Police Officer Who Tackled Knifeman Could Be Barred From Working With Children

An award-winning police officer, sacked after arresting a knife-wielding teenager, could now be blocked from working with children. The Telegraph has the story.

Lorne Castle was dismissed for gross misconduct after tackling the masked 15 year-old suspect to the ground and holding him down while telling him to “stop screaming like a b—-”.

More than £113,000 was raised by the public to support him after his sacking.

The father of three, who was a martial arts trainer before joining the force in 2016, had planned to work as a sports coach at local schools after he was dismissed by Dorset Police.

However, when he attempted to renew his DBS check, the force provided the information about the arrest of the teenager, believing it was relevant as he wanted to work with children.

Mr Castle said that he had been told by one school, at which he had coached regularly in the past, that he was no longer welcome.

The information Dorset Police provided for the DBS check read: “Mr Castle was dismissed without notice and placed on the police barred list, which prevents him from holding any further role in policing.

“After careful consideration, we conclude that this information is relevant and ought to be disclosed to an employer, in this instance, because Mr Castle is applying to work in the child sector and he was previously dismissed from his role as a police constable due to his conduct towards a 15 year-old male.”

While it is ultimately down to the employer to determine if Mr Castle is safe to work with children, he fears the information provided by the police may make many too fearful to take a chance.

He said: “They are essentially saying that they believe I am a danger to children. That is what they are saying. All I am doing is trying to get on with my life.

“I have a family to support and just want to help my local community”. …

Serving police officers said that, following the decision, they had been mocked by drug dealers and criminals, who said if the police touched them “they would just get fired”.

Yes, I meant to write “I despise what this country has become”. But my anger got the better of me, as it often does these days.

Perhaps this is the intent.
“To produce a maximum of chaos in the culture of the enemy is our first most important step. Our fruits are grown in chaos, distrust, economic depression and scientific turmoil. At least a weary populace can seek peace only in our offered Communist State, at last only Communism can resolve the problems of the masses.”

“If we can effectively kill the national pride and patriotism of just one generation, we will have won that country. Therefore we must continue propaganda abroad to undermine the loyalty of citizens in general and of teen-agers in particular.”

The concept of national sovereignty has been immutable, indeed a sacred principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation.’

I cannot access the DT to find out for sure but it looks as if this event took place some time ago. Rules and supervision would have been under Tory authorship.

Yes, you are quite correct that it was the Tories under RISHI SUNAK.

This arrest happened on January 27, 2024, and Keir Starmer didn’t take office as Prime Minister until July 5, 2024.

It is the Civil Service, which is why there is consistency between Labour and Conservative governments.

Mr Castle was dismissed from his role as a police constable “due to his conduct towards a 15 year-old male”.
The fact that it was a masked, knife-wielding 15 year old male seems to have been deliberately ignored.

Deliberately chosen weasel words to make him look s bad as possible.

Whereas we’d actually like all our coppers to be like that.

Was the masked ‘teenager’ black or muslim ? If he was, I am only surprised that this good man was not burnt alive in the public square.

Along the Thames when we lived in London, I literally ran into the same on my jogs – many times, usually 3 or 4 them, at least 1 packing a knife. If they had attacked me and I had defended myself I would have been charged (the small gangs were non white).

Sacking the Chief Constable and some of their political underlings might have been the better solution.

Seems any rank above Chief Inspector is more political than Law and Order.

Dorset’s Chief Constable and her Deputy CC are both women. Consequently, in this equality and diversity driven society, they’re almost immune from criticism or dismissal.

Yes Chief Constable since March 2023 is Amanda Pearson who has only been in policing since 1993. Somehow she has been fastracked to Metropolitan Police Service as a Chief Officer. She was previously the National Police Chiefs’ Council lead for stop and search and programme lead for the Police Plan of Action on Inclusion and Race.
Amanda has a strong commitment to ensuring the police service is visible and connected with its “communities“providing a high quality service to victims

Not just that. They then doubled-down and ensured that he could be employed elsewhere. Their actions appear extremely vindictive.

I hope and pray that should I be attacked by a knife-wielding teenager, and a copper is standing nearby, that they have the gumption to take copious notes so as justice may be served for my death.

Should I be attacked by a knife wielding teenager I hope and pray I can react quickly enough and do the utmost damage to that teenager with any weapon I can find to hand. I certainly have no confidence in the majority of the police.

More stuff about ‘toxic’ masculinity again i think. But at the end of the day it is about priorities and reasonableness. Is what he did reasonable in the circumstances? And what are the priorities? Normally the police should be polite to the public, but not to criminals no way!

And have you noticed- a similar thing with the military. A strangling of the protective classes.

This appalling injustice is part of the Communist Globalist plan, as shown by two things:

1) “Serving police officers said that, following the decision, they had been mocked by drug dealers and criminals, who said if the police touched them “they would just get fired”.”

2) As Sceptical Steve pointed out here, “Dorset’s Chief Constable and her Deputy CC are both women. Consequently, in this equality and diversity driven society, they’re almost immune from criticism or dismissal.”

This ties in with the Marxist Frankfurt School 11-Point Plan to Destroy the West (see points 1, 2 & 8):

1.  Create Racism Offences for Whites Only.
2.  Induce Trauma through Injustice.
3.  Teach Sex and Sodomy to Children.
4.  Undermine Parents’ and Teachers’ Authority.
5.  Force Mass Immigration to Destroy Ethnic Identity.
6.  Create Confusion by Continual Change.
7.  Empty the Churches.
8.  Encourage Crime to Destabilize Society.
9.  Create Dependency on the State by Welfare Benefits.
10. Promote Drugs, Pornography and Alcoholism.
11. Encourage the Breakdown of the Family.

This is what the “teenager” had just been threatening others with, and it fell out of his pocket while PC Lorne Castle was arresting him:

Whenever I read a story like this, I shudder. How on earth a police officer doing his job can now be banned from working with children is beyond imagination. Sir, we can always use more police officers in the USA where you will receive a decent salary, and a wonderful retirement package. Small town, large city, some beautiful places to live in No or So Carolina, Florida, Georgia etc. when your own country will not support you when doing your job, it is time to leave.

Perhaps the Police and the public sector would have been happier if the knife wielding 15 year old had been allowed to stab a few people. seems like hurty word prevention trumps a bit of knofe killing every time.
Remember folks if you “see it, don’t say it, and don’t sort it” that way you won’t end up as the bad guy.

And that is precisely why so many stabbing, drug dealers thefts, because the little bas%%%%s know they can get away with it, How this country has fallen.
