Sir Keir Set to Launch Full National Inquiry Into Grooming Gangs in Latest U-turn, Following Months of Mounting Pressure
Sir Keir Starmer has caved to pressure and announced a national inquiry into the rape gangs scandal after months of criticism from his political opponents. The Mail has more.
In a major U-turn, the Prime Minister said setting up a statutory investigation into the scandal was the “right thing to do” despite previously insisting it would take too long and that local reviews were sufficient.
He dramatically changed his mind after reading “every single word” of the report he commissioned into the exploitation of thousands of girls across the country, due to be published next week, which is said to explicitly link it to men of Pakistani origin.
The audit by Whitehall troubleshooter Baroness Casey is understood to have recommended that a new national inquiry be established in order to look at the race of perpetrators.
It is also expected to warn that white British girls who were exploited in towns across the country were “institutionally ignored for fear of racism”. …
Asked when it would start work, the PM replied: “It will be statutory under the Inquiries Act. That will take a bit of time to sort out exactly how that works and we will set that out in an orderly way.”

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, who has repeatedly demanded the PM launch a full inquiry, said: “Keir Starmer doesn’t know what he thinks unless an official report has told him so. Just like he dismissed concerns about the winter fuel payment and then had to U-turn, just like he needed the Supreme Court to tell him what a woman is, he had to be led by the nose to make this correct decision here.
“I’ve been repeatedly calling for a full national inquiry since January. It’s about time he recognised he made a mistake and apologise for six wasted months.”

Ah, but what’s the possibility that the enquiry will reach the conclusions that about 70% of the British population has already reached:
multiculturalism has failed,
certain cultures find the rape of women acceptable,
muslims are treated as untouchable by the police,
mass immigration from third world countries has caused serious problems that could easily result in civil war,
etc, etc.
What possible solutions would an enquiry propose, considering that the government will never address the root cause of the problem?
It’s a waste of time. It will take 5 years, during which time the dinghies will keep coming. It will come up with some generalized fake conclusion like “there is a problem with male violence“.
In the meantime the cultural enrichment of Britain will continue.

The terms of the enquiry will be as limited as possible and it will report after the election. The pressure cooker is still going to explode once people realise there is no redress for the rape and in some cases murder of their children.

This has been a masterpiece in post-rationalisation. It is now the right thing to do, we are told, so not a knee jerk reaction by a bunch of hard right racists
If we’re charitable, we could suggest that Starmer has been forced into a corner by facts, but has bought enough time to work out a whitewash strategy for this Inquiry. It would show that he knows what he is doing, but is on the back foot. He would be a competent leader of the country in the vein of Ceausescu, and worthy of similar honour.
The alternative is that he’s so ideologically blinkered and socially cloistered that he really does think Tommy Robinson is enlisting an army of low-class slags to stir up racist bigotry against an innocent community. In other words, it would show he’s not fit to lead a cub-pack.
However, the second option has really been torpedoed by Dominic Cummings’s belated revelations.
And most of the early culprits, social workers, police, DPP staff will have retired. Oh dear no punishment.
I wonder if something truly nasty is looming which would prevent Kneel from actually letting this “Inquiry” from getting off the ground or dragging on in a festering fashion as his needs require?

I initially thought Starmer’s U-turn was just in order to take the wind out of Rupert Lowe’s sails, but now it seems that Dominic Cummings forced Starmer’s hand by doing the right thing at last, telling the truth about the cover-up.

You don’t need a bloody enquiry. Many white girls grew up in fatherless homes where they had no one to protect them and then Pakistani Muslim rape gangs picked up on that.
