‘A drug dealer from Leicestershire carried out “a sustained campaign of terrorism and sabotage on UK soil” in support of Russia, the Old Bailey has heard.

Dylan Earl, 21, is set to become the first person to be sentenced under the new National Security Act, which carries a maximum term of life in prison.

He has previously pleaded guilty for his role organising an arson attack on a warehouse in London in March 2024 which contained equipment bound for Ukraine.

Earl’s barrister Paul Hynes KC described his client as “a sad individual” and compared him to the deluded fictional character Walter Mitty.

He said Earl “led a rather nihilistic existence which involved taking drugs” and ‘saw the world through the desperate, pathetic and delusional prism of online gaming’

‘Three men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of assisting Russia’s foreign intelligence…Anyone who might be contacted by and tempted into carrying out criminal activity on behalf of a foreign state here in the U.K. should think again….This kind of activity will be investigated…There are potentially very serious consequences for those who are convicted.’

British people who travel to Russia on business are approached by British security in an attempt to recruit them, and no doubt they do it in Russia too.. Every country is at it.

But since YOU post on almost no other subject here than SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE, couldn’t the same be said for YOU? That you are assisting Ukraine’s foreign intelligence, spewing endless propaganda? And of Unelected Zelensky being given the exact same ceremonial welcome by the king to Windsor yesterday as he gave to Elected Trump, one public commenter said: “Is this two-bit ex-comedian ever in Ukraine? Seems not! Especially anywhere near the front line! Begging bowl out again, getting bigger all the time, by fools being taken in by this show of WANTON GREED. If he were a true leader, he would would have held talks with Russia and come to some agreement without the West interfering. Russia is a global superpower and Ukraine will never win this War. He is forever trying to get Europe, the UK and America involved, leading to all-out war! Get a grip, Zelensky, do a deal with Russia and take back all your fit men, women and children to rebuild your Country after a new General Election! That’s what WE had to do after the 2nd World War. NO more money from the Brits. We are broke! ON YOUR BIKE! And as for the King!… Read more »

‘Ambassador Holland yesterday explained what is at stake in Ukraine and why Russia’s narrative that it is on a path to an inevitable victory is false. Thank you, Mr Chair. Last week Ukraine marked Defenders’ Day. This is a day when Ukrainians honour those who defend them and remember those who gave their lives so that Ukraine could live. Today millions of Ukrainians stand united in the face of Russia’s illegal war of aggression. Once again, they are defending their statehood, their culture and their independence. On these grounds alone, Ukraine’s fight is an honourable one worthy of the world’s backing. But the stakes are, in fact, even higher, and they should matter to us all. Because Ukraine stands between a world that is based on agreed principles, norms and laws, which has, for the most part, delivered stability and prosperity for our populations over several decades. And the alternative: a world where would-be aggressors are rewarded rather than punished. A world without rules and principles governing international relations and conduct. And a world where conflict and instability increase while prosperity and cooperation decrease. The Kremlin’s propaganda machine wants to convince us all that Russia’s war against Ukraine is now on the path to an inevitable victory. They… Read more »

Does this also cover people who support the sustained campaign of terrorism and sabotage on UK soil on behalf of China..? Or is it just to bang up the odd weirdo for ever.

Drug dealing weirdos certainly should be behind bars.

Regarding China, the labour government is all over the place….but the security services are not:

‘Attempts by states – principally China, Russia and Iran – to carry out operations involving violence, sabotage, arson or surveillance are “routinely” being uncovered….The UK-China relationship is by its nature complex, but MI5’s role is not…We detect and deal, robustly, with activity threatening UK national security…..These threats range from cyber espionage; attempts to steal secrets from universities such as by cultivating academics; or efforts to target parliament and other parts of public life……MI5 will keep doing what the public would expect of us, preventing, detecting and disrupting activity of national security concern,” said the MI5 chief…..Our track record is strong. We’ve intervened operationally again just in the last week and we will keep doing so.”
The spy boss continued: “I am MI5 born and bred. I will never back off from confronting threats to the UK wherever they come.’

Lockdowns and liberty: what did Britain get right – and wrong

‘Debating Britain’s lockdowns: were they lifesavers or liberty-busters? Join an Oxford panel on November 19th to weigh the trade-offs, with insights from Sunetra Gupta, Hugh Montgomery, Toby Green and Mark Honigsbaum.’

The very first question for the panel to answer should be:

‘Given that ONS figures show the average age for covid mortality for both men and women to be higher than life expectancy within the United Kingdom, and given that many Coronavirus specialists and other academics across the world were pointing out that ‘covid’ was simply a common cold coronavirus from early February 2020, why did the British Government consider that any extraordinary measures were required at all?’

And the follow on question should be: Did those countries and states that took a different view (e.g. Sweden, Florida) do a better job?

Britain’s lockdowns: were they lifesavers or liberty-busters?

Actually, lockdowns were liberating for many people. At least initially.

It was liberating for all those who were employed, continued to collect a pay check, but didn’t have to go to work.

It liberated them from the daily work grind.

And later when people were encouraged or even required to work from home, it liberated them from the grind of the daily commute.

Freedom can be a relative thing. For many, lockdowns actually gave them more freedom.

That’s actually why they were accepted by the population.

Thats fair comment Stewart, and matches my experience. The thing we learned best from lockdown, is ‘its okay while someone else is paying’

Of course, it is a middle class thing. The workers can’t dig coal or run a blast furnace from their bedroom.

Neither can they dig closed coal or run a shut down blast furnace from the dole office.

Yes, but how many other prosecutions of British Army veterans of are still being carried out behind the scenes in Northern Ireland?

I don’t understand how anyone on the British government and Loyalist Ulster Protestant side could ever have signed the “Good Friday Agreement” in the first place, totally biased toward the Catholic IRA Terrorists, who were then completely let off by Catholic Convert Tony Blair, and now Labour vowing to overturn the best thing Boris Johnson ever did as Prime Minister: The Legacy Act, banning all future prosecutions on all sides of this conflict from HALF A CENTURY AGO, for which the Vindictive Catholics are still bent on ENDLESS REVENGE and MONEY: “Compensation claims” like that of Catholic IRA Terrorist Gerry Adams, laughing all the way to the bank…

“The BBC itself reported that the total costs could be as high as £4.2m.”

Total figure to be received by Gerry Adams from the BBC will be many times the damages sum – The Irish News

He should donate the money to the TEN ORPHAN CHILDREN OF MRS. JEAN MCCONVILLE.

Another terminal whinger with a lifetime’s supply of victim cards. In what realm is it normal to expect decent people to tolerate the intolerant? You don’t like our liberal laws surrounding ‘freedom of expression’, bog off to some Islamic country. But as long as they’re the fake ‘pro-Palestine’ hate marches then it’s all good., because hate against Israel/Jews is 100% acceptable to the likes of you. Fecking hypocrites;

”Far-right thugs may not be able to march through Tower Hamlets this Saturday now, but we’ll not stop until they’re defeated from every street of our city.

From Poplar to Whitechapel and beyond, we’ll take a stand wherever they come to spread their hate.”

I know they’ve arrested a couple of men in connection with the Peacehaven mosque arson attack, but so far I don’t think they’ve shared their identities. There’s a lot of suspicion relating to this incident, especially as the attackers were heard to not be speaking English; ”Tbh it seems more like Punjabi, saying something similar to “what is it or this” followed by acha which is “okay” similar in both Urdu and Punjabi. It is not a hindi dialect so I wouldn’t even mix it up with it. Makes sense as the majority Mirpuri and Punjabi population in England are the problematic Pakistanis here. This could very well be an insurance scam job, being done at this time to take advantage of the whole situation in the country. However if that was the case then they would know about the Ring doorbell and its recordings. Unless they are that bloody stupid. Other speculations could be that it is done on purpose without the knowledge of the mosque or its operators as an Islamist act to gain sympathy and divert attention or even to spark civil war which they have been prepping for a while. Or it could be done by… Read more »

But it’s too early to celebrate, because the Evil B*stard has dug his heels in, refusing to resign, launching a complaint that Oxford Union officials said may take MONTHS to decide, which will allow him to actually take office in January 2026, if the “tribunal” has not thrown out his false claim before then.

He has also launched a “No Confidence” complaint against the current President of the Oxford Union. Will he also be calling for race riots to support him?

May I add this news to the Round-Up:

Manhunt for Epping hotel migrant sex attacker after he’s accidentally FREED from prison instead of being deported | Daily Mail Online

Of course it wasn’t “accidental”. Very informative comment from the public:

” Long term problem since TENDERED PRIVATE AGENCIES. 87 walked free in 12 months up to March 24. I wonder if the 37 who were incorrectly released in the September 24 Early Release Farce will be included in the HMP general figures up to March 25. That’s only the ones they realised were ‘accidently’ released. Lammy can’t stand humiliation, he is used to dangerous offenders walking out. ”

And now this from GB News!!!
Epping migrant sex attacker spotted speaking to locals in staggering footage after being accidentally freed from prison
