Putin says West has pushed him to his ‘red lines’
Here’s what is really going on while the North Korean carpet in the Kremlin gets another chewing:

That’s how you win a war……no water for your soldiers….genius…..or not really….
No wonder Russia, if not Putin, hopes for peace.
‘Trump’s team has outlined a peace plan that includes an 800-mile demilitarized buffer zone along the frontlines, policed by UK and European militaries, with Ukraine shelving its NATO aspirations for at least two decades.
This approach, which Trump calls “peace through strength,” has received cautious acknowledgment from Zelensky, who described a recent phone conversation with Trump as “excellent.”
Russian officials have indicated a willingness to consider Trump’s proposals. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated, “Russia is prepared to review Trump’s suggestions regarding Ukraine, but reviewing does not equate to agreement,”
So basically Putin keeps all he took by armed fighting including forced transfer of Ukrainian citizens to Russia. He is not required to rebuild the infrastructure, buildings, culture and lives he ruined.
And the UK has not enough troops to guard us let alone 800 miles of border in Ukraine. What happened to The End of History. What happened to respect for national borders and self determination.
My guess is this won’t come about and instead Trump will increase the pressure on Russia to the point it breaks down like the Soviet system did.
Which is exactly the whole point of the Ukraine conflict: to bring Russia to its knees. Or did you think USA, not to mention UK, is in the slightest interested in the well-being of the country Ukraine or its citizens? Zelensky was elected president because he promised peace. As with all easily corrupted politicians, he became convinced he should start a war with Russia, and has since – together with his corrupt government – shovelled in the billions of dollars thrown his way, buying luxurious villas in the most expensive locations world-wide. Do you think that Zelensky cares about his country (he was brought up in a Russian speaking family and had to learn the Ukrainian language during his presidency) or its people? Or does he only care (like most politicians) about himself? His country is being destroyed, unknown hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have been killed or maimed, millions have left the country. Do you really believe Zelensky cares?! He could easily have accepted the peace plan agreed in Istanbul in April 2022! But no, good old Boris came over and talked him out of it. All this complete nonsense about Putin wanting to take over the Baltic States,… Read more »
‘In this regard, in accordance with Article 51 of Part 7 of the UN Charter, with the approval of the Federation Council of Russia and in pursuance of the treaties of friendship and mutual assistance ratified by the Duma on February 22 with the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic, I decided to launch a special military operation……Our plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories. We are not going to impose anything on anyone by force…..What is happening today does not come out of a desire to infringe on the interests of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.’
Putin 24 Feb 2022
The complete speech is provided here: http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/67843. A large part of the speech is devoted to how the West has betrayed Russia in so many cases: I will begin with what I said in my address on February 21, 2022. I spoke about our biggest concerns and worries, and about the fundamental threats which irresponsible Western politicians created for Russia consistently, rudely and unceremoniously from year to year. I am referring to the eastward expansion of NATO, which is moving its military infrastructure ever closer to the Russian border … Entreaties and requests do not help. Anything that does not suit the dominant state, the powers that be, is denounced as archaic, obsolete and useless. At the same time, everything it regards as useful is presented as the ultimate truth and forced on others regardless of the cost, abusively and by any means available. Those who refuse to comply are subjected to strong-arm tactics … There are many examples of this. First a bloody military operation was waged against Belgrade, without the UN Security Council’s sanction but with combat aircraft and missiles used in the heart of Europe … Then came the turn of Iraq, Libya and Syria … A similar fate was also prepared for Syria. The combat operations conducted by the Western coalition in that country without the Syrian government’s approval or UN Security Council’s sanction can only be defined as aggression and intervention. But the example that stands apart from the above events is, of course, the invasion of Iraq without any legal grounds … Overall, it appears that… Read more »
https://kyivindependent.com/russian-general-killed-in-moscow-explosion-local-media-reports/
Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian Armed Forces’ radiation, chemical, and biological defense troops, was reportedly killed in an explosion at a residence in Moscow the morning of Dec. 17, according to Russian media.
Kirillov and another Russian servicemember, reported to be his personal assistant, were killed in an explosion near the entrance to a residential building in Moscow in the early hours of Dec. 17, according to the Russian Telegram news channel Astra.
“On Kirillov’s orders, since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 4,800 cases of enemy use of chemical munitions have been recorded,”
The U.K. issued sanctions against Kirillov and his unit over the use of chemical weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine on Oct. 8.
Statement by Konstantin Vorontsov, Head of the Delegation of the Russian Federation, Deputy Director of the Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, at the Meeting of States Parties to the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, Geneva, 16 December 2024 (https://mid.ru/en/foreign_policy/news/1987746/): The Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) became the first international agreement to outlaw an entire category of weapons of mass destruction. This was a significant step forward in advancing the process of general and complete disarmament, reducing the threat of biological agents used for weapons purposes. The Russian Federation, as BTWC depository state, consistently implements all of its provisions. However, even after half a century of existence of the Convention, it is too early to say that the issue of biological weapons is completely removed from the agenda of the world community. In the context of fulfilment of obligations under the BTWC, the uncovered facts pertaining to the implementation of a military biological programme in Ukraine with support of the Pentagon and affiliated entities, including private companies, warrant closer attention. The analysis of available documents indicates the development of bioweapon components in close proximity to the Russian borders. …… Read more »
The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) investigated a September 20 chemical weapon attack against Ukrainian troops in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A drone dropped grenades in Ukrainian trenches containing a substance that caused physical reactions among troops, including excessive salivation, nasal congestion, and burning and itching sensations.
The OPCW team “collected documentation and digital files, testimonies from first-hand witnesses, and received three samples collected by Ukraine: a shell of grenade and two soil samples collected from a trench.” The team also collected and took photographs and video of the grenades. After corroborating an appropriate chain of custody for the samples, the team sent them to two separate OPCW-designated laboratories for independent analysis, a process observed by Ukrainian OPCW representatives.
The laboratories independently confirmed “that the grenade and soil samples collected from the trench contain the riot control agent 2-Chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile, known as CS.” The OPCW underscored that under the terms of the Chemical Weapons Convention, “the use of riot control agents as a method of warfare is prohibited.”
”No whites” indeed. More here on the ongoing replacement and discrimination of native white citizens, ironically all orchestrated by white anti-white authority figures, who evidently hate their own race; ”Demography is only moving one way in Britain, engineered deliberately by successive administrations, as Keir Starmer recently admitted. Muhammad is now officially the most popular baby name for boys in England and Wales, a fact even the Office for National Statistics can no longer deny. Of course, this has been the case for at least a decade; it’s just that the convenient 14 variants of the name (Muhammad, Mohammed, Mohammad, Muhammed, Mohamed, Mohamad, Muhamad, Muhamed, Mohamud, Mohummad, Mohummed, Mouhamed, Mohammod, and Mouhamad, if you’re curious) have allowed the statisticians to pretend that this was not so. If you believe the ONS then, various incarnations of Muhammad are the 1st, 33rd, and 68th most popular names in Britain. Alas, we are no longer a serious country. The long-term effect of Muslim babies dominating the maternity wards has yet to be observed. What has been witnessed in the space of my lifetime, however, is the demographic transformation of the country. Whites are a minority in the capital, a minority in major cities, and will eventually be a… Read more »
It’s happening across most of Europe, of course. More truth bombs from this Spanish MP, and how many other countries can these crime figures and other issues regarding mass uncontrolled immigration be applied?; “It’s a lie that they are refugees fleeing from wars,” Rocío de Meer stated. “What war is there in Algeria? What war is there in Morocco? What war is there in Mauritania?” In a blistering parliamentary address, Rocío de Meer, National Deputy for Almería and representative of Spain’s nationalist party, Vox, delivered a scathing indictment of the socialist government’s open-border policies and their devastating consequences for Spain’s safety, culture, and sovereignty. Her speech was more than a criticism; it was a rallying cry for all Spaniards. Rocío de Meer wasted no time identifying the core issue: massive and uncontrolled immigration imposed by the socialist regime under the guise of compassion. De Meer rightly pointed out that these policies are not about humanitarianism but are instead a deliberate attack on Spain’s identity and safety. Armed with undeniable data, she exposed the harsh truth the government tries to hide. De Meer cited alarming statistics from the Ministry of the Interior, revealing an explosion of violent crime between 2017 and… Read more »
“Labour accused of trampling democracy with forced council mergers”
Now, remind me of the urgency of this. It’s going to generate lots of money during a time of economic chaos to fill the “black hole”? It’s going to increase international trade by regarding Dorset as independent? It’s necessary to prevent insurrection by seething Cornish Nationalists? It’s going to reduce immigration somehow? It was at the top of the Labour election manifesto?
Or maybe it’s just another twist of the globalist centralisation screw by getting little Sadiq Khans lording it over the shires?
And nothing to do with the Uniparty cementing and expanding its power base.
It is a scheme which originates with EU regions snd the inelegantly named “sub regional authorities”. Districts and cities will be merged even across county borders. That will eliminate counties and allow metropolitan globalists in cities to Lord it over rural areas and small towns.
in effect this transfers all powers to Whitehall now and in future Mayors or sub-regional authorities leaders will answer to Whitehall. Not sure how much difference that will make because various quangos already tell officers what they can do or must do and Councillors go along with it.
This plan has been underway throughout the Tories 14 years but no details of the new boundaries or powers or voting method have been published. It took the Boundary Commission years to update Parliamentary constituencies so this will take no less time. Unless Labour impose their gerrymandered plans with no consultation.
It is clear that preparations were going on under the Tories.
I doubt there will be elections to meaningful new councils before 2027.
But did I not hear that some elections are being suspended next May to make way for this? Otherwise, I totally agree with you.
“Labour accused of trampling democracy with forced council mergers”
Excellent summary comment by a member of the public on this:
“What Raynor is looking to do is saddle performing councils with the debts of under-performing councils.
For example, she is looking to saddle Cheshire with the debts of Warrington, which resulted from Council members and their advisors, with little experience, investing millions in projects and investment schemes which have gone sour.
It’s yet another attempt by Labour and its Council members looking to saddle better-off areas with the poorly run inner cities.”
