Pakistan “Will Nuke Israel if Netanyahu Uses Nuclear Weapons Against Tehran”, Iran Claims

Pakistan has threatened to drop a nuclear warhead on Israel if Benjamin Netanyahu uses nuclear weapons against Iran, according to a top Iranian officer. The Mail has more.

General Mohsen Rezaee, a senior officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a member of Iran’s National Security Council, said in an interview: “Pakistan has assured us that if Israel uses a nuclear bomb on Iran, they will attack Israel with a nuclear bomb.”

Pakistan and Israel are two of the nine countries that currently possess nuclear weapons, according to experts.

Rezaee claimed that Pakistan has vowed to “stand behind Iran”, and called on the Islamic world to unite against Israel.

Today, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Asif denied Rezaee’s claims, reportedly saying: “Pakistan is signatory to all international nuclear disciplines; our nuclear capability is for our people’s benefit and defence against hostile designs.”

Last night, he noted that the world appears to be teetering on the edge of conflict as a result of the escalating attacks in the Middle East.

“[The] Western world must worry about conflicts generated by Israel.

“It will engulf the whole region and beyond; their patronage of Israel, a rogue state, can have catastrophic consequences.”

Meanwhile, US aircraft carrier USS Nimitz is currently heading to the Middle East after Donald Trump warned that Iran will experience “the full strength” of the American military if it attacks the US. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” the US President warned the fanatical Islamic regime.

According to the Mail, Iran has shown no signs of backing down in its conflict with Israel, “signalling its intention to involve allies in waging war against its arch-foe by forming an ‘Islamic Army’ and threatening to leave the Jewish state ‘uninhabitable'”.

Stop Press: Iran has been frantically signalling that it wants to end its escalating conflict with Israel and resume nuclear talks, according to officials. The Telegraph has more.

Tehran has been sending urgent messages that it would be open to returning to the negotiating table if the US doesn’t join in the attacks, while telling Israel it is in both sides’ interests to restrain the violence, sources told the Wall Street Journal.

It comes as Israel ordered a major evacuation warning for parts of Tehran ahead of an expected escalation in its aerial campaign against the Iranian capital.

The country’s leaders had warned that Tehran’s residents would “pay the price” for the third night of missile strikes on Israeli cities, which have so far killed at least 24 people and wounded more than 500.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister, has declared Israel now “controls the skies” above Tehran after its military claimed to have wiped out one third of all Iran’s surface-to-surface missile launchers.

In response to the threat, thousands of Iranians are fleeing the capital and stockpiling essential supplies with huge traffic jams reported on its main roads.

And in the event of even a limited nuclear exchange the prevailing winds would carry fallout over Iraq, then Iran, then Pakistan.

This is complete BS and if you read the article it says the Pakistani Defense Minister even denies this claim. Currently the IDF are bombing Tehran airport, so that’s good. Am Ysrael Chai, mother f***ers! Meanwhile, also Pakistan; ”QUETTA, Pakistan: Pakistan has closed all its border crossings with neighbouring Iran for an indefinite period, provincial officials said on Monday (Jun 16), as Israel and Iran trade intense strikes and threaten further attacks. “Border facilities in all five districts – Chaghi, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech and Gwadar – have been suspended,” Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani, a senior official in Balochistan province, which borders Iran, told AFP. Pakistan, the only Muslim-majority country with nuclear weapons, said on Friday it “stands in solidarity with the Government and the people of Iran” against strikes by Israel, which both Islamabad and Tehran do not recognise. Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Monday warned that the world “should be wary and apprehensive about Israel’s nuclear prowess” and accused it of lacking “any international nuclear discipline”. Israel is the Middle East’s only nuclear power, although undeclared. Media reports have said Pakistan may support Tehran if the conflict were to widen, but officials in Islamabad have reiterated that their country is only… Read more »

That’s fine, then every Pakistani in Britain will be deported back to help the Pakistani War Effort, as they will surely be eager to do.

The only circumstance in which Israel would use nuclear weapons in Iran would be if they thought they were about to lose the war and cease to exist. Essentially, the same as the cold war Mutually Assured Destruction ‘doctrine’.

Early days yet but I don’t think Israel is going to lose.

The question is, of course, does Iran have the means to make a nuke?

The bomb is the only chance Iran has to be left alone- see N Korea.
Ok, a few zealots say they want to destroy Israel but the grown ups realise full well that were they to strike first the US would nuke them to dust..
You can forget regime change- especially after recent events.

So should Pakistan vow to use first strike nuke(s) on Israel if they don’t leave Iran alone to do their thing?

As for ‘see N. Korea‘. I’d very much rather not.

I doubt that even the US has the military capability to launch a successful amphibious and airborne invasion of Iran, it would need to be a land invasion.
Given that a lot of Iran is rugged mountainous terrain the only country the US could invade from is Iraq. Imo the real reason the US invaded Iraq was to provide it with a starting point for a full scale invasion of Iran. Their assumption would have been that they could easily defeat Iraq, spend 6-12 months building up forces and supply lines then attack Iran. The first part of their assumption was correct, they defeated the Iraqi army and toppled Saddam in 38 days with only a few hundred US personnel killed. What they failed to anticipate was the aftermath of the initial war.

Only a fairly small percentage of Iranian missiles/drones get through Israel’s Iron Dome. They would need a lot of nukes to have any chance of destroying an Israeli city whereas Israel seems to be able to easily overcome Iranian air defences and would only need 1 or 2 nukes to destroy Tehran.
