Brilliant Konstantin!
So now the police have totally jumped the shark, they find illegals trying to leave, and stop them!
It’s like something out of monty python.
FFS.
I haven’t read the article yet but those leaving, were they attempting to escape justice ie been up to nefarious antics and due to be arrested, or previous illegal entrants who were sneaking back out?
If the latter, perhaps the country did not meet their high expectations, poor souls.
Perhaps the plod can now change tactics and focus / intervene more to reduce the marauders by apprehending those illegally crossing our borders. Perhaps the RNLI could give the police a tip off each time they assist another boatload to break the law.
22/23 here legally apparently. One has to assume they’re wanted for something, or they could simply have bought a ferry ticket, surely?
If on benefits, leaving this way means the DWP would keep paying and paying and paying………
They were “escaping” with the intention of getting a dhingy straight back because they prefer Four Star accommodation rather than ex-squaddie barracks.
Absolutely, and here’s something else that’s Pythonesque:
Welsh health ambassador – and the cost of multiculturalism – YouTube
The comments below the video are priceless, such as this one:
“A compelling argument for the full-face veil.”
Blair sends troops to carry out an illegal and wholly immoral invasion of Iraq and what happens? He goes on to a lucrative career as an international politician and some of the troops go on to be persecuted as criminals.
That, in a nutshell, is why I don’t believe in governments , states or established authority. It’s a rigged game for a small group of people to acquire power over others, exploit them and abuse them.
I had a similar thought.
‘Russia’s grinding advance in Ukraine has been slower than even many First World War offensives’ An update: ‘Government spending has reached levels that can be considered near the limit for the current state of the Russian economy’ Alexander Shirov So: ‘a window of opportunity has opened for us to employ diplomacy and begin negotiations on ending the war. This is a rock-solid fact. Everything else is a matter for discussion’ Kostiantyn Yelisieiev Consequently: ‘Russian forces….dress in our uniform….penetrate as deeply as possible…..unfurl the ‘aquafresh,’ photograph themselves with a Mavic, die on the battlefield, but Russian propaganda already has something to talk about (in peace talks)’ Whereas, in fact: ‘In 2025, the enemy has failed to achieve a single operational breakthrough…that’s precisely why they are now actively targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure and striking residential infrastructure’ And this is being enabled by China, where Britain’s Prime Minister currently is: ‘China has sent more than $10 billion…advanced technology and manufacturing equipment to Russia since the invasion of Ukraine began…..at least $4.9 billion in microchips and memory boards…for precision-guided weapons…fighter jets…$130 million in ball bearings…for aircraft construction, $97 million in mounted piezoelectric crystals used in radar systems, and $42 million worth of telescopic weapon… Read more »
Yes. Give Putin all he wants and he will temporarily stop attacking. Then when his army has been remanned and rearmed by the Chinese factories he will come back for more.
“Police stop migrants from being smuggled out of Britain”
That’s interesting… of the 23 apprehended, only one was here illegally. Why couldn’t they just buy a ferry ticket, I wonder?
I’ve never seen anyone do a ‘deep dive’ on these people, nor indeed the ones who come here legally.
What, exactly, is it they are hoping to find here and who, exactly, told them they might find it? And, what are their qualifications that might make them net contributors?
I’ve since read the article – only 1 was apprehended, all the others, who were allegedly here ‘legally’ were let go.
Surely attempting to sneak out of the country without going through customs or whatever is an offence? What were they hiding / up to?
Then again, makes me wonder if they originally entered the country illegally and the downtrodden taxpayers paid the lawyers to defend their rights to stay in the land of milk, honey and benefits 😏.
“Has Earth seen its last ‘Ice Age’?”
Is Ross Pomeroy suggesting that with his/and humanities current knowledge the earth has had its last ice age?
Earth: 4.6 billion years old up until now.
Humans appear for a blink of an eye.
Earth: at least 4 to 4.5 billion years yet to come!
And we are arrogant enough to predict such a future?
I refuse to pay any attention to Gove or those others who spent all those years supporting Blairite policies. They want us to forget all those years when they accepted and promoted them including, in particular, the supremacy of international agencies over our Parliament.
Gove has been feted even by his former wife as some sort of towering intellect yet he and they failed to stop or reverse that which he now claims to abhor.
whereas one might forgive someone who drank one too many one cannot for forgive those who had a bottle of whisky open at their desk all day long and then wonder why they were unfit to drive. A lifetime ban is in order.
I do not consider people like Gove intellectual in any way, just mediocre grifters with an occasional super trouper focused on them.
“Has Earth seen its last ‘Ice Age’?”
No. We’re going into one now.

May I add this to the Round-Up about Don Lemon & the Shrieking Leftist Gang who invaded a Minnesota church service:
