An interesting feature of Trumps tariffs, is the number of experts we have in international trade. I wonder if they are the same as the amateur virologists and specialists in Ukraine.

The second interesting thing is that everyone who thinks Trump is a dreadful person, also thinks tariffs (a feature of international trade, forever…) are likewise, dreadful.

We should be grateful for such learned analysis.

Strange how all those earnest pundits who predict world recession because of ‘tariffs’ fail to praise them for reducing production and consumption and reducing the consequence of anthropogenic climate change.

It’s almost as if the ‘experts’ know nothing…

I do not recall any criticisms of EU tariffs either before we joined, during membership nor since we (partly) left. None about China either.

one could conclude it is only DJT they want to criticise.

We should assume larger stock market falls elsewhere than in the USA where increases in output are easily achievable. Except, most other stock markets are already low, illiquid snd often dominated by government controlled stocks.

I can see a role for transgender surgeons in prisons of course, cutting the balls off convicted rapists for example.

More jab marketing in general, or is it a mistake to advertise something along the lines of “we don’t know how it works, but have a shot anyway”?

Labour knowingly chose ‘most disruptive’ date for private school tax raid” – Bombshell court documents reveal that Labour picked January to slap VAT on private schools just to rake in more cash, according to Conservative Post.

Vindictive vitriol from Sir Two-Tier and Theeves. 100 Schools closing already, thousands of kids messed about. All to pander to socialist dogma – not fit and proper persons for public office.

“JCB plans to double the size of its new US factory”
“the worst economic own goal I have seen”
Adjacent comments from above – it never ceases to amaze me how myopic the so-called economic experts are.

Our gracious host Lord Young has his detractors, but his elevation to the Lords so far is not being treated as just some recognition or accolade but he is using it as a platform to speak up for free speech and for what he believes in. Badenoch also has her detractors (me among them) and we do not know why she chose to nominate TY – but it shows good judgement (or luck I suppose). I don’t think TY will necessarily just toe the party line, as indeed he did not during “covid”.

The pandemic fallout

Here’s some news to cheer everybody up:

Fauci’s wife gets taste of her own medicine after firing nurses who refused COVID vaccine | Daily Mail Online

Anthony Fauci’s wife has stepped down from her job after being told she’d have to swap Washington DC for remote locations like Alaska.”

“She was reportedly notified that she would be reassigned to regional offices of the Indian Health Service, which provides healthcare to American Indians and Alaska Natives…”

Ha-ha-ha! Hats off to RFK Jr. for thinking of it !!! 🙂

Terrorism suspect linked to 7/7 bombings set to be released from prison

Here he is, Haroon Aswat, a fine example of “Diversity is our Strength”, being let off by judges for “Mental Health Problems”, despite being called “The Mastermind” behind the 7/7 terrorist bombs murdering 52 people. Like the women let off for “Post-Natal Depression” after murdering their own children. Of course, if he were a Christian Terrorist, or if the mothers were fathers, they would not be let off for anything…

Shock poll shows Nigel Farage is on track to be Prime Minister

Yes, and the reason he’s so sure is, as he said himself, The Muslim Vote.
He’ll be allowed to be in office a couple of years, then swapped for the Pakistani Muslim Yusuf, in a classic “Bait & Switch”.
Remember: A Vote for Reform is a Vote for the Caliphate.

Lord Young of Acton asks a Labour minister about the Party’s plans to adopt an official definition of ‘Islamophobia’

Well done to Lord Toby for keeping up the good fight in the House of Lords!
Too bad the Labour minister replied with pointless waffle.
