Ethiopian Asylum Seeker, 41, Found Guilty of Trying to Kiss Schoolgirl, 14, in Sexual Assault that Triggered Epping Hotel Protests
A migrant who tried to kiss her a schoolgirl and told her he wanted to have a baby with her before later groping a woman who came to her aid – attacks that triggered the Epping hotel protests – was convicted of sex offences today. The Mail has more.
Ethiopian national Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, 41, sparked a huge anti-migrant demonstration in Epping, Essex, and prompted the local council to try and shut down the town’s Bell Hotel where he was a resident after his arrest in July.
He made inappropriate comments and tried to kiss the 14 year-old as she sat eating pizza with friends on a bench after school.
His advances were rejected again when he saw her the following day and a woman who intervened when he put his hand on the girl’s thigh then became the focus of his attention as he touched her leg and tried to kiss her.
Extraordinary body-worn police footage taken as police arrested Kebatu showed him breaking down in tears as he was handcuffed at the side of the road.
The defendant denied three counts of sexual assault, one of attempted sexual assault, a charge of harassment and another of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity but was convicted following a trial at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
Wearing a grey sweater and jogger bottoms and joined by an interpreter in court, he showed no reaction as District Judge Christopher Williams delivered the verdicts.
The judge warned Kebatu an “immediate custodial sentence” was the most likely outcome, adding: “It is just a question of how long.”
Kebatu had arrived in the UK in a dinghy just eight days before he began harassing the teenager.

Will it be as long as you get for a tweet? That is the key question. Is the Lord Chancellor or Chief Justice etc allowed to try to influence this judge to manage the sentence, I wonder.
How long will he actually serve and at the end of it will he be deported – I think we know the answer. It will not be until we have a Reform government that prisons, HMNOs and hotels are cleared of illegal immigrants and other criminals.
Or the Great Civil War squares all circles and punishes all traitorous crimes.

“Immediate Custodial Sentence” in a comfy British prison full of his fellow Muslim Army Invaders, where he’ll be happy amongst his own, helping them smuggle in child porn, plot Jihad & attack British prison staff & British prisoners, all funded by the British Taxpayers?

For so long as the “smash the gangs” policy has not worked I would expect any sensible government would do all of the folowing:
1 fingerprint and photograph all illegals off the beaches
2 take blood samples and test for diseases and blood group. Store for future DNA or upload it now
3 Take a written statement from them as to their version of where they came from, age, relatives etc
4 ask how they got here, cost, names, places
5 require them to confirm with a signature or fingerprint that they have seen a messaged in whjatever language they claim to speak which tells them DO NOT MOLEST OUR GIRLS AND WOMEN.
“sensible government” is where this plan all falls down
Keep offshore on ships whilst we arrange their forcible removal back to an African beach where they will be dumped by Royal Marines under cover of warships, subs and carrier aircraft. This would be a very good use of our rather too small navy.
In the end it will be our women and girls who have to stay home to avoid these men and change our way of lives to stay safe.
No doubt he’ll now claim that as a convicted paedophile he’ll face discrimination and violence in Ethiopia and therefore deporting him will breach his human rights. An activist judge will accept his claim and give him permanent right to remain in the UK meaning we’re stuck with this pervert until we get a sensible government.
I’m waiting for the woke apologists for foreign criminals in the Guardian, Independent etc to start coming out with their vile opinion pieces claiming that trying to kiss a 14 year old girl isn’t that bad compared to the sexual crimes committed by a tiny minority of British men and therefore women and girls don’t need to be afraid of foreign perverts, it’s British men they need to be wary of.

Let me guess: he had a traumatic upbringing; he has mental health issues; this was all a very unfortunate misunderstanding of “cultural differences;” he’s a Christian who sincerely repents of his (unintended) sin; jailing him for any length of time will be of no benefit to either him or society … he needs our help and understanding – it’s our duty to care for him …. via welfare for life: 3 months in jail …. let out after 4 weeks.

Apart from a brief period under Italian control, Ethiopia was never colonized by any European country. So what is the excuse for it to be a country with ‘challenges’. It wouldn’t be the twin ‘challenges’ of Marxism and Islam?
Why is this guy even here? There are regular flights between the UK and Ethiopia. Why would he need to secure asylum from a country whose national airline flies to Manchester, Gatwick and Heathrow? Just send him back.
