Majority of Young French Muslims Put Sharia Above National Laws

A majority of young French Muslims rank sharia above the laws of the Republic and more than a third sympathise with Islamist ideology, according to a new poll. The Telegraph has the story.

Some 57% of Muslims aged 15 to 24 believe Islamic law should outrank French legislation in areas such as ritual slaughter of animals,Β marriage and inheritance.

It is thought to be a steep rise from three decades ago, when just 36% of French Muslims aged 18 to 24 felt that sharia should take precedence.

FranΓ§ois Kraus, the historian who wrote the study, suggested the findings pointed to β€œa process of re-Islamisation” driven by younger generations.

He said: β€œThis survey very clearly outlines the profile of a Muslim population increasingly structured around rigourist religious norms and tempted by an Islamist political project.”

β€œFundamentalism has won over the minds of more than one in three Muslims,” said Mr Kraus. Some 38% of those surveyed approved of all or part of ‘Islamist’ positions in 2025,Β double the proportion who expressed such viewsΒ in 1998.

The historian told the Telegraph: β€œThere isΒ a need for radicalismΒ which is expressed through a much stronger religious rigour… which is not limited to faith, but translates into a desire to govern society, or at least the behaviour of Muslims in France, according to Islamic precepts.

β€œIt also translates into a very violent gender separatism. You have 45% of young Muslims who refuse to ‘faire la bise’,” Mr Kraus said, referring to the customary French cheek-kiss greeting.

Sharia has provisions thatΒ are incompatible with French law, including unequal inheritance for women, corporal punishment for crimes and strict limits on freedom of expression and sexuality.

The report also revealed a dramatic increase in Mosque attendance, which rose from 7% in 1989 to 40% today. Meanwhile, strict fasting during Ramadan jumped from 51 to 83% and the proportion ofΒ young women wearing the veilΒ has nearly tripled.

Social habits have also changed: alcohol consumption among Muslims under 25 has fallen from nearly 30% in 2011 to just 12% today. Only 12% of young Muslims now want Islam to adapt to modernity, down from 41% in 1998.

France has Europe’s largest Muslim cohort, making up around 7% of the French population up from less than 1% 40 years ago.

Then chuck them out. If any westerner was to argue for Christian laws to take precedence over Muslim laws in any Muslim country they would be chucked out, or worse. Western culture has been hard won and involved the repelling of numerous Islamic invasions.

Islam is a fundamentalist religion. Christianity or western culture did not and does not make Muslims fundamentalists.

Also from the Telegraph article:

“A confidential report presented to Emmanuel Macron warned that Islamist networks were practising β€œentryism”, infiltrating schools, associations, and local institutions in order to β€œchange them from within”.

Fait accompli.

Of course the Muslims do. The Umma. They are Mohammedans not French.

When they take over France they will simply eradicate secular legislation.

Should happen around 2050-2060. After a few decades of sex and war Jihad.

Had European leaders seriously wanted to stop the Islamic invasion/Great Replacement, as opposed to facilitating it, then France would have done something radical after the Bataclan terrorist attack, but they just kept on importing, same as the UK could have done something to stop the hostiles arriving after the terrible 7/7 London bombings, a full 20 years ago, but they kept on allowing them in. It’s not that they *can’t* do it but that they *won’t*. They’re not powerless at all, it’s because they’re globalist, treasonous oikophobe gits. Many terrorists ( as well as rapists and murderers ) are second generation migrants, born here to foreign parents, so if that doesn’t prove that loads are incapable of integration, Islam doesn’t belong here ( and poses a genuine threat ) and that multiculturalism is an epic fail then I don’t know what does. An excerpt from Jim’s post regarding this; ”France is showing us what happens when a country loses its grip on who it is. Look across the Channel and you see the end point of choices Britain is only beginning to face. What’s happening in Paris isn’t a local problem. It’s a Western warning. And it proves what happens… Read more Β»

As far as I can see things have been going downhill ever since women got the vote.

Of course correlation is not causation.

The mental gymnastics misogynists have to perform in order to blame women for all of society’s ills.
Yet another bitter man, sat behind the safety of his screen, stewing in resentment because the facts don’t support his narrative, so maintaining delusion it is.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
When did France last have a female leader? How inconvenient that Macron is yet another man who has deliberately facilitated his country going to rack and ruin. But keep blaming those ladies in HR, eh?🀑

I rather think we are locked in to share the fate of France, save some political cataclysm. Just look at basically any “British” city.

The Muslim tail wants to wag the dog, in both France and the UK.

And it aims to become the top dog.

The European (inc British) “Elite” are facilitating it.

Why? Eurasia.

Divide and rule. They’re arrogant enough to think they will continue to rule.

I don’t understand why anyone would think those in France are any different.

That picture sickens me. It’s totally alien.

In fact, I find it repulsive.
