Chaos at Canary Wharf Migrant Hotel as Protesters Claim Migrant Entered Woman’s Home – but Police Let Him Go

Chaos has erupted outside at a Canary Wharf migrant hotel after a man allegedly wandered into a woman’s home. The Mail has more.

The man is said to have entered the house after being followed by a group of men on the street and told to “go back to the hotel” where anti-migrant protesters were gathered outside.

The Britannia International Hotel is being used to house hundreds of asylum seekers. …

It comes as another group of up to 50 migrants arrived at the hotel at the crack of dawn this morning before being hurried inside by guards.

The men were brought to the site in coaches at 5.34am today and told to run into the lobby to avoid cameras.

The hotel has been a focus of protests in recent weeks after Tower Hamlets Council confirmed it had been handed over to the Home Office to house asylum seekers.

Last night, the Met said its officers were investigating a “complex” set of circumstances.

A statement said: “We are aware of videos circulating online relating to an incident that officers were called to at 18:07hrs on Wednesday, August 13th at Marsh Wall, E14.

“We understand a man entered a property through an open door, having been followed by a group of men in the street.

“The man has not been arrested at this time as our initial investigation has not identified any offences – we understand this is distressing for the occupants.” …

Another video posted on TikTok shows a group of onlookers questioning the police about why the man had not been arrested.

They definitely don’t want this stuff publicised and are sparing no effort on coverups and obfuscation. There is far more to this migrant situation than meets the eye.

It’s a mechanism for introducing total State control via digital ID. They see the public as bovine cattle who’ll gurglingly jump on the idea of something called a ‘Brit Card’ after they’ve theatrically ‘lost control of immigration.’
Either that or the 700 strong Muslim caliphate within the civil service are deliberately constructing a secret Islamic army to take over and wipe us out.

Anything is indeed possible.

Like 150,000 migrants gone missing. That sounds like an army.

150,000? The small boats rescued about 300,000 from Dunkirk. So, they’ve apparently lost half the number of young men that were rescued from Dunkirk…

I don’t like this story. It tells me nothing. What group of men? What did the man do in the house? Anything? Was he trying to hide from the group as could be deduced? Did he go into the house to do something awful, as could also be deduced?

I feel that the way this story is presented is designed to provoke me and manipulate me.

If there are not enough facts, don’t run the story. If you run a story with so few facts that it can lead people to erroneous conclusions (either way), then I feel your intentions are not to inform me but to manipulate me.

I wandered lonely as a cloud…

…straight into some woman’s home. As you do.

Sorry, but that doesn’t sound right at all. To have used the term ‘wandered’ sounds like he innocently took a wrong turn into a house.

The Mail is the same. What does “followed” mean? What does “group of men”

I am ‘followed’ by ‘groups’ of all sorts of people every time I walk along a busy street, because it just so happens a lot of them were walking in the direction I was walking.

There are too many gaps in this story.

Like you, I have no idea about what went on, but… from what I read between the lines, it sounds like he was being followed by a group of people and nipped through an open door to get away, perhaps?

Such is the position we find ourselves in, once trust in the authorities break down and people take things into their own hands.

History suggests this may not end well.

A man wandered into a woman’s home. Because that is so regular an occurence in the UK, I am sure most women in the UK are fully cool with the odd migrant wandering into their home, why would the Police need to do anything, no doubt the Police will blame the woman for incitement.

Isn’t trespassing against the law any longer?

On its own it has never been a criminal offence except certain Crown (ie government) property and property specially designated (likely immigrant hotels). Your home can be invaded and the police will do nothing unless theft or violence is attempted.

This is the account of the two guys that saw the migrant trying to get in the woman’s house and apprehended him; ”EXCLUSIVE: I spoke with Dean and Richie, who were involved in apprehending the asylum seeker who allegedly invaded the home of an elderly blind lady near the Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf today. They walked me through exactly what happened.” https://x.com/JackHadders/status/1955741118295105667 Meanwhile, this just shows that demonstrating does make a difference. Especially if the migrants haven’t yet arrived. Note to the cynics: Don’t underestimate ‘people power’; ”BREAKING NEWS; Premises In Waterlooville in Hampshire that were destined to house up to 35 illegal Migrants are No Longer to be used after Demos against such use & having such in the area; the British Public have had enough & are Now regularly taking to the streets to Demonstrate.” Norman Brennan Also, if you want to watch 7mins of what it’s like in a migrant hotel, this guy managed to wangle a meal there and not get rumbled, despite an obviously phony accent. To be fair, at the end you see he doesn’t look white when he’s with his caucasian mate, so that probably helped. And a discreet bodycam ”INSIDE Cresta… Read more »

So no ID to get served. Not self-service but served by all / largely white staff I noticed. Spotlessly clean. Huge amounts of space. I wonder what hours the food is available.

Looks better than NHS hospitals.

I’d imagine it’s also better than what they were getting in Tentsville, Calais, France, but did you see the amount of food waste?
That’s a point. I actually don’t know what they get in France before they jump on a dinghy taxi in the way of food. Do you think the NGOs rock up, doing their ‘Meals on Wheels’ bit to feed them?
