So Nigel Farage is a right-wing extremist, Netenyahu is Hitler but they get offended supposedly being referred to as ”Islamists”, as he sits there with his England football shirt on attempting to fool anybody he’s a patriot. Could these jokers be any more fraudulent or transparent, I wonder?

”‘We are here to take over from right-wing extremists like Nigel Farage!’

Shakeel Afsar of the new Independent Candidate Alliance on how the Islamic political party would fit into the UK’s electoral system.”

Southport continuing to double down on ‘diversity’, I see. It’s this obsession with diversity/multiculturalism that’s harming kids and ruining their futures. It’s just one massive PsyOp with the kids being the main targets; ”What an insult. After Axel Rudakubana murdered three girls in Southport last year, the local Sefton Council has commissioned artist Ekaterina Sheath to make a diversity and inclusion installation in the town. “This Bear design celebrates the vibrant multicultural community of the UK”, reads the description on the website. The fact that this children’s statue scavenger hunt, inspired by book “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt”, has been corrupted by DEI ideology is bad enough. It’s even worse when that same DEI iseology blinded the authorities, police, and Prevent to stopping the murderer in their midst. This obsession with anti-racism and worshiping “protected characteristics” must stop. It’s putting the lives of the very children who are meant to enjoy this art installation at risk.” https://x.com/Con_Tomlinson/status/1887968035983519900 I think, much like the gender identity cult, this indoctrination of school kids about ‘refugees’ is happening all over the place. Many people posting what their kids are being shown in class. I wonder if the kids at Harvey Willgoose’s school are… Read more »

They had one of these hunts in Cirencester a year or two back… only, it was Hares, not Bears.

I was amused to find that the one sited in the abbey was a gold idol adorned with pharaonic symbolism… nobody in the abbey apparently reads the scriptures.

Not particularly important but here’s another reminder that we definitely are living in Clown world
A Norwegian born singer EMMY (really name Kristine Guttulsrud Kristiansen)
has just been voted to represent Ireland in the eurovision with a song about a Russian space dog called Liaka, ‘Liaka party’
Written by a Republic of Bashkortostan born woman (soviet) who lives in ireland and so gives EMMY the right to represent Ireland in Switzerland!???

Song writers

  • Emmy Kristine Guttulsrud Kristiansen
  • Erlend Guttulsrud Kristiansen
  • Henrik Østlund
  • Larissa Tormey
  • Truls Marius Aarra

Looks like the closest relationship to ireland is that Liaka the dog probably flew over it a few times before it croaked!

“Online Harm” – the last refuge of the modern-day scoundrel, operating in tandem with that other well-known refuge of the scoundrel, the law.

Someone please send for John Stuart Mill to give Sir Two-Tier a blast of the hair-dryer.

‘I was a green energy zealot – until I had a nightmare heat pump installed’”

Might heat your home effectively, might not, more likely it won’t, and you’ve got to spend £30K to find out.

Meanwhile an oil boiler installed for £3K 20 years ago has reliably kept our adequately-insulated rural bungalow warm, and provided unlimited hot water, at an estimated cost in fuel of £1500 pa (at today’s heating oil prices) – that’s £30K over the 20 years.

Subscribers to climate claptrap not welcome in these parts. Progress mean change, but change does not always mean progress.

Was just coming to comment on the same topic when I saw the last quote in the article:

“A government spokesman said: …

Heat pumps are three times more efficient than gas boilers and we are making them more affordable to more households by providing £7,500 towards the cost, enabling families to save around £100 a year compared to a gas boiler by using a smart tariff effectively.”

Do they listen to themselves, or am I misunderstanding what the lunatic said? ‘We’re going to give you £7k towards the £40k cost to save you £100 per year, but only if you use it sparingly’

Whitehall purveyor of word salad, working from home, divorced from all contact with energy reality and devoid of knowledge of the laws of thermodynamics. Probably has a fully-functioning gas boiler purring away in the background.

Yes! Trouble is the government thinks of taxes as their money tree, not wrung out of working people.

‘The science’ is doing some very heavy lifting there with apples being compared to bananas. Heat pumps *can* in theory move energy at that level of efficiency, however the energy coefficient (difference between outside temp and desired inside temp) needs to be optimal.

Any other fuel based heating, or even electrical element based heating, will convert the majority of the energy input into heat, no matter the external conditions.

Of course as soon as we read ‘a government spokesperson said…’ we should turn on the BS detector

If governments actually followed the science we’d be a lot happier, healthier and probably wealthier. Their $cience isn’t the same thing.

““Immigration is out of control: this 10-year plan could fix it” – There’s a growing consensus that Britain has become over reliant on migrants, says David Goodhart in the Telegraph. Keir Starmer could rally Labour voters behind a cross-party push for reform.”

I can’t read the article (paywall) but from the headline, I despair. The DT is supposedly the premier newspaper of the political right. They simply don’t get it. Labour won’t do this but anyway no “plan” is required, certainly not a 10 year one. Here’s my “plan”: stop it now, for the foreseeable future.

Another disappointing headline from our supposed friends at the DT:

““Scrapping the licence fee will force the BBC to excel” – Taxpayers are questioning the value of pumping money into a broadcaster that does not reflect their values, says John Hayes in the Telegraph.”

Sorry but I don’t care if the BBC “excels” or not. There’s zero justification for the state running a massive media empire with money demanded with menaces. Privatise it and then people can choose whether to watch it or not.

Main “Thought for the Day” Sweden – after a man is executed for burning a certain book ! They bring in a new law banning this practice ! WHAT is behind this constant cow-towing to the ROP by multiple western governments????

‘executed’ implies some authority behind the killing. The word ‘assassinated’ would similarly imply some cause or motive in justification.

The man was murdered. No need for any other word for it.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14376523/Nigel-Farage-Reform-Tory-Boris-Johnson-Keir-Starmer.html

This is why I am so ambivalent about Farage.

No way would I support Reform if he betrayed his supporters again. If Farage does do a deal with that Rubbish Johnson then it is all over for Great Britain.

Thanks Dinger.

As I have posted before, at a private meeting in early December ’24 I and a handful of colleagues were given an assurance by a mid-placed Reform staffer that there was “No Way” that Reform would do a deal with ANY other party.

My view is, “we’ll see.”

Farage & Co made it very clear at yesterday’s rally in Wiltshire that there was no basis for the story.

Or to be more exact there is no truth in it. The Daily Mail May have found someone who claimed to be on the inside track who drank some beer with a journalist. That does not make it fact.

Home working risks ‘hollowing out’ London – mayor according to the BBC Whether working from home is good for a business or not, it is up to the business to decide. As with all such decisions it will involve a trade off. Sir Sadiq moans that people not commuting into the city to work has damaged London’s economy. No sh!t Sherlock. In an attempt to address the collapse in ridership [commuting on the Tube] on Fridays in particular, the mayor ran a £24m reduced fare trial over three months last year, but a recent report found that it made “no noticeable difference” in the number of peak-time journeys on Fridays. Again, no surprise there – if someone has decided not to hold a season ticket as they don’t commute often enough to make it worthwhile, I reckon travel would have to be free on Fridays to stand a chance of making a difference. He added London’s businesses should think “very carefully” before deciding to reduce their office space, as they may regret the longer-term impact on their staff. Cor! I bet they never thought of that! What a pillock. I have managed the IT and comms aspects of an office… Read more »

“Britain’s silent rape explosion” — Satanic Globalist A: “We have a problem. Gang Rape was Almost Unknown in the West before the Mass Invasion of Ethnic Africans and Muslims from the Third World. So how are we going to shift blame away from them onto The White Man?” — Satanic Globalist B: “Don’t worry! We’re going to normalize White Gang Rape, just like we’re going to normalize paedophile child rape and bestiality. We’ve already hired Depraved White Prostitutes like Bonnie Blue to lure White Men into gang raping them by consent, and then the prostitutes boast about it to make it more acceptable, like a kind of profitable game. We began the process by normalizing public sex in television shows like Big Brother. Then we hired evil psychopaths like Gisele Pelicot’s husband to pimp out his drugged unconscious wife for gang rape, like a kind of profitable game, and publicised it all over the world. And now we’ve set up a Gang-Bang Factory in Paris: Gang-bang ‘factory’ with sex disco where ‘several men’ pay £60 each to join group session with one woman sparks uproar in Paris district as neighbours say it encourages gang rape | Daily Mail Online So… Read more »

Thanks for taking time to read it. There was another recent news item, can’t find it now, about a UK judge who let off a man for raping several donkeys (luckily for the man, he hadn’t tweeted or watched any protests against Muslims butchering British children, or the judge would have sent him to prison).

A few years ago, a gang of Moroccan Muslims got their just deserts for that, but it shows what the West is being forced to import:

Fifteen teens and children ‘treated for rabies after gang raping an infected donkey’ – Mirror Online

“The families of the fifteen young people are said to have reacted in “distress and horror” after being mocked throughout the small town in the north-western region of Gharb-Chrarda-Béni Hssen.”
