Tories Sink to Lowest Ever Poll Rating
The Conservative Party has sunk to its lowest ever poll rating, after a YouGov poll carried out on Sunday and Monday found the Tories are now in fourth place on just 16%. Reform is flying on 29% ahead of Labour on 22%. The Telegraph has more.
It comes after the Conservatives lost every single council they were defending at this month’s local elections and as Reform UK continues to surge.
The Tories are in fourth position for the first time since June 2019, which was at the height of the Brexit deadlock and shortly before Baroness May was forced out of Downing Street.
The YouGov poll of 2,222 adults put Reform in the lead on 29%, up one point on the previous week. It has extended its lead over Labour, which was in second on 22%.
The Conservatives, meanwhile, were down two points on the previous week and have been overtaken by the Liberal Democrats, who were up by one point and polling at 17%.
The Conservatives have not come fourth in a YouGov poll since June 5th and 6th 2019, when The Brexit Party, Mr Farage’s former outfit, took the lead for the first time.
The 2019 survey came in the wake of the Tories’ wipeout at the European elections, when the party got less than 9% of the vote in a defeat that forced Baroness May’s resignation as Prime Minister.
The Tories reached a pandemic high of 53% with YouGov on April 17th 2020.
But the party had sunk to 28% by Jan 12, 2022, after the Partygate scandal emerged, and hit a low of 19% in the same year under Liz Truss on October 21st in the wake of the mini-Budget.
An initial bounce under Rishi Sunak saw the party recover to 28% by April 19th 2023, but this had dipped to 20% by January 17th 2024 amid backbench efforts to oust the then Prime Minister.
The Tories were at just 18% with YouGov on May 1st 2024, shortly before Mr Sunak called an early General Election. On July 3rd 2024, the day before Britain went to the polls, the Tories were back up to 22%.

On 4 Jun 2024, Conservative Health Secretary, Victoria Atkins said:
“‘Vote for Reform is a vote for Labour”.
By that logic, surely a vote for The Conservative Party is now a vote for labour. I trust that the traitorous party’s few remaining supporters will give it their full attention and finally leave the sinking ship.
A vote for the Fake Conservatives has for a long time been a vote for Socialism.
It all depends on which constituency you are in, under first past the post. Not necessarily proportional, after all. Not that there is much logic in polling, unless you can sell adverts, I suppose.
Labour on 22%. What sort of idiot would support that bunch of treacherous, Marxist ideologs?
Support might come from treacherous, Marxist ideologs and other left wing north London residents. Plus a few old time Labour supporters who don’t get out much.
Plus all those imported voters, and soon, children!
Nah. They’ll likely vote for the Gaza Party.
The kind of people that gush about him under the BBC article about his recent traitorous acts.
There’s no helping them I’m afraid.
Champagne Socialists; the Public Sector and their imported block vote ….although the block vote is starting to flex its muscle now with its own Faith-based Party.
The Conservative Party…?
You mean, the party that hates every single conservative idea: family, the nation state, freedom of speech?
You mean the party that enthusiastically embraced every single woke idea during its 14 years in government, from open borders to drag queens in schools?
Well, perhaps their voters have finally realized: they were duped. They hitched a ride on a coach thinking it was going to a wedding and it turned out to be the sewage truck!
Ah, but they have a new leader…! You mean the DEI recruit who was their minister for women and equalities…? The one that keeps asking Sir Kier softball questions in parliament? Not popular with the public? Not a vote winner? Oh dear, I wonder why.
The party that brought you “covid” lockdowns, “vaccine” passports, net zero, high taxes….
Yes. And who are Reform busily recruiting?
Firkin Tories.
Well I am sceptical but some of them might genuinely have seen sense
16% too many. They need to go or get off the pot, as the saying goes. Join Reform or the Lib Dems. Let’s say half do, that gives a bit more momentum and maybe more Labour voters will go with Reform, and some undecideds.
100% of the 16% is too many.
The Uniparty must die.
The Brexit Party and Reform UK are the same entity so it is not correct to referto TBP as “Mr Farage’s former outfit”. One might have expected the DT to know that.
Well, it also describes him as far-right, so probably not.
The final nail in the Tory coffin was when they announced an extra 1 million immigrants had come in under Buffoon Johnson. (Even recently Priti Patel was proud of this!). This announcement encapsulated the total betrayal of Tory voters since 2010.
The were given enough warnings, but they wouldn’t listen and chose the self-destruct option. There’s no way back for them now. There are still too far many woketards in the Party and CCHQ. They offer nothing and are now spiralling around the drain.
They also sold out N. Ireland which many of us will not forgive.
Yes, it was disgraceful how the 100th anniversary celebrations of Northern Ireland voting to join the UK, rejecting Ireland, were almost completely ignored by the media, and NOT A SINGLE ROYAL attended the loyalist celebrations in 2021.
To his enormous credit, then Prime Minister Boris Johnson was the only politician who attended the centenary celebrations.
He was also the one who stopped the malicious prosecutions of British Army veterans and loyalists, but his good work was overturned.

The most prevalent idea seems to be that of betrayal. It is interesting to look at the notion of betrayal. The people are beginnng to understand that they had unwarranted faith in the political class for a very long time. We all created this cesspool country and a large part of that was a lack of vigilance and mindfulness. No living creature should ever overlook the fact that we live in a predatory world and that reality is a nest of vipers. All of this slackness that started with the boomers. It is a beautiful idea. Don’t trouble yourself about anything and just consume and everything will work out well in the end and if it doesn’t then you will be long dead when the consequences have to be faced.
ever since I resigned from the Conservative Party on the day they pushed through the Maastricht Treaty I have looked forward to this.
It really looks as if those lying cheats are done for this time.
I hope you are right.
They will just fleece your pockets like a downtown scumbag but they will wear a suit. You saw it all in 2020 with the likes of Hancock selling a contract to his pub landlord. It doesn’t get more balatant and flagrant than that. Then the horrific wave of immigration from very poor countries that turned British cities from being tawdry squalid places into hellzones that are becoming more unliveable by the day. And of course the worst thing about this situation is that it is completely irreversible. No way back. And it is even worse then that because given relative breeding rates you are looking at major demographic shifts within a generation. There are certain acts that go beyond treason because they can spoil your country forever,
It seems the electorate skews conservative or libertarian, but at the same time, seem cautious in voting wise. They complain when they get run over and then complain when nothing is fixed, and then complain that politicians only respect people that are willing to exercise political muscle. Reform conservatives need to step up and quickly.
Au contraire I think the electorate skews strongly to the left these days – Reform around 30%, the rest are flavours of Big Government Socialism. I know almost nobody with libertarian views in real life.
I want the government monkey off everyone’s back, let adults decide how they live for themselves and have minimal legislation and regulation that is sufficient to keep the peace without crushing the spirit.
I agree, but unfortunately too few people embrace the concept of minarchism. Too used to sucking at nanny’s teat.
That’s exactly what Rupert Lowe was talking about when he said,
“We need a government that will put us first,
defend our interests,
and Get the Hell Out of Our Way!”
There has been research done on libertarian proclivities. The results are quite depressing. Support for liberty versus an authoritarian state ranges from about five percent to twenty percent depending on the political reality. You have to accept that most people are submissive. It is up to you what you want to do with them. Ideally keep them out of the way of the predators. Studies of reactions to life-threatening situations like when the ship The Estonia sunk have shown that there is a good twenty percent that will just sit down and give up and die. Thery won’t even try to find a way out. You can’t look at reality correctly without acknowledging these tendencies.
Many people do seem to be submissive and as far as I am concerned they can knock themselves out. The problems start when they see others that are not submissive and they want the power of the state to come and sort it out, otherwise they feel it is “unfair” – they are passive aggressive submissives who get vicarious pleasure watching other people getting bossed around.
Yes that is the problem the punishment is always collective and we all have to pay for their compliance. At this point the submissiveness needs to be perceived as a threat.
It certainly is a threat.
Could the Conservatives have a whip-round and buy a clue?
No, they would undoubtedly get the wrong idea about what a whip-round entails.
Flogging a dead horse, then.
Well Olukemi ADEGOKE has no intention of doing the decent thing and stepping down, and her relatives continue to pop up in British politics, such as the 29-year-old Nigerian woman named “Princess Bright” who claims to be the UK’s youngest mayor. Some have noticed that she is concealing her full “royal caste” surname of ADEGOKE, which means “bright” in Nigerian, so her father changed the family name to Bright when he joined the general stampede to Britain. Here she is projecting her idea of a “royal look” in her tricornered hat, which was designed for men, not women.

But her claim is false, because

Wetherby welcomes youngest ever mayor, aged 26 – BBC News
This is interesting, however, in another way, because years ago the Globalist plan to destroy the UK was reported to be to give Ethnic Africans all the ceremonial titles, wealth and costumes they adore, while the real political power was to be given to Muslims, and the Indigenous Brits trampled underfoot as the lowest “caste”. Wait and see.
Of course its wrong (although human) to judge by appearances, but, to me and completely ignoring the skin colour the expression of both young mayors contrast sharply.
One is faintly sinister and the other appears open and honest. I know which one I would trust.
Precisely!
Only question, how have the LDs risen?
That’s what I don’t understand, either! Are they just acting out their assigned Globalist role of pretending to be an opposition party with different ideas, while remaining a firm member of the Lib/Lab/Con Uniparty?
Like a kind of “decoy duck” for the voters?
Because some of the LibCONs who have infested the Tory Party in recent years have switched back to their real allegiance.
Historically, whenever the Tory Party was out of favour with its own supporters, they “parked” their votes with the Liberal Party which became the Social Democrat Liberal Party which became the Liberal Democrats.
These voters being Establishment-loving snobs, who cannot bring themselves to vote Labour with the lower orders, and these days certainly not for pro-Brexit (how ghastly) Reform UK yobs.
Lib Dumbs are sufficiently bland, standing for everything and nothing, to be a safe parking lot for disgruntled Tory voters.
That’s quite a good summary of their whole situation, and helps me to understand it better.
Lower please.
You cannot beat socialism whilst cherrypicking its low hanging fruit. The Tory party should just be the supporter of free-markets, small government and absolute freedom of thought, speech and action. And its role today should be to spread the relative social and economic virtue of these policies as a far better compact for the thriving of humanity than the system of poverty and theft proscribed by socialism.
