Anyone know when Bob Vylan and Tim Davie are due to be arrested and charged for broadcasting hate speech?

For a fist full of roubles

So it can now be demonstrated that the violence advocated by Vylan has been incited in Melbourne. It should be an open and shut case with substantially more jail time than for a tweet.

Well it certainly demonstrates how words, when said to a certain kind of deranged ( or just extremely naive ) person, are anything but harmless. Yes, these nutjobs may well have gone ahead and done this anyway, and the two things perhaps aren’t connected, but how do people become indoctrinated and radicalized in the first place? It’s through ‘mere words’, and some numpties are more ripe and susceptible to absorbing and acting on blatant spewed hate than others. A no-brainer example would be to look at what lead to WW2 in Germany. The Jews might know a thing or two about the power of ‘only words’ and the damage they can do.

We don’t want to encourage them though do we? The others should be released, rather than removing more fundamental freedoms… it’s what they want

“Pro-Palestine activists disrupt London Pride parade”

British politics has come down to a fight between people who support Gaza thousands of miles away that has nothing to do with Britain with gay and trans people who’s bedroom habits require a flag and a march?
I can see the look of bemusment in my parents eyes, Thank goodness they haven’t had to witness this alien Britain!

I think it was Peter Hitchens many years ago who first pointed out that the left’s simultaneous support for LGBT and Islam is an inherent, unresolvable contradiction.
It will be interesting to watch how it pans out.
My bet would be that one day, when the Muslimisation of the country reaches a certain critical mass, the whole LGBT movement will disappear in a puff of smoke. No more rainbow flag on town halls.

What they have in common is the use of critical theory to further their aims. But as you say, and as the disruption of the pride parade by Palestinian protesters exemplified, the LGBT movement will end up being disappeared.

Nothing to do with Britain is, sadly, historically incorrect. And currently we are supporting Israel in its daily massacre of Palestinians, which is something we should definitely not be doing.

“British solar farms have been paid to switch off for the first time as sunny days prompt a surge of clean power that could overwhelm the grid”

Clean power my arse! They will never produce enough energy in there operational life times to replace all the mining and resources used it there construction

Where is the evidence for the description “clean”?

Good point and a question that should be asked frequently.

A week on from my comment about digital IDs and the lack of articles on this most important issue is defeaning.

The DS has plenty to say about immigration among other pet subjects but it is really disappointing that two of the top three articles about this are pro digital IDs.

Another anti ev rant on Dailysceptic:  “Charging a 600 kWh battery in five requires the power output of a small hydroelectric dam.”
Ev car batteries are typically 40 to 100 kWh, so why talk about 600kWh?

The snag being that lots of them want to charge at the same time – say 7 hours overnight, then find that they can’t because the system is not capable of delivering it. Trading outlets that do offer high current charging might well have their own local batteries to balance the load over time, but they don’t talk about the thermal loss etc of a setup like that. Charging one so that it can be discharged to charge another is a built in loss, after all.

This was about the physics of charging a big battery ( with a longer range)in a short time
