Starmer’s “Deterrent” Fails as 400 Cross Channel in First Two Days of Migrant Returns Deal with France
More than 400 small boat migrants have arrived in the first two days of Labour’s returns deal with France, making a mockery of claims it would be a “new deterrent”. The Mail has the story.
The Home Office confirmed 248 migrants were picked up in the Channel yesterday and brought into Dover.
It followed 155 arrivals on Wednesday – the first operational day of the new Anglo-French treaty.
The Government has refused to disclose how many migrants are being detained for removal to France.
The scheme is also highly likely to face long-running legal challenges.
Yesterday Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was accused of “gaslighting the British public” after he made “grossly exaggerated” claims over the new deal.
On social media he said: “If you break the law to enter this country, you will face being sent back.”
Home Secretary Yvette Cooper also appeared to overstate the likely impact of her scheme, claiming “every migrant” will be “throwing away their money if they get into a small boat”.
In reality, the pilot scheme is only expected to return a tiny percentage of migrants.
It will also expire in just 10 months’ time, with any renewal then in doubt as the next French presidential election campaign will, by then, be gathering pace.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp said: “The PM is gaslighting the British public.
“His tweet is a gross exaggeration of what this paltry scheme will do.”
The number of migrants to have reached Britain since the start of the year now stands at 25,839, 46% higher than at the same point last year.

1 in 1 out will always amount to zero change in the number of migrants forcing their way into the UK. And if the number of illegals increase the 1 in 1 out policy will just keep step. There is no intention of stopping the migrants and that is the view of the Home Office and in fact I heard somewhere that this ‘invasion’ is intended to run for another 5 years.
If these ‘migrant hotels’ could only morph into actual migrant detention centres, they’d likely stop coming over night, or there’d at least be a substantial drop off in numbers because it wouldn’t be seen as a cushy, desirable place anymore, and not worth the effort. Anyone stepping onto British soil, especially if they’ve got no papers and no means of authorities checking if they’re a terrorist, rapist or murderer, should be treated as the criminals they actually are ( they arrived illegally, from a safe country, therefore are not legit refugees ) and they should not be allowed to roam free, unsupervised in local communities. They should all be made to wear ankle tags within minutes of them arriving due to them possibly absconding. As it is, they’re literally rocking up to a 4 star hotel and getting actual 4 star service, that you and me would pay good money for. They get everything provided, even their laundry is done for them, they literally don’t have to lift a finger to clean up after themselves, going by videos I’ve watched of former migrant hotel managers, so they want for nothing. Well what must we do if that doesn’t work or more likely doesn’t happen? You write very eloquently and passionately on this and yet Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were not beaten with well argued writings. Sadly, I think it is apparent that the pen is not mightier than the sword especially if you have a pen and your enemy has a sword.
However, the dilemma is we seem to be being deliberately provoked perhaps to get a reaction much as Israel was with Oct 7th and yet not reacting will allow our culture to be over-run.

Let’s assume (optimistically) that the scheme will return 5% of the dinghy people to France.
So then from the migrants’ point of view the chance of success is still 95%.
In what universe does that work as a deterrent?
This laughable scheme was never intended to be a deterrent, as our government has no intention of deterring immigrants of any quality or of any number. The scheme is designed to give the appearance of concern, while doing nothing of substance. This is because mad mass unlimited unvetted immigration serves a nefarious and traitorous purpose: the Great Replacement.

We know that the RNLI return the migrants’ life jackets to France once they’ve arrived at their destination, but here’s evidence that even the dinghies are being taken from Dover to France via lorries. Just as well this man was paying attention and caught it on film that day. How very organized and smoothly ran this operation is;

So one in one out, so if 400 turn up, put them straight on a ferry back to France, in my calculations that’s 1 for 1, or have I missed something???
A politician said it? So it is spin.
So many things are a mystery to us ordinary souls. I know other countries give sanctuary to more than we do, but they are larger populations and larger land masses, but what I still don’t understand is why we give asylum to a higher percentage of applicants than others, especially to those refused elsewhere. Why do we provide better living conditions than others. To the SWP counter protesters, what do they see in these migrants that so many other people don’t that they are so willing to welcome them into our under resourced country? To those who think safe routes are the answer, what do you think the migrants who are rejected at embassies abroad will do, stop trying to get here? And finally, if they think we can accommodate a million extra each year, what do they do when the million and one person arrives, turn him away and don’t they think he will try and enter illegally. The only answer is to shut down the pull factor and make life for many migrants as unattractive for them as where they left.
The government’s actions don’t make sense if you view them as mistakes or incompetence. But they do make sense if you view them as an attempt to replace the native peoples of our islands.

The absurd / idiotic description of this useless and mendacious Government’s scheme as “One In, One Out” demonstrates their complete lack of mathematical competence. This is how it will work (well, of course it won’t work – but it’s what they pretend will happen) :
A) One illegal migrant crosses the channel in a small boat
B) Then the illegal migrant is sent back (possibly), after years of ECHR legal wrangling
C) A different migrant from northern France is then sent over by the French with UK Government complicity, as per 2TK’s nonsensical agreement.
Any idiot can therefore see that it is TWO IN (A + C) for ONE OUT (B).
I therefore don’t understand why it is called “ONE IN, ONE OUT”.
In reality the scheme agreed with the Frogs is “TWO IN, ONE OUT”.
It is not clear to me how this is supposed reduce overall migration.
Bonkers.
And insulting to those of us in Britain who can actually add up.
Two-Tier’s “deterrent” isn’t a deterrent.
It makes it clear to criminal migrants and the people traffickers that about 90% of those who arrive will be allowed to stay …. and get the “free everything” they expect.
