Lucy Connolly Being “Manhandled” in Prison, Says Richard Tice Following Visit
Lucy Connolly has been mistreated by prison officers who have handcuffed her, “manhandled her without provocation” and stripped her of privileges, Reform Deputy Leader Richard Tice has said after visiting her today. The Mail has more.
Reform UK’s Deputy Leader claimed Connolly was “manhandled without provocation” after visiting her today at HMP Peterborough, where she is serving a 31-month sentence for posting a racist tweet in the wake of the Southport attacks.
The former childminder, who is the wife of Tory councillor Ray Connolly, posted a 51-word online rant about migrants hours after Axel Rudakubana murdered three young girls in Southport on July 29th last year.
Her sentence, which she unsuccessfully appealed last month, has been at the centre of a free speech row, with critics including former PM Boris Johnson and Tory leader Kemi Badenoch claiming it was too harsh.
Mr Tice has even proposed a bill – named ‘Lucy’s Bill’ – which would allow people to mount mass appeals against punishments they deem to be too severe or lenient.
Connolly was allegedly mistreated after she was told she wouldn’t be transferred to an enhanced wing with full privileges, but would instead be thrown into a 23-hour-a-day lockdown with the most violent prisoners.
When she challenged the decision, she was allegedly restrained by officers with handcuffs and taken to her new cell in what Mr Tice claimed was a “politically motivated” response.
After visiting Ms Connolly in prison, Mr Tice told reporters: “Five days after the incident, the bruises on her wrists are still significant – yellow. It was obviously horrible what she went through.
“On Thursday, she was manhandled, mistreated with no provocation. She was denied enhanced accommodation to which she was entitled and they gave her, frankly, the Nutters Wild Wing – druggies, violence.
“You have to think it’s politically motivated. I think the next few weeks before her release are going to be very challenging, worrying. I think it would suit the authorities to want to provoke a violent reaction from Lucy. I told Lucy to be very careful.”
The deputy Reform leader said he met with HMP Peterborough’s Head of Security, explaining: “He is looking at the complaint seriously. When we get the result of that complaint – if they have ‘lost’ the bodycam footage or any of that funny business then I will escalate the complaint and meet the Governor.”
Mr Tice added: “I genuinely fear that she is actually being treated as a political prisoner for political purposes.”

It’s obvious that Lucy Connolly is a political prisoner. By means of the grotesquely unjust sentence she received our decadent, degenerate, deranged, death-wishing Establishment is saying to us:
“How dare you oppose being replaced.”
“How dare you object to your children being murdered by the people we have imported.”
“How dare you object to the RoP rape-gangs targeting your children.”

What is “racist” about being anti-migrant. “Migrant” is not a race! With friends like The Mail, who needs enemies?
Connolly sent a tweet which criticized the way the present government is handling illegal immigration. As illegal immigrant is not a race, such a comment cannot be racist.
Neither can it possibly be construed as incitement, at least not to anybody who understands English.
We see and hear far worse every day from the left with no consequences.
She’s a political prisoner, and the whole thing stinks.
Are any of the other political prisoners ( whose identities aren’t household names ) getting these types of visits, though? Why is there such disproportionate interest and focus on just one person’s plight?

I found out by chance when I was a school governor that all the meat they were serving in my kids’ schools was halal- they didn’t really tell anyone and my fellow governors didn’t know much about halal methods either.
Thanks for this – I wasn’t aware at all. Both companies just made my List, and I will contact both customer services to tell them they have received their last pennies from me.
But Halal Butchery is just like Kosher Butchery.
Both violate British laws against animal cruelty.
Both are granted “religious exemptions”, instead of making them import frozen halal/kosher meat from abroad.
You’ve got some dirty value systems operating in your institutions these days. I see it when I use the trains. The staff who man the station frankly sound like animals to me. I am used to drivel and nonsense and I don’t really like thinking of fellow human beings as untermensch but it is so apparent. Same if you go into a shop and ask for some advice. You get met by some grunting troglodyte who looked like he was pulled from under the nearest rock. I don’t have high standards at all and you seem to want to turn your country into the dimmest and ugliest place possible. For what? For television or football? It really isn’t worth it. For money? You have no money in terms of projections by economists you are likely to be even more the poor man of the world in a couple of years time. It is hard to admit but you are no longer on the winning team.

Well done to Richard Tice, MP for going there to visit her and expose this harsh treatment to the world. And to think how the police were filmed telling an armed Muslim Gang rampaging through British streets that they should stash their machetes in the local mosque, no questions asked, nor arrests made…
But how odd that he’s doing this only a few days after Rupert Lowe’s petition to Parliament for her release reached 100,000 signatures, and will be debated!

He has been badly burnt by the viciously hostile Communist reaction to his attempt at supporting British Patriots like Tommy Robinson and Rupert Lowe, so it’s not surprising that he decided to withdraw from politics for a while. He was only trying to help, but got absolutely savaged for it.
