In Episode 54 of the Sceptic, host Laurie Wastell speaks to Alexander Adams, artist and writer and the author of the pamphlet, Abolish the Arts Council and his new book, How to Start a Dissident Art Movement. They discuss the woke tyranny of the contemporary art establishment, why modern art is so off-putting, the meaning of Right-wing art and his new exhibition – Power and Intimacy, running until this Sunday in Central London – and what he and his colleagues are trying to achieve with it.

Great interview with Alexander Adams (despite me being a big sceptic of modern art). I also heard Alexander struggle to define his movement or what is “right of centre” about it. Can I suggest something …

The right values individual personal freedom, the left most certainly does not. Therefore, the current deep state must define and enforce an orthodoxy which everyone – artists included – must follow (small variations allowed). The right on the other hand are the real movement which “let’s it all hang out”.
