I know some will think me foolish (and you may be right) but we are National Trust members- partly because we enjoy visiting some of the properties and partly to vote in their annual elections. There were maybe around 100 candidates for 7 council member positions- I had to scour the candidate profiles and scraped together 7 that were mildly to strongly critical of the direction of travel. All the rest were gushing.
Same here. Took lifetime membership back in the 1970’s and always enjoyed visiting various properties over the years. NT has gone loopy now though all climate, gender, LBG alphabet as evidenced above by the sacking of VOLUNTEERS at Mottistone.
Voted the same as last year, for the Restore Trust candidates, didn’t do any good last year but am ever hopeful. I gave up looking through the dross of candidates oozing over the vomit worthy ‘future direction’. It seems they’ve forgotten they are supposed to be looking after their properties and tenants.
Sounds like another political nightmare, I didn’t know NT was so bureaucratic in structure
Very woke – “equality”, “climate change”
Thank heavens he only gobbed on the copper and didn’t call him a muppet! 4 or more Police would have quickly arrested him if he had
“‘Drunk’ asylum seeker spat at police officer following reported disturbance” – A Somalian asylum seeker who drunkenly spat at a police officer has escaped punishment, according to the Bournemouth Echo’
Third World Ethnics spitting on police should be classed as serious assault, especially those from the Meningitis Belt of Africa (including Somalians), and the Indian Subcontinent.
All of these people are “SYMPTOMLESS CARRIERS” of Meningitis and Tuberculosis, and that’s why there’s been such a surge in cases of those diseases in the UK and everywhere in the West because of Mass Invasion from those areas.
The Somalian b*stard should have been jailed and deported as the criminal illegal invasive parasite that he is—FIVE WHOLE YEARS he has been allowed to remain here illegally with false asylum claims, all financed by the British Taxpayers.
I hope the Reform UK party will propose a new law, making SPITTING on or even near someone a criminal offence with mandatory jail time, and allowing victims of such attacks to punch the offenders in the jaw, in self-defence.
“Drunk’ asylum seeker spat at police officer following reported disturbance”
And was let off!
Thats because these people come from countries where they are used to being a bit ‘spity, stabby and rapey’ so have to be treated differently! FFS!

Ben Habib is now banned from GB News and Talk TV, the homes of free speech for Farage sycophants. Farage’s friend from Talk TV, Alex Phillips, describes Ben Habib as weird.
I also think Pakistani Benyamin Naeem Habib is weird, and obsessed with getting revenge upon Nigel for naturally and sensibly replacing him with an elected Reform party MP after Pakistani Habib failed to get elected. Several times. The British voters didn’t want him.
He even imitated Reform UK ‘s name by setting up his own vanity project as “Advance UK”.
Pakistani Habib and Nigerian “real name” Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke should nip over to Israel and try to become Prime Minister of Israel, and tell the Israeli people they are “racist” if they object.
“At the risk of being arrested, I suggest Met chief Mark Rowley is a total muppet”
An entertaining article from Allison Pearson. About 2/3 through the article we get a picture of Sirs Mark and Sadiq with the caption ‘Sir Mark Rowley, in his oversized hat, promotes the Met’s community outreach programme with London mayor Sadiq Khan Credit: Stefan Rousseau/PA‘. I note Sir Mark has his regulation issue handcuffs, radio and stab vest – presumably just in case Sir Sadiq goes a bit nuts?.
