Wes Streeting Says He’s “Not Comfortable” With Puberty Blockers Trial and Claims Trans Activists Have Attacked His Office Three Times

Wes Streeting has said he is “not comfortable” with a clinical trial into puberty blockers as he claimed “threatening” trans activists have attacked his constituency office on three occasions. The Mail has more.

The Health Secretary said the windows of his office in Ilford had been smashed and he has received “all sorts of threats” from campaigners since the trial was launched last month.

The clinical trial is taking place for children as young as 10 based on a recommendation by the Cass Review into children’s gender care.

The review concluded that the quality of research claiming to show the benefits of puberty blockers for youngsters with gender dysphoria was “poor”, but that proper research should be completed.

Around 226 children and young people could be recruited as part of a larger study, known as Pathways, which aims to “explore how puberty suppressing hormones impact the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of young people with gender incongruence”.

Streeting made a ban on puberty blockers indefinite in December last year, but said today he is “trying really hard as a politician” not to block clinical advice from experts who are “far more qualified than me”.

Speaking to LBC radio on Friday, the Health Secretary said the Cass Review uncovered “utterly shocking levels of unprofessionalism, lack of proper clinical oversight and the prescription of puberty blockers without evidence”.

He added: “But Hilary Cass also recommended that we do a proper study.

“The Pathway study involves a whole range of treatments and care, including therapeutics or mental health support, but it also included a trial on this puberty blockers thing.

“I’m not comfortable, candidly, about it.”

Mr Streeting said his concerns involve the safety of children, ensuring they receive effective and evidence-based care and that clinical advice is followed. …

In August, the Ilford North MP’s office had its windows smashed and the words “child killer” daubed across its front in graffiti.

Trans Bash Back, a “trans-led direct action project”, claimed responsibility for the stunt in a post on the BlueSky social media platform.

It claimed online it refuses to “sit and watch as trans young people have their healthcare stripped from them”.

Worth reading in full.

Recommending a trial of puberty blockers for children was Dr Cass’s one big misstep. The trial should be stopped, of course. But given it was in the Cass Review that may not be politically feasible. In which case, we just have to hope the study is done honestly and concludes that puberty blockers should never be given to children (though why you should need a trial to ‘discover’ something as self-evident as that beats me).

If he’s not comfortable with it, why doesn’t he put an end to it.
He’s the health minister.
Who else is supposed to stop it?

That would imply admitting that it shouldn’t ever have been started and taking responsibility for that. As it stands, Streeting can only do public damage control exercise while secretly praying to the God of Sexual Mutilaiton he has chosen to dedicate himself to for some kind of miracle which is obviously not going to happen but maybe, it’ll be possible to sit that out somehow, eg, if all the children die by lucky coincidence before the long-term effects become known.

Cass left the door open for such unethical trials to go ahead by stating the above, when what she should’ve done is conclude that there is zero evidence to support the justification of inflicting irreversible physical damage on young developing bodies when the problem is 100% psychological, not physical. No child is born in the wrong body and there’s no such thing as a ‘trans child’.
This ideology is completely society driven and i think has all the hallmarks of mass formation psychosis. Sadly, it’s the parents and other adults in a position of trust who are most affected. No 10yr old child is going to persist with the notion they’re ‘trans’ or ‘non-binary’ unless it’s being programmed into them and affirmed by external influences. Giving kids ad lib access to social media, where their concerns and confusion is validated, is another significant driver. It’s literal brainwashing.

This is spot on.
Indeed these people worship The God of Sexual Mutilation.

Experimentally poisoning children to stop their bodies from developing naturally to find out what’s then going to happen instead ought be stopped immediately. This is absolutely horrible and anybody who supports it should be barred from working with children forever and be held personally liable for whatever damages the victims of these experiments might have to suffer.

If the mad transers actually believed their medical experiments had the slightest chance of being benefical, they’d volunteer for this. But I bet they’ve actually carefully exempted themselves from any liability¹.

¹ I strongly suspect this, but have no information which would confirm it.

Perhaps Trump Derangement Syndrome is too narrowly focused? You could argue that many people are sensible and have different opinions but a few tip over into Liberal Derangement Syndrome expecting that their opinions justify violent actions – over trans issues, climate change, net zero, racism, sexism, open borders, veganism, and of course Trump.

I’m just always staggered that any sane parent would volunteer their kid to be a lab rat for drug trials. It makes me wonder what the back story is and what kind of people they are. Mind, I used to say the exact same thing about the Covid death jab trials, where they went right down the age groups so that they were experimenting on 6mnth old babies.

I think the expression you are looking for is “deranged psychopaths”.

Talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. Jog on, Streeting. You are there to ACT, not flap your gums.

Yes, exactly.
He’s not comfortable…?
This soft-pedaling, barely audible muttering, slight raising of eyebrows is all we get from the health minister as a reaction to the news that children will be experimented on and chemically castrated…?
No.
Let me tell you, health minister, what your reaction should be if you weren’t a pathetic wimp and you cared about these children: abhorrence, disgust and rage.
You would express this clearly in public and did everything you possibly could to stop it from happening.
But no. You just feel a bit uncomfortable. Pebble in your shoe.

Medical experiments on children are not clinical trials they are medical experiments on children. Mutilating children’s bodies with drugs is not therapeutic, it is destructive. One can only imagine the disastrous effect this kind of intervention has on the complexities of the endocrine system. For life.

I think people could do a lot worse than show kids footage of detransitioners who talk about their personal experiences in falling prey to this destructive ideology and how they’ve lived to regret their decision to embark on such a mentally and physically damaging journey. They could also show them footage of all the more graphic stuff, like the post-surgical scars of a teenage girl who’s had her breasts removed or the harvesting of tissue from her forearm in order to create a phallus. Plenty of that sort of thing online. In fact, if they were to show that kind of thing in schools as a way to educate and actively dissuade kids, as opposed to encourage them, should they wish to go down that route in the future, I bet it would be a successful method and it’d put many right off. Kids need a dose of shock therapy and faced with the cold, hard facts. Instead, in schools, it’s shamefully the opposite and they’re actively being groomed by trusted adults into joining a dangerous cult. They are being told bogus information as if it’s the Gospel which is completely at odds with the indisputable facts of human biology.… Read more »

Peter Tatchell was vigorously defending this vile principle (although the discussion was centred on the preliminary medication of children) yesterday on GB News to an incredulous Nana Aqua. His was a mind totally captured by evil, so obsessed is he by the belief that “human rights” mean the right to destroy the lives of innocent youngsters.

I wouldn’t expect a paedo apologist to have the safety and welfare of kids as a priority. Child safeguarding and protection from dangerous adults won’t be high on his list of concerns. I still cannot fathom why that noxious creep is given airtime on GBN. Surely he’s more BBC material.

For the ‘balance’ required by Ofcom. Simply being right is not sufficient.

Here are two videos of youngsters who went through the physical transition process and then very much regretted it:

I expect Dr Mengele would claim that he, too, was uncomfortable about experimenting on children.

Personally, I see no difference between him and Streeting.

Knowing how history remembers Mengele one would think this is a fate to be avoided. A plentiful supply of children provided by the state for experimentation – if we don’t save them, who will?
