“RIP Peter Lynch, a Political Prisoner of Keir Starmer”

Peter Lynch, the 61 year-old grandfather who was sentenced to almost three years behind bars for his part in the summer riots despite not being violent himself, has died in prison in a suspected suicide. He was Keir Starmer’s political prisoner, says Isabel Oakeshott in the Telegraph. Here’s an excerpt.

Lynch’s punishment for his role in an angry demonstration outside an asylum seeker hotel was out of all proportion to the treatment of many of those convicted of far graver offences. Doubtless he bitterly regretted his actions on August 4th, when he made the very foolish decision to join an angry mob in Rotherham.

Brandishing a placard bearing strange conspiracy theories, he insulted police officers – calling them “scum” – and labelled the occupants of a migrant hotel “child killers” and “rapists”. None of this was remotely justifiable. It was stupid and nasty, and he should have known better. But did it really merit even a fraction of two years and eight months he was sentenced to serve, at His Majesty’s Pleasure?

For unlike other rioters, Lynch did not physically harm anyone; nor set anything alight;  nor cause thousands of pounds worth of criminal damage. His comments were unpleasant and may have contributed to tensions, but they were just words.

While much has been made of his strange placard, there is no crime in accusing politicians of corruption, or having wackadoodle theories about the world. Moreover, unlike many of the hardened criminals currently being released to free up prison places, this man had no track record of causing trouble, still less a string of previous convictions for serious offences.

Why on earth, then, was he given such a draconian sentence? Shocking as it may sound in modern Britain, it is hard to avoid the conclusion that this man was a political prisoner.

Here’s what seems to have happened: confronted with a law and order crisis triggered by widespread public fury over the total loss of control over our borders, a panicking Prime Minister decided to make an example of certain individuals.

Worth reading in full.

Barely a day goes by without yet more demonstration of what a disgusting petty little man Keir Starmer is. He will learn precisely the wrong lesson from this. There isn’t a humble bone in his body.

The best thing that can happen now is for Trump to win the US election. It is absolutely essential for freedom in the West. Then there will be a bulwark to defend against the savaging of X, Elon Musk, and free speech. It will be much harder for Starmer if he is forced to act alone censoring X. If Kamala Harris wins on the other hand, then the US and Europe will go on a joint censorship spree. There will be no free speech jurisdictions and nothing to demonstrate the authoritarian excess and nothing to stop Starmer going to the extreme we already know he is capable of.

You’re right about Starmer, but the AntiChrist Drumpf is not anyone’s “Saviour”. He is a Globalist just like the rest of them, including Cackling Kamala, all in cahoots with the plan, just like Putin & Zelensky are in cahoots to send as many white men into the Meatgrinder War as possible, while Putin builds his “palace” shown to the world by the Heroic Navalny, and Zelensky buys up his own mansions outside Ukraine.

I’m not sure about this Trump is a globalist narrative. I can see the argument for it, and I don’t think he is going to be the spectacular good many in the US think he will be. But I do think he will be far, far better than another turn of the Democrats. I’m not really on board with the “they’re all in it together and the conflict is staged” idea. I now think most of the anti-democratic policy decisions we face are because there are policy driven markets the globalist billionaire set have learned they can exploit and the constant failure to implement policies the electorate ask for is because the financial system is failing. The authorities know it (not necessarily the politicians, but the finance people do – and they quickly educate incoming politicians). The banking system needs debt driven expansion to cover prior bad debts (yep our fiat currency is a Ponzi scheme)and needs to be fed ever expanding debt and debt based money supply expansion. And it is this unquenchable thirst that has driven many of the inexplicable policy choices that have been running so consistently against the the preferences of the electorate. Spending on Covid,… Read more »

The increasing debt has been, somewhat successfully, managed by increasing productivity, which is dependant on cheaper and cheaper Energy, though it has been an increase burden for succeeding generations to carry.

This illusion is crumbling because this increasing productivity is being is curtailed by the NET Zero policies, and rapid increases in their unproductive sectors of the economy.

Nearly everything else are consequences.

The increasing debt has caused severe inflation and increase in cost of living and lowering of standard of living.

Flooding Countries with cheap labour reduces productivity, which lowers wages and economic progress.

And where’s this cheap energy you mention?

If what you say about Trump is true, why has the globalist establishment done so much against him, trying to remove him from Office after he was elected, most likely rigging the 2020 election, desperately trying to stop him getting elected thus time with 92 law suits and two (so far) assassination attempts.

Your claim just doesn’t make sense.

Dear DS Editor, Why do the thumbs up/down thingies below my comment show GREEN MINUS 6 and RED MINUS 15?

Does that mean six people agreed with me, but you transformed their green approvals to minuses????

Why not just mark it as MINUS 21, instead of trying to fudge it in this weird way? It’s not the first time this has happened.

Some Barrister on Radio was making the point that, because of there being civil unrest, they had to set example citing Bradford riots and London 2011 riots. But the judiciary is supposed to be independent and blind.

Well done to Will Jones and the DS for featuring this terrible news, but I really must object to the unjust aspersions cast by Isabel Oakshott upon the actions of this Working Class English Patriot. She said, “ Doubtless he bitterly regretted his actions on August 4th, when he made the very foolish decision to join an angry mob in Rotherham.” Really, Isabel??? Why was it “foolish” to join a protest in a democracy? “…he labelled the occupants of a migrant hotel “child killers” and “rapists”. None of this was remotely justifiable. It was stupid and nasty, and he should have known better.” Really, Isabel? Really??? It’s called Freedom of Speech, and the protesters had every right to be angry about the Mass Stabbing of 13 people, and the Mass Gang Rapes of thousands of British children. ” his strange placard, [but] there is no crime in accusing politicians of corruption, or having wackadoodle theories about the world.” Why go to such lengths to insult the Englishman who killed himself after being unjustly imprisoned for exercising his right to Freedom of Speech and Freedom to Protest? It does seem a bit like sneering at the Working Class. Tommy Robinson said in a video only… Read more »

I like to second a point already made by Heretic:

Brandishing a placard bearing strange conspiracy theories, he insulted police officers – calling them “scum” – and labelled the occupants of a migrant hotel “child killers” and “rapists”. None of this was remotely justifiable. It was stupid and nasty, and he should have known better

This man has done absolutely nothing wrong. He peacefully joined a public protest with placard with some stuff written on it and – in the heat to the moment – became a bit verbally abusive. But he wasn’t tried for insulting police officers or calling illegal immigrants unfriendly names but as dangerous right-wing terrorist. For nothing but being in the wrong place at the wrong time, when one Keir Starmer and his henchmen were hunting for ‘far rightists’ they could put through better show trials to demonstrate who’s calling the shots in Britain.

Well said. The news is already being reported in the States:

Grandfather Jailed for Shouting at Police during Riots in Britain Commits Suicide in Prison

The British government received significant criticism for releasing large numbers of serving criminals from prison in order to accommodate people convicted of involvement with the riots.”

“On Tuesday, around 1,100 inmates will be released, in addition to the 1,700 who were released across England and Wales on 10 September.”

Well, ”the public gets the police service it deserves” apparently. Mr Lynch should never even have been arrested by the corrupt Stasi/Muslim Protection Squad, along with many others during the aftermath of the Southport child massacre. Where do their loyalties lie? Because it ain’t with the concerned citizens, that’s for sure. I’d give this bloke a standing ovation because he’s spot on; ”No one died during the disorder this summer. Peter Lynch protested with a placard which called police officers, MPs and the media “corrupt”. He shouted words at the Police. We said these prisoners were being tortured in prison. He has now taken his own life. A father, a grandfather and a patriot. Dead because of Starmer, The CPS, Judiciary, Police and Media.” https://x.com/NotFarLeftAtAll/status/1848375325001937316 And did we see much in the way of acknowledgment that it was established the phantom menace, the ”far right” was never at the heart of the protests/riots? The unrest was being engineered and instigated from outside of the UK. But all of these patriots are still banged up and will they all be able to finish their time without taking their own lives? ”This is hilarious. Sky News went looking for the UK far-right… Read more »

Brandishing a placard bearing strange conspiracy theories,”

If the placard in question is the one in the headline picture then Ms Oakeshott needs to spend a bit more time on her research or ask Bev Turner to explain to her what is really going on in the world. Or she could spend some time reading the comments on DS. I suppose it is not inconceivable that Ms Oakeshott is simply pretending to be baffled at any suggestions that the Davos Deviants, the WEF, the WHO and the finance houses such as Blackrock, Vanguard and the rest are seeking to take control of the world and everything and every one on it but that’s the bottom line Isabel and you need to wake up.

At least she arrives at the correct end point…

“it is hard to avoid the conclusion that this man was a political prisoner.”

Peter Lynch was a grandfather standing up for his country. He was a political prisoner and Kneel was his executioner.

The full photo shows ‘reporters’ among those listed as corrupt. Who needs enemies with friends such as Ms Oakeshott? Even while the riots were going on, The Daily Telegraph persistently labelled the protesters as ‘far-right’ in its headlines, without any attempt to substantiate the term. To reassure respectable middle-class readers that the paper was far from far-right. The journalism was truly nauseous.

Starmer may have been DPP in a previous job, but as PM he should have nothing to do with prosecutions. Clearly he still has influence at the CPS, but to use it in this way is an abuse of power.

As the practical effects of the Net-Zero nightmare start to hit home, whether it is EVs and no cars for the hoi-polloi, no flying, high energy costs, mandatory hear pumps and smart-meters or whatever? I do feel that as net-zero gets gritty people will start to kick back. I find it hard not to feel that the ludicrous over-reaction to the riots was a warning shot across the bows that in future no dissent will be acceptable..

They are expecting trouble and it’s clear how they are going to deal with it. Maybe the lesson is that civil disobedience does not have to include throwing fire extinguishers at the police or setting fire to occupied hotels.

It was clear Mr Lynch was going to be found guilty, that’s what the authorities wanted, so he will have been advised to plead guilty to lower his sentence. If you are found guilty of a crime and you have pled not guilty, your sentence is usually higher than if you had pled guilty. You have to have nerves of steel to plead not guilty when the evidence is being presented in such a way as ‘to prove’ your guilt. That’s why so many innocent people plead guilty or change their plea to guilty. They aren’t admitting they did it, they are trying to lower their sentence.

And yet, behind Isabel Oakeshott’s words is a new voice:

— the one who rewrote the Reform Party constitution to allow him to sign up masses of his own people in order take over the party leadership from Nigel;

— the one who has been quietly sacking the Reform Party’s old stalwarts in the leadership, to replace them with his own placemen;

— the one who has been influencing Nigel to launch a witchhunt for any possible historical comment by any prospective Reform Party candidate that might dare to criticise Islam in any way, or warn against the Globalist Importation of a Mostly Muslim Mercenary Army to be used against the West.

Whose voice is this, whispering in the background, a menacing, sinister voice, from a hostile alien religious cult, pulling the strings, quietly buying up the Reform Party UK, while everyone focuses on the five “front men”, the English Patriot MPs elected as Members of Parliament?

What a tremendous relief to watch your linked video of that courageous, big-hearted man explaining his patriotic views at a Brexit protest! Bless you, Lockdown Sceptic, for finding that and putting it on here! I’m sure his grieving family will also be grateful to you for thus honouring him.

Of course I am forgetting, people like Isabel Oakeshott don’t see these things because they are in their own bubble of mainstream media which won’t report these things so as not to upset the diversity, inclusivity, cultural enrichment propaganda.

“… or having wackadoodle theories about the world. “
