Insane. But this is the way it’s going in the UK, isn’t it? ”In Great Britain, a nation with deep Christian roots, there is an urgent need for Christians to stand up and speak out. The Labour run Rushmore Council is pushing forward a drastic proposal—a sweeping injunction that could imprison Christian street preachers for up to two years. Under this plan, Christians would be forbidden from praying for others, distributing Bibles or religious leaflets by hand, or even laying hands on someone in prayer, even with their full consent. How can such measures be justified in a country built on Christian values? What’s more troubling is the apparent double standard. Why are Christians singled out, while other faiths—some of whom have openly called for jihad on our streets—face no such scrutiny? This isn’t just an attack on religious freedom; it’s a direct challenge to the Christian heritage of Great Britain.” https://x.com/TheNorfolkLion/status/1910011959090512285 ”A group of street preachers are at the centre of what is believed to be an unprecedented legal battle with a local authority which has tried to impose an injunction, without proper consultation, that would criminalise Christian prayer, singing and evangelism. Following an intervention by the Christian Legal… Read more »

The Red Cross charity shops apparently don’t sell the Bible now. Also, you know how you’d always see a Bible in hotel rooms? Well all these hotels being taken over by migrants will obviously have had to put a stop to that too. Do you think they replace them with a copy of the Quran?

”Video evidence of manager at British Red Cross saying they don’t sell the bible as it’s discriminatory.”

‘Discriminatory’? It is utterly disgraceful that the Christian heritage of our land – the culture, shared interests, laws and institutions – is being shackled and veritably put to death in order to appease the subscribers to DEI and to ultimately surrender to the beliefs of those overtaking and consuming our country. Our heritage is being negated. A lamb to the slaughter…

But the Bible is about people from the Middle East, and wasn’t at least one of the three kings from North Africa? And where is the Red Sea whose waves were parted? Has the Red Cross never read their Bible?

Have they not noticed that their name is equally discriminatory?

Right away, I knew it would be a despotic labour run council. Par for the course.

This is heartening to read;

”Church attendance in Britain is rising thanks to Gen Z, new research commissioned by the Bible Society has suggested.
The research, conducted by YouGov, found that last year around 12% of adults attended church at least once a month, up from just 8% in 2018.
Leading the charge, were men aged 18-24, with over a fifth attending church at least once a month, a staggering increase from just 4% of that demographic in 2018. Women in the same age bracket have also been attending church in larger numbers, going from 4% in 2018 to 12% in 2024.
“There are now over 2 million more people attending church than there were six years ago.”

It’s particularly interesting as the government closed the churches for most of 2020, losing them many attenders for foreseeable reasons like agoraphobia and so on.

Yeah ‘cos everyone knows that churchgoers suffer more from colds and ‘flu than other parts of the population. It must be true ‘cos they gather together in those buildings and even shake hands with each other – I believe they even sing! Highly dangerous, ban them.

Pertaining to the article about the racist, DEI-infected West Yorks police force. How multiculturalism destroyed the British police. This is shocking ( but none of us are really shocked by this anymore, are we? ); ”A quick glance at the Metropolitan Police Authority recruitment targets for 2009-10 reveals the liberal insanity that has taken over this pitiful Island. 27% of all new police recruits must be “black and minority ethnic” (BME) and 41% must be female. West Midlands Police Authority has seized upon such directives with glee. What would once have been called racial and sexual discrimination against white males is now called Positive Action, which is why the police are able to recruit black and ethnic minorities in far higher percentage terms than their population warrants. White males will account for a mere 30% of new Metropolitan Police recruits over the next three years, but unfortunately for the powers that be, it is still white males who overwhelmingly apply to join. The result is that they are simply turned away, and the reason given, with no hint of hypocrisy or shame, is because they are white. In 2006, two thirds of white males were turned down for interview by… Read more »

Are the wheels finally coming off Net Zero?

…And, disreputable though it might seem to a purist, they see no sense in being used as cannon-fodder to set a good example to the rest of the world when the UK’s carbon emissions make up something like 1 per cent of global pollution.

Wrong. Carbon (dioxide) is not pollution.

Heartening as the rumours of the wheels coming off the idea is, I think it will take power cuts unequivocally causing deaths to break the stranglehold of the Net Zero fanatics.

The world isn’t admiring Starmer’s Britain, it’s mocking us” – From Diego Garcia to the Elgin Marbles, the Labour Government is simply unwilling to stand up for Britain’s interests.”

Yes, and here’s another example:

Leicester Square to honour Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol with new statue

If, like mine, your first nonplussed reaction is “Who???”, here’s more:

“The statue, featuring the two stars from the 1995 classic, will become part of Leicester Square’s “Scenes in the Square” trail, alongside other famous figures such as Harry Potter, Gene Kelly, Mary Poppins, and Batman.”

Because diversity…

  • ‘It is so obviously political’” – On Times Radio, Sir Trevor Phillips tears shreds out of the Labour Party for their disgusting response to Pakistani rape gangs.”

Question: And during the Tories 14 years in power, what did they do about it?

First of all I am no fan of the Red Cross who are somewhat woke. But just to clarify … Red Cross charity shops don’t sell any religious books or other items from any faith group. As the Red Cross work in various conflict situations, some of which are religious in nature they can’t be seen as anything but absolutely impartial. Nothing anti Christian going on.
