Migrant Hotel Residents Film and Laugh as Protesters Clash in Islington

People believed to be migrants have been spotted filming and laughing as protesters and counter-demonstrators clashed in the streets of Islington. The Mail has more.

Local protesters have gathered under the banner “Thistle Barbican needs to go – locals say no”, against the use of a hotel in Islington, North London accommodating asylum seekers.

A counter-protest, organised by Stand Up To Racism and supported by former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, as well as other groups including Finsbury Park Mosque and Islington Labour Party, has also taken to the streets.

People believed to be migrants watched from open windows inside the hotel, filming and smiling on their mobile phones as protesters chanted and banged drums in the street below.

Brief clashes transpired between the two groups, before police separated the opposing sides, with the Metropolitan Police imposing conditions on both the protest and counter demonstration.

A group of anti-fascist protesters blocked a junction outside the hotel in breach of conditions, with officers being forced to push their way into the crowd to detain several demonstrators, dragging them out by their arms and legs. …

Nine people have been arrested so far, one for support of Palestine Action, one for a public order offence with seven others detained for breaching Public Order conditions. …

‘Patriots of Britain’ and ‘Together for the Children’ have also voiced their support for the protests.

A student counter-protester outside the Thistle City Barbican Hotel said he wants migrants to “feel safe” in Britain.

Pat Prendergast, 21, said: “I want people to feel safe. I think the (rival protesters) over there are making people feel unsafe.

“I want to stand up in solidarity and say that, you know, we want people here. We want migrants. We want asylum seekers.”

A noticeably smaller group of protesters waved union flags and held banners outside the hotel, with one man chanting in the direction of the hotel: ‘“Get these scum off our streets.” …

Elsewhere, at The New Bridge Hotel in Newcastle there are set to be protests with online posts advertising them as “for our children, for our future”.

A ‘stop the far-Right and fascists in Newcastle’ counter-protest has also been organised by Stand Up To Racism at the nearby Laing Art Gallery. …

On Friday, around 100 people attended a protest outside the Stanwell Hotel in Spelthorne in Surrey, during which a packet of lit firelighters was thrown at police. …

A coach full of suspected migrants was seen arriving at the Britannia International Hotel in Canary Wharf at around 1.40am on Saturday morning.

Tower Hamlets Council confirmed the Government intends to use the hotel – which has around 500 rooms – for asylum seekers in a move that has angered anti-migrant protesters and guests whose bookings have been cancelled

Footage of the passengers getting off the coach showed they were all men, with the vast majority dressed in matching grey tracksuit tops and bottoms. …

Protests have broken out across the country this summer, with more than 150 gathering outside The Park Hotel, in Diss, Norfolk last week after the Home Office announced plans to change it from housing asylum-seeker families to single men.

Stop Press: Donald Trump’s team are “greatly concerned” after revelations that a secret UK Government unit, under Technology Secretary Peter Kyle, pressured social media firms to take down posts critical of migrant hotels and “two-tier policing”, according to the Sun.

“Asylum seeker families”. Are there any? All the pictures are of young men. Where are all the women, children and old people?

They’ll be here shortly courtesy of the red Cross.

I’m sure all of us when fleeing imminent danger would leave our families behind to be fetched later by someone else… and I am sure the Red Cross check their papers carefully, and they are never fake.

I remember years ago when Joanna Lumley was mouthing off about the “Brave” Gurkhas and castigating anyone who thought they should stay in Nepal, the Marxist Nepalese government complained that so many Nepalese men had been signing up to join the British Army as “Gurkhas” over the years that it was severely harming the Nepalese economy and society.

Just like the new report from Albania:

I’m puzzled as to how there could be asylum seekers from Albania – I know a few people who have been on holiday recently- good place for a budget holiday, cash only! Doesn’t sound like a war zone

Yes, there’ve been no wars in Albania for a quarter of a century, but of course Albanian men are welcomed by our Globalist politicians from all parties, because Albania is 70% Muslim.

Q: How can you tell a photo of a masked Antifa protest by activists from one of a masked Covid protest by ordinary citizens?
A: The police don’t need riot gear for Antifa.

In a completely new twist, please see this extraordinary bit of investigative journalism by Sue Reid of the Daily Mail:

How Britain’s migrant surge is devastating one Albanian town: Lonely single women, abandoned wives and children who barely know their fathers | Daily Mail Online

Look at the photos of that peaceful, prosperous, beautiful land with lovely family homes and plenty of green spaces. Somehow they all managed to thrive for centuries without their men swarming into Britain, and they can do so again.

Should we be asking the Red Cross for a free ticket and a new life in Albania?

I would be laughing if I was able to illegally enter a country where I would be given free lodging, food, iPhone, clothes and cash which together are worth more than the average after-tax annual income of the local population. Unfortunately the countries I might want to go to would not allow me in as an illegal and would not treat me as HMG treat these criminals.

The photograph of the grinning illegals should be published throigfhout the country. Although DM readers will see it, that does not help as most of them will be Reform party supporters already. We need it in the Sun, Express, Mirror, even in the Guardian as the penny (oooops tyhe Euro) must drop amongst its readers eventually.

The footage i saw on Twitter was of the ‘Stand Up For Rapists’ and Antifa mob all waving at the migrants and they’re waving back, the Antifa lot do their usual trouble-making thing to create drama, the police get stuck in and the migrants no doubt find this all very entertaining. Considering the countries they come from they probably don’t see a lot of protests because they’ve not much experience of democracy. Presumably authorities won’t tolerate this behaviour in majority Muslim lands so I imagine there’s the novelty factor, too.

You must be joking – the Far Left media totally ignored the stats that show how illegal immigrant scum commit a huge amount of crime. Not a peep from the Guardian, Mirror, Independent or BBC.

I want these invaders to feel as unsafe as possible – to wish they’d never come here; The government is far to weloming – at our expense.
