Lucy Connolly is Again Refused Leave to See Daughter and Sick Husband
Lucy Connolly, who was jailed for 31 months over a tweet ahead of last summer’s riots, has again been refused temporary leave to spend time with her daughter and sick husband. The Telegraph has the story.
Lucy Connolly, who was jailed for 31 months for inciting racial hatred in a tweet, has been told by prison bosses she will not be released on temporary licence (Rotl) despite being described by one prison expert as an “ideal candidate” for such home leave.
Documents seen by the Telegraph have previously suggested the 42 year-old childminder from Northampton faced being refused Rotl amid concerns over public and media interest in her case rather than any apparent failure to meet the criteria for temporary release.
In her plea for Rotl, Connolly cited a deterioration in her 12 year-old daughter’s school behaviour which is “totally out of character” and the stress being placed on her sick husband, Ray, a Tory councillor, who is suffering from bone marrow failure.
A HM Prison Service spokesman declined to comment on individual cases but said: “To be eligible for temporary release, prisoners must be compliant with all prison rules.”
The prison service refused to say why Connolly had been rejected for Rotl but noted there are rules that dictate any contact with the media needs to be signed off by the prison governor.
Adam King, Connolly’s barrister, who is leading her legal attempt to appeal against her sentence, said: “We don’t have the full details but this strikes me as very unfair and needs to be challenged.”
Connolly’s husband said: “I am very disappointed that my wife Lucy has yet again been denied Rotl. I’m disappointed this is what our country is becoming. Our 12 year-old daughter is struggling and she needs her mummy at home.
“This decision is not based on evidence in my opinion. Lucy is a good and kind person who has been a model prisoner. She has helped other inmates on the path to reform.
“Lucy has been entitled to Rotl since November but they have turned down every request. It’s not nice to think they’ve got it in for Lucy but when she sees other prisoners who have done far worse crimes – like killing a child by dangerous driving – getting out, you think they’re still making an example of her.
“Lucy was really calm when they told her she didn’t get Rotl this time and would only be able to apply again in 12 weeks. Lucy has asked to be transferred back to Peterborough prison which is much nearer us. I hope they grant that so I can take our daughter to see her mummy once a week.”
Rotl is not a straightforward legal right but is considered a privilege. Prisoners can appeal against a decision through the jail’s internal complaints procedure and ultimately to the prisons and probation ombudsman. It cannot, however, be typically challenged in court but inmates can sue for alleged abuse of prison powers. …

Lucy’s case ( Julie Sweeney was another one ) demonstrating that the courts do not treat females with leniency as standard, when compared to males, even if they are mothers to school-age children. I think you have the wrong end of the stick.
She is not being treated disgracefully and spitefully becuase she’s a woman, it’s because she’s in there as an example to white people in general not to get too uppity.
You can rest assured that a bloke inside in similar circumstances would be treated as disgracefully and spitefully as she is.
Her circumstances have rightly attracted the attention of decent people across the world and I think on balance this will act in her favour.

That wasn’t the point I was making. My point was that just because somebody’s a woman doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to be treated with kid gloves/get off Scott free. By the same token, just because somebody’s male doesn’t mean he’s going to receive harsher treatment from the courts, as per my above examples. Men are all the time avoiding jail for being perverts/knife-wielding psychos while female ‘meme terrorists’ ( along with their male counterparts ) get a custodial sentence.
An example is the disgusting paedophile ring in Glasgow that were sent down earlier this year. The two women ( Lannery and Williams ) got 14 and 17 year sentences, similar to the men. No special treatment or leniency for being female there;

Lucy Connolly was jailed to send a message to us all about complaining about migrants and illegal alien invaders. The system is our enemy. The civil was comes closer by the day.
I’m well aware of the reason for all of the white men and women who showed up at protests or spoke out online to make their ( inconvenient, for the government ) views known being arrested and banged up. And they continue to get persecuted for airing their anti-establishment opinions, no matter the context.

Added to this is the fact that Lucy was recently transferred for no apparent reason to Drake Hall prison in Staffordshire, over 100 miles further away from her child and cancer-stricken husband near the Peterborough prison where she was before. Her husband said she has requested to be returned to the Peterborough prison nearer her family [is her request being ignored?].
Drake Hall “specialises in foreign national prisoners and resettlement”.
Are they “rubbing her nose in diversity”, as the heroic Andrew Neather called it years ago, and hoping she will be subjected to abuse and attacks from the foreign prisoners? Just as they put Tommy Robinson in a prison full of Muslim Criminals, and let them prepare all his meals in the prison kitchen, delivered to his cell with his name on it, making it impossible for him to eat the stuff for fear of “contamination jihad”? I don’t think this is true. She was jailed for publicly objecting to the catastrophic effects on us of our criminally degenerate ruling class’s addiction to mad mass unlimited immigration.
What strikes me as weird about all this is that a decade or so ago before the age of social media none of this would have been possible. Back in the days of my youth if you had a strong opinion you could write to the papers and would only be published if the editor so decreed or you phone in to BBC any questions and would only get on air if the producers agreed. But suddenly with Twitter, FAcebook etc. we can all now get published with whatever views we have. TPTB are terrified of the new force for expression that has been give to the people. or any other random string of words unrelated to Connolly’s actual text. She was accused of something and pleaded guilty to it, presumably under duress. That’s why she got sentenced for it. Which is what I wanted to express.
Incitement to racial hatred already doesn’t make any sense as a crime because there’s no objective way to determine if it actually happened. It’s sufficient that some judge claims to be convinced that it must have happened, despite there’s no proof for it.
Let them continue to sow the seeds of their own annihilation.

Then there are the Military Criminal Offences he committed, including:

“FRAUD”
“DISHONESTLY OBTAINING SERVICES”
Some of these have maximum punishments of 10 YEARS up to LIFE IMPRISONMENT.
And at the very least, he should have been given a DISMISSAL WITH DISGRACE.
