Sudanese Migrant Tries to Kidnap Schoolgirl Before Bystanders Intervene
An illegal immigrant from Sudan attempted to kidnap a schoolgirl off the street in Swindon in a terrifying attack before bystanders heroically intervened. The Mail has more.
Abdulmawal Ibrahim Adam, 27, from Sudan, tried to snatch the terrified 17 year-old girl at around 9.30pm as she walked home from work in Swindon.
CCTV showed Adam drag the girl across a road “against her will” after he approached her at a set of traffic lights from behind.
However, members of the public waiting at a bus stop witnessed the attack and were able to intervene to stop the teenage girl from being taken.
After running off, he then tried to follow another woman before she managed to get away.
He then followed a third woman who witnessed the attempted kidnap, as members of the public again intervened.
Adam eventually ran off after witnesses pursued him while filming him.
The schoolgirl’s mother reported the incident the same evening and Adam was arrested and charged with attempted kidnap.
Adam pleaded guilty yesterday after having previously refused to engage with the police.
DC Anna McCormack of the town’s CID said: “This was a terrifying incident for the victim and I would like to pay tribute to her for the strength she has shown throughout the process.
“‘I’d also like to thank the various members of the public who assisted the victim at the time of the incident who potentially ensured that the incident wasn’t much worse than it was.”
Adam, from Darfur, arrived in the UK illegally in September 2023, according to the Sun.
A month later, he pleaded guilty to arriving in the country “without valid entry clearance” at Canterbury Crown Court and he was sentenced to seven months.
It is not known if he is attempting to seek asylum or if any conditions were attached to his release. The Daily Mail has approached the Home Office for clarification.

In some cases it is possible to know beyond any doubt the identity of the guilty party; these cases are clearly two of those.
As the first purpose of punishment is to provide retribution and where possible restitution for the wronged parties, capital punishment in cases such as these has a lot of merit.
Either that, or into the oubliette they go. No netflix, no courses, no therapy, no other taxpayer goodies and definitely no chance of parole. Feed them with leftovers of the leftovers.
There is no earthly motive for crimes like these, and there comes a point where it is pointless to try to identify the motive – even less to understand it.
Of course, it is possible they were drugged up and let loose…. who would arrange such a thing, I wonder… and what would their motives be, I wonder…
A lot of people would say to deport them as soon as they’re convicted so we don’t have to release another dangerous prisoner to make space for them, let them serve a third of their sentence (costing the taxpayer goodness knows how much) then deport them. Obviously doing this means they wouldn’t be punished for their horrendous crimes but we’d save a bit of money, be rid of them and they wouldn’t be able to possibly radicalise British prisoners who we’re stuck with once they’re released.
Maybe it should be up to the victim, or their family in cases of murder, if they want to see their attacker serve time or just be deported straight away.
If whole families were immediately deported along with their criminal relatives, without any legal appeals, lawyers, politicians or judges delaying justice, Third World crime in the West would grind to a halt.
“Family reunions” should mean just that: uniting criminals with their families by sending them all back to their ancestral homelands, and cutting off all foreign aid to any country refusing to take them.
And their UK local imams should be sent with them as “spiritual advisers”.
Heretic, I think you and I agree broadly on this specific subject and the fact the so-called British Justice System is woeful in this regard, but nevertheless…
Wtf do you mean by “ancestral homeland”? How far back do we go in defining a person’s ancestral homeland? What if the person has a father from one “homeland” and a mother from a quite different “homeland”? Heck, what is a “homeland”? Yes there is a lot of divide and conquer going on and yes we should be wary of it, but I don’t think that is incompatible with the view that Europe should remain predominantly white and that England should remain predominantly English.
Regarding the Right to Remain, I believe that people who are here in the U.K. legally and have not committed serious crimes should be able to remain on the basis they were allowed to in the first place.

I think it really depends on what you mean by racist.
The word is virtually meaningless and worse than useless, but you could look at it as a spectrum, which almost everyone is on, and which has been normal for almost everyone in almost all of history. It’s not binary. Being somewhere on the spectrum does not mean you are Evil. I imagine that in reality almost everyone who posts here could agree on a great deal to do with “racist” and what constitutes right and wrong, correct and incorrect ways to treat other humans regardless of race.

It’s just non-stop and it’s depressing. When I read these sorts of news reports, especially when it concerns teenage boys/young men, I always wonder what sort of upbringing they had. Because, if this is how you think it’s normal to treat females, how do you view your own mother or sisters? What did your mother teach you growing up about how to respect females? What behaviour was modeled by their fathers? If they were back in their home countries, where they don’t have easy access to white, native women, would they have just treated fellow Muslim females in the same way? Because I don’t think ‘asylum seekers’ suddenly turn into sexual predators as soon as their feet touch European soil. Nail on head regarding the difference with “back home” and here. In general here we have moved past the need for what I suppose you would call “taking the law into your own hands” – but that is now changing.
Actually I’m not so sure the male relatives back in their homeland would’ve ”taken good care of them”, if you’re meaning in a ‘corporal punishment’ sense. Because, in my opinion, it’s more likely it’s these elder men ( the dads, uncles, grandads etc ) that are mirroring unhealthy and abnormal ( though ‘normal’ to their culture ) behaviour and this is where the boys, at a young and formative age, are starting to formulate their views on females.

Yes, and in some parts of Eastern Europe it seems that “informal justice” is meted out. I remember one report decades ago where an unarmed American man was driving his beautiful blonde British fiancee along a rural road in Eastern Europe when an armed gang appeared, blocking the road ahead and signalling him to stop.

I think it’s very difficult to pose the question what do they think of their mothers, sisters and daughters when questioning their behaviour. There are certain Europeans, extremely devout Catholics, who use and abuse women forcing them into prostitution. Love of a family member is no measure of one’s disrespect for others, I am afraid.
