“The Resistance will be woke”
In the former Soviet Union, long after his death and the fall of communism it was still common for people to have the portrait of ‘Uncle Joe’ Stalin on their walls.
So too, the self declared virtuous and morally secure will still maintain that men are women, and diversity is our strength long after the rest of us have all moved on.
“What has Ofcom got against the Carry On films?”
A feature of left wing ideology is that it can never be pure enough. It has to be refined and progressed. There is never a time where they say ‘Thats enough’. Its never ‘enough’.
“Pope Leo XIV ‘ignored’ child sex abuse allegations his Chicago church”
Well, this is totally unexpected…!
But so have over 600 UK MPs, 50 local authorities, the BBC, the NHS in plain sight … the list is endless. It’s ‘what’s to be done’ that’s important, yet most people haven’t a clue it’s been happening in their locality, or what to do about it.
“I’m not coming back… but Badenoch can beat Farage
Oh Boris, you are funny..!
Can anyone take this man seriously?
Take this man.
Seriously.
How does he make his mouth say such shyte and still keep a straight face?
Basic core skill for a politician.
That is really the last straw for me— I never imagined that Boris would turn out to be such a doormat.

“Ed Miliband’s Net Zero target is now in tatters”
It was always in tatters. It was technically and practically unachievable from minute one. When the committee are telling you the only way to reach nett zero is to stop farming and importing or exporting goods by sea, surely a light would go on in your head that maybe this wasn’t properly thought through. Pressing on, as they will continue to do, requires the complete suspension of disbelief.
Disbelief has not been suspended just ignored. Maybe even supressed.
If only Britain could be powered by wishful thinking and bad maths
That’s a Tee-shirt right there.!
Head of Royal Navy steps down ‘over affair with female subordinate‘
This is why we need more ships.
Rear Admirals do not appear to have sufficient work to keep them fully occupied.
The Navy still has some ships..?

Sadly my view of it was obscured by some “green” vessel moored alongside it, last time I was talking along the embankment opposite it.
George Galloway visits Moscow after picking up Hamas award These are the types of people gathered in Moscow this weekend: venal scum lining their pockets. “People like him turn to Russia and to the cold yet very confining embrace of the Russian government because they’re opportunists,” “They see a financial and career opportunity by working for and with the Russians. By that I mean bad Russians, the very same bureaucrats who are enabling Russian fascists today and are enabling this attempt at a genocide in Ukraine.” “Desperate men like him have frequently come to Russia to get a fresh start. It’s true that Russians will overlook anything as long as you’re useful to them. They don’t care,” https://www.euronews.com/2023/05/24/why-do-disgraced-americans-like-scott-ritter-spout-pro-putin-propaganda-in-russia Mr Galloway is due to host a talk show from Moscow on Sunday evening which will be broadcast on X and other social media platforms. ‘One legal expert said that although Hamas was a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK, Mr Galloway’s praise for Haniyeh, one of its senior leaders, was not in breach of terrorism laws.’ ‘Stephen Brisley, from Bridgend in South Wales, whose sister Lianne Sharabi and two nieces Yahel, 13, and Noiya, 16, were killed on Kibbutz Be’eri on… Read more »
Why is he allowed back? He’s a traitor
Yes, he’s part of The Unholy Muslim-Marxist Alliance, also called “The Red-Green Alliance”.
Just where does your distaste for Russians and all things Russian come from? Have you ever been there? Have you ever been to Ukraine? Why are you digging out 2 year old articles, criticizing Scott Ritter once again? Scott Ritter is a highly respected expert on military subjects and Russia, participating in a number of on-line video discussions every week. I would love to see you both discussing the subject of the conflict in Ukraine! Apparently there are still 59 hostages, alive and dead, held by Hamas. Why is there absolutely no attempt whatsoever by Netanyahu and his extremist government to actually talk to Hamas and try to get the hostages back? And, while it must be an absolutely terrible ordeal for the relatives of those hostages, especially since their government does nothing whatsoever to ensure their safety, should they still be alive, the continuing slaughter and starvation of over two million Palestinians – none of whose names is ever published – is an ordeal a thousand times greater. It is the West, primarily USA of course but also UK and others, that support and arm both Ukraine and Israel, completely ignoring the fact that both countries are guilty of… Read more »
ONS chief quits amid criticism of ‘flawed data‘ Symptomatic of the shambles in Whitehall: ‘The ONS was formed on 1 April 1996 by the merger of the Central Statistical Office (CSO) and the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys (OPCS) Statisticians are also employed by many other Government departments and agencies, and these statisticians often collect and publish data. They are members of the Government Statistical Service and are the professional responsibility of the head of the service, who is also the National Statistician. Each department has a statistical service Head of Profession. For example, data on Agriculture, Fishing and Forestry comes primarily from the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Along with economic data on which the Treasury and Bank of England rely for decision-making, many of the statistics that receive widespread media attention are issued by the Home Office, the Department of Health, and the Department for Education and Skills.’ Unsurprisingly, then: ‘In December 2012 the ONS new website to provide statistics to the public was described as “a disaster” by members of parliament on the Public Administration Committee. The chair of the UK Statistics Authority……admitted that its state at the time made it “difficult to use, difficult to navigate and difficult to search” In 2016,… Read more »
Or in the famous phrase: ‘Lies, dammed lies, and yet more government propaganda’
Head of Royal Navy steps down ‘over affair with female subordinate
There have been similar cases in living memory concerning senior figures within all three services.
What does this say about the kind of individuals being promoted to high rank?
Are they being promoted on the basis of professional competence or merely on the basis of ‘political’ competence?
There are far too many ‘politicians’ of senior rank in the Armed Forces and they are not conducive to excellence in performance or morale.
That is one reason why the retention of the most competent and experienced is so poor. The good ones know they will succeed outside the services……
That is also the reason that, at the onset of war, so many high ranking officers have to be replaced, with alacrity, often, as in the case of Singapore February 1942, too late…..
Of course, the other point here is that, given the small size of our Armed Forces now, no senior officer is required to run anything larger than a ‘two star’ command.
And yet we have layers of two stars, three stars and four stars serving, many of them, evidently, without enough ‘on their hands’.
Pay them more at junior levels, promote the competent fast and early; then, after two stars, retire them to handsome stipends within the private sector, medals and tea…….
They can then do their senior canoodling, if they must, once retired……..
This is just insane. Harassment of a religion? ”A man has been charged in Britain for “intent to cause against the religious institution of ISLAM harassment, alarm or distress” after burning a Qur’an. It would be bad enough to prosecute him for offending a Muslim. But now the state is prosecuting people for protesting Islam as an entity. Pakistani Labour MP Tahir Ali demanded in Parliament last November that Keir Starmer “commit to introducing measures to prohibit the desecration of all religious texts and the prophets of the Abrahamic religions.” It seems our activist judiciary has beaten him to it. Britain has a defacto Islamic blasphemy law, and therefore a new state religion.” https://x.com/Con_Tomlinson/status/1920820034487627834 ”Lawyer Akua Reindorf said it was “plainly defective” because the “religious institution of Islam” was not a “person” for the purposes of the Act. The Crown Prosecution Service’s decision was “tantamount” to bringing a charge of blasphemy. Ms Reindorf said that a conviction on the basis of available facts “would amount to the criminalisation of the act of desecrating a religious text in a public place”. Blasphemy was abolished as a common law offence in England and Wales in 2008. Mr Jenrick said: “Burning the Koran,… Read more »
I keep saying this; ordinary, decent, non-woke, white non-Islamic Britons are at war with our own Government and with the institutions of State. We are in a state of war.
Yes, exactly. And you’ll notice that when it comes to Islam, tolerance is very much a one-way street. I’m not a fan of burning religious books but it sure as hell should not be a criminal offence, same as drawing anybody’s god/deity/paedo prophet.
Meanwhile, you’ve got this sackless, duplicitous prat at the helm. Wonder if the rumours are true that his wife’s left him;
”Royal Navy sailors are not “troops” you numb-skull. And the surreal irony of you aboard a naval vessel talking about security, whilst fighting-age Afro/Islamists storm our beaches without ID or checks for a violent/rapey past life is beyond satire. You are England’s No 1 enemy.”

Absolutely.
“The religious institution of Islam.” Would that be the World Federation of Sunni-Shia-Sufi-Amahdi-Yazidi-Druze brotherhood, represented in court by its chief theologian? Or is the institution a branch of the Official Brotherhood of Man, based in New York and speaking on on behalf of all good men everywhere? Or are we dealing with a non-existent crime against a non-existent entity?
“What has Ofcom got against the Carry On films?”
Ooooo-er.
This kind of thing will only grow.
Ooooo-er.
“Head of Royal Navy steps down ‘over affair with female subordinate’”
I wondered why they felt the need to add the word ‘female’?
Would it have been any more acceptable if it had been a male subordinate?
Given its the Navy, I wouldn’t like to say…
At least they seem to be able to define it now.
A sign of the woke times, indeed. If you’re not aware of the giant, bronze sculptures of random black women that have been erected in Times Square and also Florence and you’re rightfully asking ”why?”, I think this author nails it. I think the one in Italy just seems to be symbolic of people’s obsession with their phones nowadays. They never look up and are oblivious to what’s happening in the world around them, especially with ear buds in; ”A 12-foot bronze statue now towers over Times Square — not of a historical figure, not of a leader or a liberator, but of a fictional “Black woman” in casual clothing, hands on hips, faceless, nameless, and invented entirely for the sake of “representation.” That word again. Representation of what, exactly? Achievement? History? Courage? No. Just race. Just size. Just narrative. Race, not as a shared struggle or historical context, but as an aesthetic. Size, not as a reflection of lived experience or resilience, but as a political statement meant to normalize and glorify what would once be addressed with concern. And narrative? A story not rooted in fact, sacrifice, or virtue, but in ideology. The narrative being pushed is this: It… Read more »
I think they’re trying to tell us something;
”New York’s city hall removed a statue of Thomas Jefferson in 2021 due to political correctness.
Fast forward to 2025, and a statue of a ‘plus sized’ black woman is being displayed in Times Square in the name of ‘diversity.’”

Top comment;
”A black woman about to punch someone because her McDonald’s order is taking more than three minutes.
I don’t know why the black community is happy about this representation, but anyway..”
I don’t suppose many people (or even any people) in the ‘black community’ have been consulted. It’s public ‘art’ – the people who actually pay for it and/or have to live with it every day never seem to be asked if they want it.
We seem to have lost the ability to choose our heroes wisely…

When are the authorities going to be held to account for allowing such behaviours?
He’s probably eligible for day-release next week.
Why are such dangerous criminals allowed anywhere near boiling water.
In the US someone like that would be in maximum security, mainly in solitary.
“Leeds, Glasgow and Sheffield, there are only three more British cities with a population of more than 500,000. CityMayor’s table of top UK cities is made up of the country’s 200 largest cities, towns and districts”
net immigration stands at 525000 per year!
Are we building new cities the size of Leeds every year to accommodate them? If not, where the f@uk are they going?
“Head of Royal Navy steps down ‘over affair with female subordinate”
Really? Less of a flying f#£k i couldn’t give!
A married man sleeps with another women and that’s news?
Must admit, it does seem a bit quaint to be concerned about this in the vast sea of problems we’re facing.
It was for John Profumo. Same rules apply. Infidelity is putting yourself and your position in jeopardy, even in a much more progressive time like now.
Sort of but with Profumo there was an indirect link to a known intelligence operative was there not?
Smokescreen for his dissent of the direction of the service, perhaps?
Ferrari is most likely right about being fired. But is she “out of touch”? She is very much in touch with a certain audience who think, like her, that references to the rape gangs are a “dog whistle” – probably a lot of Radio 4 listeners agreed with her. She just unwisely said what she really thinks. I’m sure she knows that her view is not popular among many and I am sure she is not surprised now about the furore, in hindsight. Maybe she felt comfortable and forgot herself, didn’t think anyone but Radio 4 listeners would notice.

I suppose tax-funded tattoo parlours will now be provided for the hordes of money grabbing illegal and asylum seekers so they can likewise be ‘disfigured’ to strengthen their claim to stay here. Sigh…
How is this even possible ???!!! What the blazes kind of “PUNISHMENT” is this, letting yet another Ethnic African Muslim Terrorist who tried to kill 13 people now try to kill a 14th person, while still in prison???
At least some heroic inmate, bless him, managed to “accidentally” knock the teeth out of the Ethnic African Muslim Terrorist Filth who beheaded Fusilier Lee Rigby!
And yet only a few weeks after another Muslim Terrorist Filth now in Belmarsh nearly killed 3 prison officers, and the Pakistani Muslim “Justice” Minister MAHMOOD vowed to ensure that it would never happen again, IT HAPPENED AGAIN!
This is the same Belmarsh Prison where Tommy Robinson is being held in solitary for a CIVIL OFFENCE!!! And in the exact same prison cell that was once occupied by LEE RIGBY’S MURDERER!!!
SACK MAHMOOD, or better yet, ARREST HER FOR TREASONOUS COLLUSION TO PROTECT MUSLIM TERRORISTS.
She’s an absolute DISGRACE to the nation.
