Tommy Robinson to be Released From Prison After High Court Reduces 18-Month Sentence for Contempt of Court

Tommy Robinson is due to be released from prison within the next week after his 18-month sentence for the civil offence of contempt of court was reduced by four months at the High Court after he showed a “change in attitude”. The Mail has the story.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was jailed last October after admitting multiple breaches of an injunction made in 2021, which barred him from repeating false allegations against a Syrian refugee who successfully sued him for libel.

The sentence comprised a 14-month ‘punitive’ element and a four-month ‘coercive’ element, with sentencing judge Mr Justice Johnson telling Robinson he could have the latter taken off his sentence if he were to “purge” his contempt by taking steps to comply with the injunction.

Robinson, who was previously due to be released on July 26th, applied to purge his contempt at a hearing today, with his lawyers telling the court that he had shown a “commitment” to comply with the order.

Lawyers for the Solicitor General said they agreed that Robinson had taken steps to adhere to the injunction.

In a ruling, Mr Justice Johnson said that there was an “absence of contrition or remorse” from Robinson, but that he had shown a “change in attitude” since he was sentenced.

He said: “He (Robinson) has given an assurance that he will comply with the injunction in the future, that he has no intention of breaching it again, and that he is aware of the consequences of what would happen if he breached the injunction again.”

He continued: “I consider it appropriate to grant the application.”

He added: “The practical effect, subject to confirmation by the prison authorities, is that the defendant will be released once he has completed the punitive element, which I understand will be within the next week.”

Robinson, who attended the hearing via video-link from HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes, showed no immediate reaction once the judgment was handed down.

I suspect, but I hope not that Mr Starmer has achieved his desire of breaking Mr Robinson mentally. Meanwhile I understand Lucy Connolly is to be kept in jail, clearly the example making has been insufficient and until she is broken by cruelty she will not be let out.
This Mr Starmer is no doubt communicating to us all the message, defy or say anything against my dogma and I will break you, and set you as an example to any one else thinking of doing the same.

I’m hoping for Tommy’s sake that he has just discovered that you don’t have to die on every hill, or to butt heads with our corrupt judiciary, especially when you keep coming off worst.

We all know the truth of this. We all know what our anti-white Establishment is aiming at. So maybe it’s time for Tommy to seek asylum in one of those few remaining countries where there’s still free speech. Russia, say. Or maybe China. Or perhaps Iran.

[And, yes, I am being sarcastic.]

We would love to have Tommy in the USA. And by the way, I think he would be happy to live under a democracy rather than a dictatorship in this country.

At long last! Thanks to Will Jones & the DS for this fantastic news!

I wonder what my former Baptist church will think, after they drove me out for praying for Tommy Robinson. When the preacher asked the congregation to briefly pray out loud in turns for someone, usually a relative or friend, and I prayed for Tommy Robinson and all the other British Patriots suffering unjust imprisonment for defending British children, a few days later the preacher rang me up to say that no fewer than 6 people had complained to him about me praying for Tommy, never saying a word to me themselves. He wouldn’t tell me who they were, but said I must agree never to mention Tommy Robinson’s name aloud in prayer or in church again, because the very mention of his name “upsets people”.

I never went back again.

May God bless British Patriot Tommy Robinson, and all the others unjustly imprisoned for DEFENDING CHILDREN from ALIEN RAPISTS & MURDERERS.

The actions of the anonymous fellow worshippers and of the preacher don’t seem very Christian to me

The curious thing is that the most Leftist church members, one of whom openly supports George Galloway and Gaza protesters in the UK, are the ones with the poshest accents.

Yes the shift has happened in my lifetime. When I was a kid, most Labour voters were working class and most Tory voters were middle class. Now, almost all the lefties I know are middle class (and most of the middle class people I know are lefties) and the same is true for working class people in the opposite direction. The only working class people left voting Labour are probably people on benefits, immigrants and public sector workers.

Not only the middle, but also the upper classes mostly seem to be socialists. The posh-accented Gaza protest supporter once shocked me, after I asked him whether he was teaching any basic Sunday school things to the little kids who came to the church play group, of which he was in charge. His reply implied that they and their parents were all too thick to understand such things, being uneducated working class.

I was rendered speechless by his arrogance. It seems that some well-off Leftists join churches full of working class people in order to “train” them in the “correct way to think”.

Nipping any patriotic tendencies in the bud, so to speak.

The London Irish chippy I worked with recently has an anger management problem which was quite funny when he attacked a ladder but I think he would leave you literally speechless if you tried to justify Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians.

I don’t care one way or the other, because foreign wars have nothing to do with the British Isles, neither in Gaza, nor in Ukraine, or anywhere else. Let them fight it out amongst themselves.

That Irish chippy should be focusing on defending his native Ireland from the Invading Hordes from the Third World, as Irish Patriot Conor McGregor has been trying to do.

Do you know that ‘Jews for Peace’ also marched on those demonstrations?
How should they be caricatured.

I don’t care. WE ARE NOT THE WORLD’S POLICEMAN.

We should stay out of all foreign wars and focus on protecting our own people, our own culture, and the lands our own ancestors built into great nations, everywhere they went on the planet.

Why should our own police and security forces WASTE THEIR TIME and taxpayers’ money policing protests and tracking Muslim Terrorists about things that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BRITISH ISLES?

And therein lies the problem. Far too many people still believe (the propaganda) everything published or broadcast by the carefully ‘managed’ legacy media, and even now believe that Tommy is an evil racist.
Bless you Heretic and well done. Heroes like Tommy need more heroes like you.
A big thank is due to all those who supported Tommy against a spiteful evil and corrupt cabal.
2TK has a lot to answer for.

I agree with Tommy Robinson on some things and not others.
However, his persecution by the “establishment” is grotesque.
The Reform Party success in elections has changed the governments narrative on immigration.
As the Reform Party have distanced itself from Tommy Robinson perhaps he should set up his own political party to rival Reform so that they also are forced to change their policy to be more aggressive towards immigration and to stand up more for the working class of the UK who have suffered most from uncontrolled immigration.

Rupert is in a party of one, where he is most comfortable. Tommy (…and I’m a supporter too…’) is highly toxic in the minds of everyone who has taken the MSM coverage at face value rather than a close interest in the truth. Neither of them is the answer.

Add Ben Habib into the mix and you’d have quite the formidable ‘dream’ team. Sadly the Legacy Media (still followed and believed by far too many) would not play ball.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon…”

Why do media always say this? What’s so vital we know his “real” name?

NeilParkin

Its because the so called journalist can demonstrate their in-depth knowledge of the cases, by regurgitating the second paragraph of Tommy’s Wiki. They think it makes them cool and ‘in the know’. It doesn’t.

No, that’s not why they do it. They do it to imply that Tommy is somehow criminal for using other names.

It’s their way of insinuating that he is somehow criminal and underhanded for using other names.

That’s why it’s important not to let them get away with it, by using their own tactics. For example, “Badenoch, whose real name is Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke, a member of the Nigerian “Royal Caste” of Adegoke”.

I am not really sure why the British attach their fate to this grubby charlatan. Are you really that deficient and lacking in culture? I don’t even like inquiring like I don’t like lifting up a rock and seeing the insect life living underneath.
