of Smarties.

He IS one of Britain’s enemies.

And who on earth would want to hear her opinions? Unless paid of course.

Good, I hope this travesty of a government continues to fragment and collapse, and that the snake pit will eat their own.

Unlikely, but they will all receive generous severance packages and pensions, paid for by you and me.

The hot news on GB News is that the foreigner who heads up the Scottish Labour Party is going to call on Two Tier to eff off.

How fitting that is – Sir Two-Tier hoist on Sir Bliar’s petard of a devolved Scottish Labour Party.

So after all the kow-towing and appeasement of the muzzies, it’s a muzzie who first calls for his resignation. The fifth column of pillars.
