All Phones to Blast Out ‘Emergency Alarm’ in System Test as Government Warns UK to Prepare for War

Every phone in the UK will blast out an ’emergency alarm’ on the orders of the Government as the system is tested for the second time in two years and the Government warns Britain to prepare for war. The Mail has the story.

All UK devices will blast out an alarm tone later this year in a new test of the ‘Emergency Alert System’.

First launched in 2023, this system is designed to warn the public if there is a danger to life nearby.

This latest test comes as the Government’s security strategy warns that the UK homeland could come under “direct threat” in a “wartime scenario”.

The renewed testing of the emergency system also comes at a time when escalating conflict in the Middle East has sparked concerns of a wider war between nuclear powers.

When it was first tested, the emergency system sent a message to phones which read: “Severe Alert. This is a test of Emergency Alerts, a new UK government service that will warn you if there’s a life-threatening emergency nearby.

“In a real emergency, follow the instructions in the alert to keep yourself and others safe.

“Visit gov.uk/alerts for more information. This is a test. You do not need to take any action.”

The Emergency Alert System was designed to quickly inform the public of an impending threat.

According to the Government, this could include severe flooding, wildfires, or extreme weather events.

Once the alert is sent, all phones in the affected area will make a loud siren-like sound, vibrate, and read out the warning.

The sound and vibration will trigger even if your phone is set to silent.

The Government does not need to know your phone number in order to send the message, and all phones will automatically trigger the alert.

The next nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System will occur at some point in the coming year.

However, the exact date is yet to be announced.

After this year’s test, the Emergency Alert System will continue to be tested once every two years.

Worth reading in full.

My working assumption is that large numbers of components inthe phones and in the system pushing out these ridiculous alarms are made in China.

What could possibly go wrong?

Do these buffoons really think we’re going to fall for their pathetic war-mongering? And why should we fight for a government that wants to see us gone from our own country? They want to defend the borders of the Ukraine, but not ours. And if we advocate defending our own borders then our government designates us a heretics (“racists” is the word they use for us).

Hopefully not another attempt at slowly ramping up the drumbeats of war with Putin. Ukraine cannot be allowed to lose.
Obviously he’s determined to invade the whole of Western Europe. After all Russia needs more land and mineral wealth.
So give thanks to those who rule us, without whom we’d never be safe and free.
On the other hand some may think it’s yet another diversionary tactic to make the plebs blame Russia for the total clusters..k the West has made of the economy/immigration etc since WW2.

How many young men of fighting age have been assisted to come through the ‘portcullis’? Millions? How many of the recent atrocities (Lee Rigby, Manchester Arena, London Bridge, Sir David Ames, 7/7, Glasgow Airport, Southport and more) were carried out by one of these ‘refugees’? The attack on Israel on Oct 7th was part of the global Jihadi war on the West and considering that various intelligence agencies put the number of Islamic radicals somewhere between 180 million and 300 million (WW2 German Army 13.6 million / Japanese Army 5 5 million) there is a very real threat. in addition Iran, which has been using Hamas and Hezbollah as proxies to attack Israel recently used hypersonic missiles. These are supplied by Russia. Putin (Russia) has been a supporter of all the North African countries that border Europe since at least WW2, supplying aircraft, tanks and prodigious amounts of AK47s and of course persistent anti western propaganda. Putin is also mates with all the major dictators around the World, which is why there have been North Koreans and Chinese fighting for Russia in Ukraine. Irrespective of the collapse of the Soviet Union the Communist mind set is alive and well. Both… Read more »

Irrespective of the collapse of the Soviet Union the Communist mind set is alive and well.

Putin’s actions don’t spring from communism but from traditional Russian foreign policy going back centuries. Specifically this means controlling Russia’s borders AND controlling what goes on beyond those borders. This is the same foreign policy that the Tsarist regime pursued. Given Russia’s strategic position – a country with no natural frontiers to act as barriers to foreign invasion – Putin’s foreign policy makes complete sense.

Putin’s foreign policy makes complete sense.
As did the Mongol, Roman, Assyrian, Mayan, Babylonian and Ottoman foreign policies. Whether it makes sense to Putin or not is immaterial if someone else is threatened. Sweden and Finland recently requested to join NATO because of Putin’s aggressive threats to all it’s neighbours. In which case Western foreign policy towards Putin also makes sense. Putin sent assassins to the UK twice using military grade biological and chemical weapons against Russians living here. He has also eliminated any political opposition using trumped up charges and death.
I used to have some sympathy for the Irish republicans early on in the ‘troubles’, especially as they considered themselves ‘Freedom Fighters’. I came to understand that they weren’t interested in freedom for all but only themselves and only within the IRA as it was death to anyone that opposed them. As it was evident I was a target being British (we had a bomb go off outside our Christmas party) it was now academic whatever their views were and so I wished for their defeat.

Western foreign policy towards Putin also makes sense

Actually, Western policy towards Russia doesn’t make sense. This is because the fundamental element of Western policy is the breakup of Russia. In the current circumstances of Russia’s military strength, the intense patriotism of the Russian people, and our own military and social weakness, this policy is completely deranged.

All the ‘young men of fighting age’ were allowed in by your government, and they continue to allow them in. I am surprised you do not blame that on Putin too but it is hardly the case. The attack on Israel on 7th October 2023 was the result of decades of Israeli suppression of the Palestinian people. Israel has responded every single day of the more than 600 since then, killing thousands upon thousands of Palestinians. The only global facet of that mess is that Israel is guilty of genocide and every one of the 153 countries that ratified or acceded to the Genocide Convention should be preventing it, including, of course, UK. You accuse Russia of all sorts of misdeeds but make no mention of USA, NATO or EU, that altogether happily encourage or carry out regime change in foreign countries, invade and bomb numerous countries, as well as being responsible for literally millions of deaths all over the world. What European country has been invaded by Russia? What country anywhere has been invaded by China? Zero and zero, and yet you accuse them and others of threatening the West? You complain that North Koreans have been fighting alongside… Read more »

Russia invaded: Georgia Chechnya Estonia Latvia Lithuania Poland Czechoslovakia Germany Romania Transnistria Moldova Ukraine Of course some of these invasions were in the course of expelling the Nazi German army, but unlike the Allies in the West, Russia had no intention of restoring freedom to the countries it invaded. Outside Europe Russia invaded and supported revolution in: Korea Afghanistan Vietnam Laos Cambodia Sinai Ethio-Somali War Abkhazia Tajikistan Dagestan Syria Central African Republic Mali Burkina Faso There have been 32 Military Coups in Africa (look at the weapon of choice – AK47), there is the ongoing Naxalite–Maoist insurgency in India, the 45 left wing or Marxist guerrilla groups in South and Central America (there are only 3 US backed guerrilla groups); In other words the deliberate destabilization of sovereign countries. In all the usual Marxist propaganda papers like China Daily or The Morning Star it is only ever the west, and particularly the US that is criticized for causing wars or daring to stop Marxists revolutionaries. Capitalism and colonialism is blamed for all the ills of Africa while the Marxist revolutionaries make every effort to bring about war and instability. A. H. was also a socialist. Here are his thoughts on the matter.
“Socialism is the science of dealing with the common weal [health or well-being]. Communism is not Socialism. Marxism is not Socialism. The Marxians have stolen the term and confused its meaning. I shall take Socialism away from the Socialists.
‘Socialism is an ancient Aryan, Germanic institution. Our German ancestors held certain lands in common. They cultivated the idea of the common weal. Marxism has no right to disguise itself as socialism. Socialism, unlike Marxism, does not repudiate private property. Unlike Marxism, it involves no negation of personality and, unlike Marxism, it is patriotic.
‘We might have called ourselves the Liberal Party. We chose to call ourselves the National Socialists. We are not internationalists. Our Socialism is national. We demand the fulfilment of the just claims of the productive classes by the State on the basis of race solidarity. To us, State and race are one…”

I visited Vietnam and Cambodia this year and they both seemed pretty vibrant and busy. The Vietnamese are very friendly and hard working and they like the US. Ho Chi Minh’s communist collective farms were dropped following famines (who’d of thought) and they appear to have adopted free market capitalism. Cambodia did have a certain air about it but the hotel we stayed at was opposite a compound used by Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge to torture and murder people. It was pretty sobering, as you can imagine. Of course that is also the fault of the US. Everything is just like all weather is Climate Change and also the fault of the US.

Congratulations on visiting Vietnam and Cambodia. I am sure they are very friendly to all tourists but USA has one hell of a legacy: you only need to do a search on YouTube for “Vietnamese agent orange” to get a list of horrifying videos. I was actually looking for a video I watched recently but could not find it. However, those listed upon my search were far more horrifying. I am as capitalist as the next man, I am only trying to point out that Russia is no longer a communist state. Putin has really pulled the country out of its ashes and can be exceedingly proud of what he has achieved. That our mainstream media classify him as an evil monster is just part of the programme. China appears to be another total success story. Yes, they are governed by the CCP but is that so different from UK, with its video cameras at every corner, a government clearly determined to destroy everything English, two-tier justice system and so on? Of course Pol Pot’s regime was disgusting but did the West try to change anything? No, that was Vietnam. We never do anything for the good of others, only… Read more »

Larry Johnson reported this morning that “British, French, Polish and Australian troops are now entering Odessa, taking up positions in Odessa”.

Is that true? Because, if so, he is certainly right to say “I expect the Russians will be killing a bunch of them within the next week or two”.

Is this the reason for us supposedly preparing for war?

Any British troops in Ukraine will be slaughtered by the Russians – guaranteed. Is Starmer and Co. then going to declare war on Russia?!
