Farage is comparable to Hitler, Zarah Sultana suggests

I think Zarah is a silly child who should spend time with some history books. Unfortunately, this ‘attack line’ appears to be all the way across the left. It will undoubtedly leave us further polarised. What makes a civilised society imo, is the willingness to compromise, to find solutions. What sort of society is it where one side has absolute confidence that they are 100% right and the other half are 100% wrong.

Poppy sellers called racist while raising flags for Remembrance Day

Yet we are reminded regularly, as if it were needed, that the contribution of black and brown people who fought on the allied side in WW2 should be recognised. Funny how they pick on people who have bravely fought against real racists, fascists and Nazi’s.

We even have memorials, opened with much acclaim by the usual old media, to recognise the contribution of selected social groups. I know of no memorial exclusively for white men and nor should there be any factional memorials at all, save for particular battles or regiments’ contribution.

“More than half of UK businesses are changing the way they approach DEI policies and practices because of the Trump administration’s criticism of the ‘woke’ agenda, reports the Guardian.”

I guess this is mainly about large firms. I help run an SME and I cannot fathom how anyone running a small to medium size firm would have the energy to even think about a “DEI” policy (unless under pressure to have one from customers). Too busy trying to stay afloat/make money/find staff who want to do a day’s work/trying to provide the goods and services your customers want.

I’m in the same position ToF. We do not and never have considered DEI as part of our decision making process, or operations. This week I had one of our clients send me a booklet containing their Ethical and Sustainability policy. 16 bloody pages, and asked me to sign to agree to uphold their standards and policies. Not to confirm that we trade within the law and the regulations for our industry, but to uphold their policies.

Naturally I signed and returned it, despite an overwhelming urge to tell them to piss off. Much of what they were asking doesn’t even apply to us as an SME/microbusiness. I wouldn’t waste 5 minutes on it.

Yeah, we’ve come under pressure from clients in that same way. I think we now have some sort of DEI policy that doesn’t mention D, E or I – just a load of (true) waffle about how we treat our staff decently.

What’s one more dangerous Egyptian sexual predator, free to roam willy nilly and prey on unsuspecting members of the public? I wonder what the odds are of him being a Coptic Christian?

”A failed asylum seeker who entered the UK on a small boat used a translation app to threaten his victim before he raped her, a court has heard.
Moustafa Elbohy, 31, allegedly attacked a woman he has encountered at Charing Cross railway station in London in the early hours of September 20.
The Egyptian national, who entered to country in June having crossed the Channel in a dinghy, is said to have been at the train station with friends from the taxpayer-funded migrant hotel where he was staying.
The victim is believed to have been trying to catch a train home after a work night out with colleagues.”

They don’t need to build more houses, they need to build more detention centres. I’ve said this a million times but if you let unvetted men from incompatible cultures ( well, it’s really just Islamic countries, let’s be real ) roam freely, nobody knowing their whereabouts or taking responsibility for them, then bad things will happen. It’s inevitable. And what I’m really sick of reading, not just in the UK but other European countries, is the fact many that commit serious crimes are found to have had their asylum claims rejected and should have been, or are due to be, deported. Surely, given they’ve entered a country illegally, these criminals should be under lock and key, they should NOT have the freedom to wander around communities, hunting for victims or generally making nuisances of themselves. Especially if they’ve had their claims for asylum rejected, aren’t they immediately deemed a ‘flight risk’ and so there’s even more reason to lock them up so authorities know their whereabouts before they get deported. It’s just a massive shitshow, as Lee Anderson reveals; ”It gets even worse.   I’ve just received another response to a question I asked the Home Office, asking if they… Read more »

“Man freed from prison under early release scheme charged with murder”

That makes the government direct accomplices to murder and should be tried as such, Someone signed the realise papers!

Yes, Dinger, but one must avoid being labelled a ”bigot” at all costs, and therefore not acknowledge the fact most stabby men are actually not white Christians. I personally found these tips very helpful;

”The satirical @TheBabylonBee
have this biting video on Britain. It offers advice in avoiding “bigotry, racism & Islamophobia, while being raped, stabbed & blown up.”

This really is best takedown of Islam.”

From over your way, Dinger, so you’re maybe already aware of this incident. A man having a psychotic episode stabbed another man 8 times with a penknife but only gets a suspended sentence. A quick search shows his name originates from the DR of Congo. It’s the dangerous criminals and basket cases that they’re importing, as the evidence all around us seems to demonstrate;

”A man who stabbed a passenger in an unprovoked attack at Dublin Airport in a “cry for help” has been given a suspended sentence on strict conditions.
Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard that Kasonga Mbuyi (52) stabbed a German man in an unprovoked attack. He was seen behaving erratically before the attack and was not wearing shoes.
Mbuyi, with an address at Clare Street, Limerick, was suffering from a paranoid delusion at the time and has since been diagnosed with schizophrenia with previous cannabis misuse. He told gardai he carried out the unprovoked and random assault as a “cry for help”.

Same borough as Wayne Broadhurst was murdered, same nationality of attacker. Armed police response so obviously something very serious went down; ”In West Drayton, two miles from Hillingdon where Afghan Safi Dawood is charged with the murder of Wayne Broadhurst, another two Afghan men have been arrested by armed police.” https://x.com/DaveAtherton20/status/1983964421975060776 ”It seems when asylum seekers move from hotels to HMOs their behaviour does not improve. Wayne Broadhurst was murdered, yesterday 2 arrested in West Drayton by armed police, multiple assaults on women, there seems no end. Because of its close proximity to Heathrow the borough of Hillingdon houses thousands. Follower Maddie Clarke notes there are 8 pages of HMOs listed in the borough of Hillingdon. Since 2020 there have been 4,000 anti-social behaviour complaints linked to HMOs in Hillingdon. Last night on BBC Question Time Islamist, Faiza Shasheen said: “This idea that somehow we should be scared of all asylum seekers… many of them are just normal people trying to escape very horrible, difficult situations”. Don’t insult our intelligence Faiza, don’t gaslight us.Many are scum.” David Atherton I bet this is going on every day and isn’t widely reported on. It’s left to ‘citizen journalists’ and members of the… Read more »

As appalling as this might be the real issue is the 17% of the population who need to be sectioned.

May I add this to the Round-Up? Remember how the Japanese manufacturers of Horizon were able to secretly manipulate local British Post Office transactions remotely from Japan, causing widespread suffering, false accusations and even suicides among British postmasters?

Well guess what now?

And may I also add that yesterday was the 508th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses to the door of Wittenburg Church, on October 31, 1517, a seismic moment in the Protestant Reformation: one monk challenging the overwhelming power of the Vatican.

From the splendid movie “Luther” in 2003, here is one of Martin Luther’s hymns, for which he wrote both text and music, stunningly arranged here by English composer Richard Harvey for the movie soundtrack. The whole soundtrack is superb. In fact, the whole movie is superb.
