Elite Police Squad to Monitor Anti-Migrant Posts on Social Media
An elite team of police officers is to monitor social media for anti-migrant sentiment amid fears of fresh summer riots. The Mail has more.
Detectives are set to be drawn from forces around the country as the Government scrambles to crack down on potential violence by flagging up early signs of civil unrest.
It comes amid warnings Britain could face another summer of disorder just 12 months after a wave of riots sparked scenes of chaos following the Southport murders.
The new police division, assembled by the Home Office, will aim to “maximise social media intelligence” after police forces were heavily criticised for their handling of last year’s riots which quickly spread across the country.
There have already been a string of demonstrations outside The Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, after an asylum seeker was charged with sexually assaulting a 14 year-old girl by allegedly attempting to kiss her.
Protesters and counter-protesters from Stand Up to Racism are due to gather outside the hotel again today, with more demonstrations planned at other migrant hotels across the country.
Essex Police have imposed restrictions to curb any violence or disorder, saying it is necessary and proportionate as there has been repeated serious disruption, violence and harm to the community.
The force said there will be a ban on anyone wearing face coverings and there will be designated sites opposite the hotel for protesters.
A dispersal order will be in effect from 12pm on Sunday until 8am on Monday, covering Epping town centre and nearby transport hubs.
The order gives officers the power to remove anyone suspected of anti-social behaviour. …
Hotel residents and staff have been advised to remain indoors after 5pm as some experienced verbal and physical harassment, including a resident chased and injured while returning to the hotel, the force added.
Essex Police said there was an “escalation of violence” during protests on July 13th, 17th, 20th and 24th, involving hundreds of people.
The force added that officers were assaulted, missiles were thrown, vehicles were vandalised and the hotel sustained broken windows and graffiti.
Essex Police said on Saturday that two more men have been charged and will appear in court after the disorder.

Elite police groups used to track and arrest ruthless terrorists, spies, bank robbers and drug dealers. Now they are scrolling social media. I guess today’s criminals are too diverse to risk offending 🙁
It only reinforces the theory propounded by the anonymous police blogger, “David Copperfield” (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wasting-Police-Time-Crazy-World/dp/0955285410), that the path to promotion in today’s police is to find a job on a specialist team that never requires you to leave comfort of the police station. (Such jobs also allow officers to work regular office hours, never put themselves in danger, and always be amongst the first to spot new job opportunities being posted.) What’s not to like?
This government is certainly showing their true colours, I wonder how much more damage they can do!
But I guess all of these people and organisations will leave a trail of their activities soon due course it will be possible to track them down and prosecute any wrongdoing.
I hope that Reform will make it clear that they will launch an enquiry into the activities of these organisations and deal with them appropriately as they are discriminating against a certain group of people.

NOT A SINGLE DINGHY has crossed the English Channel and landed in England on its own. Not one.
All of them have been BROUGHT HERE by a criminal collusion between the French Government and the UK Government, aided by their proxies such as French warships, RNLI boats, depraved Communist Activists claiming to be “charities”, and depraved Communist Activists in Parliament.
Therefore, ALL are GUILTY OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING, including the Fake Asylum Seekers who have paid £thousands to this Criminal Human Trafficking Operation, and all must be arrested and charged as criminals.
British Taxpayers are under NO OBLIGATION to allow them to even set foot on British soil, let alone pay to house, feed, clothe and educate these criminals and their entire extended families brought in later.
