Chris Baylis seems to illustrate the general confused and weak approach to politics which has got us to where we are; although maybe he is on the ‘right’ of this confusion. Surely the point of a representative democracy is to avoid the tyranny of the majority, even if that majority is only localised. This is precisely what our representatives have not been doing because this point of reciprocity has not been reinforced. Islam is basically incompatible with a secular free reciprocal public space. It is a political as well as a religious ideology which is only at peace when everyone is under it’s political yoke. The basic fact is that Western governments will have to push back against creeping Islamisation by enforcing reciprocity. I.e Basic rights are given, not taken. And Islam (and wokism) will have to go through a reformation to become compatible with this or be banned as being incompatible with this basic standard of reciprocity which all free civilised society is ultimately dependent upon. Yes of course you should fight against the freedom of organisation to speak and act against banning your freedom, these are effectively terror groups even if they are not using direct violence. Wokism needs reform because if you disagree it will de bank you and therefore generally deny you reciprocal access to the public space.
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil, was the totem by which man’s freewill responsibility and dignity is set. The significance of this that it illustrates God setting up a true free secular space for his interaction with man . Any ideology whether it was Catholic, puritan, islamic communist, facist or woke which denies this kind of free reciprocating space has the wrong end of the stick, and will enforce all sorts of abomination as a result, and they all have.
Sorry, Laurie, but Maccabi Tel Aviv have a far less hooligan reputation than the likes of Galatasaray, Napoli or Millwall.

Dutch police told their British counterparts that over 200 Maccabi Tel Aviv football fans who wreaked havoc in Amsterdam in November 2024 were “linked to the Israel Defense Forces [IDF]”, and that hundreds more were “experienced fighters”, “highly organised” and “intent on causing serious violence”.
