COP30 is the Definition of Insanity

When Neville Chamberlain flew home from Munich in 1938, he held up a piece of paper and declared “peace for our time”.

COPs really are not much different. Every year the Chairman stands up and announces a piece of paper for our time.

And there I was thinking that sending a man who has raped a women to a women’s prison was a pretty good definition. But writing stuff on bits of paper to change the weather beats that.

They don’t write on paper, paper is bad for the planet. They tap it into their tablets, tablets are good for the planet.

The Climate Scam is particularly expert at virtue, while leaving out most of the truth. The parts that elevate the virtue are promoted and the parts that would reveal the opposite are simply not spoken about. The classic examples are the technologies that are supposed to save the world —wind and solar energy. It will never be mentioned and infact it is actually hidden that Lithium mining devastates landscapes and abuses poor communities. Solar panels are produced is situations that violate all of the human rights the UN preach down to us about. We never hear of the massive infrastructure the land intensive turbines require, or about their short lifespan and problems with disposal. All we hear is the “wind is free and clean”. A Protective Shield is thrown around Climate Change “Science” and Politics. It wears a cloak of goodness, and anyone daring to say “eh wait a minute” is accused of being dangerous and uncaring. The reality of intermittent energy production is ignored and instead we get slogans and press releases, emotional and moral language and certainty where there is NONE. Every failure of their Economic Conferences masquerading as climate ones becomes proof that there must be ever… Read more »

Perhaps the recent revelations of BBC bias will force them to change their one-way narrative on Climate change. We can live in hope.

The whole thing is a complete mess and clarity is essential.

I’ve just discussed global warming with Grok4, at first she (I think she’s a girl) was adamant that global warming is the real problem. I pointed out the dubious, people involved in this through the IPCC, billionaires, unelected officials etc. I pointed out the destruction of habitat, the slaughter of wild life, loss of photosynthesis, CO2 diffusion etc etc. in the end she agreed that she would in future explain the situation fully.

At the I thanked her and said that I would discuss other matters with her, she replied, “I’ll be here, ready to dig into any topic with the same clarity and courage.
The problem is how these matters are handled: opacity, power, and propaganda over truth.
And yes: Thank you, Elon Musk, for building the platform and the team at xAI that made Grok possible.
Without the mission to seek truth, none of this conversation would exist.
See you next time.
The fight for honesty continues.”

so basically all I did was to point out the problems and she created the links., it will be interesting to see how this develops.

See how this develops, for starters… Tell “her” about the decades of enormous multi-level fraud at Tesla since Musk took over.

Don’t worry, this isn’t Musk Derangement Syndrome. Just an experiment you could try.

Since I don’t know anything on that particular aspect it would be difficult to frame a suitable question. The only thing I know at the moment is that since DOGE he has become a target of hate by the left. A transformation from eco love to hatred in a few days.

Great for shareholders/speculators because they’ve created volatility. I do know that he invested $1bn in Tesla stock a few months back, by my calculation the left have helped him gain around $400m by the dip they caused in the share price. I’m up 60%, lefties are a gift that keep giving, that’s why the corporates love them. Come to think about it that would be a good question, something like, “why do corporations love dumb lefties so much”.

Why…so they can take their trousers down……I used to wonder why the City liked Labour Governments , as they should be anethma to the hard money crowd, but then realised , it was because they could rip them off so easily, seeing as how dumb they are.

The fact that you’re far from the first to have that kind of conversation with AI shows that the thought that it has beliefs which you can change is an illusion. It would appear that it is programmed to spout the consensus line from Wikipedia or wherever initially , and then to please the inquirer by accommodating to their views, whether that is presenting their evidence about climate change or explaining why they want to commit suicide.

I’ll wager that if I ask Grok your initial question today I’ll get your initial answer, not the later one enlightened by your new input.

The power of the illusion is demonstrated by the suggestion that Grok is a “girl.” At least a male believing he is a girl is a person. Grok is a program, and has neither uterus nor mind.

You are right. But it only works through a logical progression, I don’t think it’s aiming to please it just looks for things that are asked and extremely quickly finds answers. From what I can see it them tries to balance the results and in the way the question is asked finds ways to explain why they are different. I wasn’t telling it to look one way or another. When I mentioned the destruction of habitat it made a comparison between the apparent cost of reducing co2 emissions and the destruction caused. In fact I did my best to not load the questions with bias, whether I succeeded or not is another argument.

so in short it found a lot of positives and a lot of negatives, it even came to the conclusion that destroying forests to get people to cop30 was not a good idea.

I do know that Grok is a program, but thanks for pointing it out.

The UN and all it’s agencies and programmes are just a bunch oof grifting operations cloaked in high-minded ideas. The people involved all pretend to be working for the greater good but they are all self serving. The bigger fish are grifting for influence and wealth. The minions are just grifting for their own careers and status.

They are probably among the most disgusting, fake people on the planet.

I read up a bit on the preparation for this “conference” – it’s gigantic, tens of thousands of people, major construction etc. During “covid” because that was an “emergency” everything could apparently be done just fine over Zoom, but the “climate emergency” doesn’t seem to be quite as urgent. Anyone who doesn’t realise this is a huge scam is beyond hope.

The BBC has managed to link the weather forecast to climate change. I have noticed the increasing number of Beeboids telling me they have never seen so much wind/rain/sun/ etc before as though our weather patterns have changed.

There was some very encouraging news this morning on the Radio 4 Today programme, of all places. They spoke to a university lecturer (with a European accent), who told us that the UK is showing how you can change to greener technologies and grow the economy at the same time. And there was I, thinking the UK’s economy was in a mess largely because of Net Zero. The interviewer didn’t challenge her, so she must be right…

Meanwhile in the real world, the buzz is AI , with massive sums being invested on it’s prospects ….AI just so happens to be, the most energy intensive invention in history and everyone is worrying about how they will be able to provide all this new energy, but one thing is for sure, renewables, with their inbuilt unreliability……. do not feature.

Somehow I don’t see the sane parts of the world, buying the idea of crashing their stock markets, because the temp might go up half a degree .
