Keir Starmer Confirms Britain Will Ignore US and Israeli Anger and Recognise a Palestinian State

Sir Keir Starmer has announced that the UK will formally recognise Palestine as a state. The Mail has the details.

The Prime Minister this afternoon said that the UK would press on with its symbolic gesture because of the Netanyahu Government’s failure to agree to a ceasefire in the occupied enclave.

In a video posted on social media he said the move was intended “to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis”.

But the move, to be formally ratified at the UN general Assembly next week, has led to a torrent of criticism from those who say it rewards Hamas for its terrorism against Israel which triggered the bloody conflict.

Sir Keir has also been warned that it will harm the UK’s standing in the world and the PM was accused of pandering to his restive Left-wing backbenchers today, after David Lammy admitted there was style but no substance to the move.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that the incendiary move was about giving the Palestinian people “hope”.

But he admitted that it would do nothing to end the fighting or feed tens of thousands of people in the grip of famine as the Israelis continue their bloody assault.

In a co-ordinated move, Canada and Australia also moved to recognise Palestine today with statements by PMs Mark Carney and Anthony Albanese. France and Portugal are also expected to follow suit.

A spokeswoman for the Israeli PM Netanyahu today said it remained committed to achieving its war goals and said the UK decision was “absurd and simply a reward for terrorism”.

“The Prime Minister [Netanyahu] has made it very clear to me that his message to nations that are taking the avenue to disregard the sheer utter chaos Hamas has thrusted Gaza into and Israel, including our soldiers, families and of course, hostages still held in Hamas captivity, that the people of Israel aren’t going to commit suicide because of the political needs of European politics,” she told a press conference.

Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride said Sir Keir was “totally naïve” if he thought his ultimatum would force Israel to alter course.

“What has happened is that Keir Starmer’s backbenchers and members of his cabinet have forced him into this position, to make this move,” he told Sky News.

‘“It] has taken the leverage off the table. And that’s not good foreign policy.”

During his state visit to the UK, Donald Trump said he has “a disagreement with the Prime Minister” about recognition.

A group of families of hostages taken in the October 7th attack warned that recognition could hamper efforts to release them, and claimed Hamas would be “celebrating”.

There are also fears it would impact Britain’s intelligence-sharing relationship with Israel.

Stop Press: Legal experts are warning that Keir Starmer’s move to recognise a state of Palestine could spark calls for the UK to cough up more than £2 trillion in reparations, according to the Mail.

What an absolute mindless moron pandering to Muslim terrorists

He’s also pandering to the terrorist supporters, and we know who they are by now, because he sure as hell doesn’t speak for the majority of rightminded British people who will definitely oppose this. And to be fair, he’s on the cusp of recognising Britain as an Islamic state, anyway. He’s not a patriot, he’s a shyster.

Starmer knows that the majority of Muslims in this country support the Palestinian cause and he is scared of losing their support.
The problem is that with his gesture will result in further demands from the Muslims.

No, I am not convinced that this has anything to do with muzzie votes because Kneel must know they are already lost. His owners have told him to recognise a plastic pally state and he is doing as instructed.

So this is how they celebrate western countries recognizing Palestine as a state. Actually, that’s just coincidence. This is how they deal with Gazans accused of collaborating with Israel. I don’t know how many innocent men they must’ve killed by now using this particular accusation because I doubt they’re all guilty as charged. But look at the glee and jubilation from the male onlookers. They’re loving it;

”Hamas executed 3 Gazans.

In the background, Gazans are seen filming, cheering, and chanting ‘Allahu Akbar.’”

I don’t think this is about pandering to anyone. He could just keep quiet and would continue to enjoy the majority of Muslim support in the UK.

This is a geopolitical play (Canada and Australia doing it at the same time is a dead giveaway – they don’t have to pander to their muslims).

Don’t ask me what the play is, but everything the UK does overseas is about projecting its power and influence, dividing enemies and generally wreaking the havoc that has allowed the UK to “punch above its weight” for so long.

A State, eh?

Where are the borders?
Who or what is the government?

Exactly. How can you recognise a state split in two, each territory being (temporarily) governed by a different entity, one of them you designated as a terrorist organisation?

Creating chaos is no doubt the main objective. Stirring shit up among rivals – Indians and Pakistanis, Israelis and Arab neighbours, Iran and Saudi, Sunni and Shia, Ukrainians and Russians etc, is what the UK has always done. Just more of the same. Peace is the last thing the UK establishment wants.

No, Starmer— We are still a democracy, and NOBODY VOTED to recognize Palestine,

nor to give away the Chagos British Territory owned by British Taxpayers,

nor to faff about sending one Criminal Illegal to France in exchange for 100 other Criminal Illegals swarming into Britain,

nor to throw British Citizens into prison for Free Speech comments,

nor continued Mass Invasion from the Third World,

nor abolishing the Legacy Act which stopped the Vindictive Revenge Prosecutions of British War Veterans in Northern Ireland while letting Catholic IRA Terrorists run free,

nor any of the other corrupt, treasonous, insane acts that you, Starmer, have tried to force upon the British People WITHOUT OUR CONSENT.

About time.
The only good thing Starmer has ever done.
Israeli propaganda machine working overtime on this one.
Might have their work cut out though as more and more wake up to the number of innocents killed by the IDF, aided and abetted by the US.
Worry not though – the UK will continue to supply military intelligence and assistance as required.

Just leaving this here as a reminder; ”The Palestinian Movement: A KGB Project, Now Used Against the West The Palestinian cause was never about land. It was about destabilization. As revealed by Soviet defector Ion Mihai Pacepa, the KGB played a central role in inventing “Palestinian identity” in the 1960s. They trained Arafat, created the PLO, and engineered a narrative designed to undermine pro-Western Arab governments like Jordan and Lebanon – both of which were nearly torn apart by Palestinian militants. And it worked. Today, the same playbook is being run – in the West. Yuri Bezmenov, a former Soviet propaganda agent, warned that the most powerful tool of subversion isn’t war. It’s demoralization – changing how a population sees its own history, institutions, and identity. He described a 4-stage process: 1.Demoralization (erase pride and trust in one’s own culture) 2.Destabilization (economic, political, and social chaos) 3.Crisis (a triggering event) 4.Normalization (new regime or ideological control) Sound familiar? In the U.S., Palestinian activism is now the face of “resistance.” It’s wrapped in intersectionality, critical race theory, and slogans like “decolonization” – but the effect is the same: •Erode Western confidence •Turn Jews into villains •Justify violence as justice •Collapse the… Read more »

Exactly what will this nitwit recognise?

A State is a framework of institutions – Government, political system, Parliament/Congress, laws, rule of law, justice system, academia, public services and an active economy – which a people builds to create a peaceful, stable, prosperous society.

This has to be created from within by the people. The Palestinians in Gaza have had 25 years to create a State, after Israel pulled out leaving behind infrastructure intact and working. They’ve had even longer to create a State in the West Bank.

The Jews created the modern State of Israel in three years.

So I repeat, where and what exactly is this State they will “recognise”? It won’t just happen by magic because the clown act that passes for Western Governments, “recognise it”.

Anyway unless the US recognise it – it won’t – this is just all theatre and anti-Jewish behaviour.

Starmer should be engaged in recognising the state we are in, because soon we won’t be a State, we shall be a failed State begging the IMF for money to bale us out like a previous tax, borrow, spend, bust Labour Government.

On second thoughts, we will consent to you, Starmer, recognizing Palestine as an Independent State, presumably a MUSLIM State called “Palestine” with its Palestinian banner, completely separate from Israel…

…as long as the new MUSLIM Palestinian State agrees to recognize Northern Ireland as an Independent State completely separate from Ireland, presumably a PROTESTANT State called “Ulster” with its banner of the Red Hand, signalling to Catholics “You shall not pass!”

There. That seems fair.

Deal?

I completely fail to understand this decision at any level.
It rewards terrorism.
And I thought he said that he wouldn’t do this unless all hostages were released?
Was there an actual vote in parliament about this? Or can a prime minister just declare this without a democratic mandate?
This prime minister has managed to alienate so many groups of people and with this decision he has just added a few more.
I simply fail to understand.

Labour heavily relies upon the Muslim vote, Muslims are not the friends of the Jews, and lets not forget Mr Starmer and co is importing more of the Muslim faith via the boats every day, thus swelling their voting population.
The idiocy of Labour is that they believe they are securing their future power base, a false belief, as soon as Muslims reach critical mass they will form their own Party and Labour having sold out the British, will be finished, and Sharia law will become the main force in the once Christian UK.
But for now, whatever the Muslim vote wants from Labour is what Labour will do. In my opinion.
