Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s Daughter Violet Pushes for Mask Mandates at United Nations
Violet Affleck, the daughter of Hollywood stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, was at the United Nations on Tuesday to push for mask mandates, saying the world was irresponsible for returning to ‘business as usual’ after Covid. The Mail has more.
The 19 year-old activist spoke about the importance of masks and other preventative devices more than five years after the COVID-19 pandemic changed life on the planet for all.
Violet was appearing as part of an event titled Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action.
Violet, a first-year student at Yale’s Davenport College, said that it was essential to remain wearing masks to curb the spread of COVID-19.
“It is neglect of the highest order to look children in the eyes and say, ‘We knew how to protect you, and we didn’t do it,'” the Ivy League student said.
Violet said that the current generation was showing an alarming lack of responsibility in going back to business as usual, five years after the virus forced everyone indoors for months.
“For adults, the relentless beat of ‘back to normal’, ignoring, downplaying and concealing both the prevalence of airborne transmission and the threat of Long Covid manifested in a series of choices,” Violet told attendees.
The teenager made headlines last year when she demanded the imposition of “mask mandates” in medical facilities, citing her experience of contracting “a post-viral condition” in 2019.
In paparazzi photos, the eldest daughter of the Tinseltown staples has often been pictured wearing a mask at events with her family – even if she has been the only one to do so.
The young activist uses fashion to express her political beliefs. Last year, she was photographed wearing a mask and a black sweater adorned with a watermelon – sending a message of solidarity with Palestine.

I am personally 100% convinced that the Covid mask mandates made no difference to the infection rates and caused a lot of harm. But if someone disagrees, it’s OK. Maybe that person is scared or misinformed. He’s still a human being and should be treated as such.

I feel bad for kids like Violet ( and she was a kid when the scamdemic kicked off, so highly vulnerable for indoctrination ), plus, coupled with the fact these celeb kids have such woke disasters for parents, the odds are stacked against them. In a normal, sane society she would be just considered a loony with some weird ideas. The problem is that there is something about her insanity that resonates with society and she is taken seriously. That, I think, is the bigger problem here. So the question is: why is society so sick that a very large number of people agree with her?
It seems to have become acceptable or even the norm for people with ideas about how life should be lived to go beyond merely following their own path, beyond trying to persuade others to follow that path, to “everyone must do this and if they don’t I want the state which they fund through taxes to throw them in prison”. I don’t have much sympathy.

There was a massive trial, in the Belgium area, that showed cloth masks were ineffective in stopping Covid transmission and that it resulted in more illnesses due to breathing in moist, infected air, especially if they weren’t washed regularly, (daily at least?).
A credible solution needed a very high specification mask. It’s another example of not caring about the detail, just pretend instead.

Yes, the first time I went shopping with a mask I felt faint out after about 3 hours. Taking the mask off fixed it almost immediately. I think it was lack of oxygen.
Use a pulse-oximeter. Measure your O2 without a mask, then with a mask. In my case, the O2 declined 500 basis points with the mask. That can’t be good for you.

These kind of things always start with the parent failing to give enough attention to the child. If they can’t get good attention, then they will settle for bad attention, but I don’t think its that in this case. I think Violet is looking to her parents for validation. She is hoping for the love and attention she seeks by supporting issues that mean something to her parents. When she doesn’t get it, she becomes more outrageous. She also has no need to consider issues of responsibility or practicality, because everything she ever needed or wanted has been provided for her. Poor kid.

It worth noting that in Japan where proactive wearing is common in the cities, people who have a risk of passing on respiratory infections wear them to pass them onto others. Depending upon a regularly worn face covering without any other infection control in the environment has little value to prevent diseases that might be spread by touch, ingestion etc.
To me it just sounds like a sad little celeb child who’s has a difficult childhood, spending too much time in the spotlight. At least the poor love wasn’t bought up to suffering from some form of gender dysphoria. Now that is cruel.
