No, We Will Never Forget What You Did to Us in Covid
In a recent piece in the New York Times, Dr. Rachel Bedard – who specialises in “medicine and criminal justice” – said the world needs to move on from the whole Covid catastrophe, the pandemic response, the wholesale destruction of liberties.
In complaining about the possibility that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be appointed by a – horrors! – potential Donald Trump administration, she had this to say:
The COVID-19 pandemic was a divisive crisis for Americans. I worry that appointing Mr. Kennedy to a top health job would entrench the maddening, counterproductive, personality-driven dynamics that have dominated the politics of health and medicine for the first half of this decade, especially post-Covid. …
The future will surely bring both predictable and unforeseen public health crises that will require cool, experienced, nonpartisan leadership. Should Mr. Kennedy be appointed to the federal Government, he is unlikely to use his power to turn down the temperature. We should learn from what the pandemic revealed about our culture’s deep divisions. If Mr. Kennedy is in the administration, I fear we never will.
Arrogance aside, Bedard’s opinion piece screams enforced forgetfulness. While she may claim her position is about being able to “learn” from the pandemic, her statements belie that.
Her version of learning is about learning how to trust the public health complex that lied to the world for four – and counting – years about the dangers, origins and potential treatments for Covid.
Bedard does admit that much politics was played and that maybe kinda sorta the pronouncements from the likes of Anthony Fauci were too “prescriptive” rather than “persuasive”, which is the best way to handle discussions in the midst of any public health crisis.
She says RFK Jr.’s pronouncements are about power rather the necessary “nuance” needed and he is therefore unfit for office.
One assumes one can replace “nuance” with “I was just following orders”, but, either way, Bedard whitewashes fault and then – for purely pejorative reasons – goes into a tangent about raw milk.
Pejorative because it seems that people who go beyond the socially acceptable “farm to table” and “non-GMO” and “certified organic” to demanding purer foods are weird stupid people who are endangering the rest of the population, even though the rest of the population will most likely stick with things like pasteurised moo juice.
It’s a red non sequitur herring, intentionally included to try to lump various types of officially designated-crazy people together.
Kennedy’s appointment, Bedard frets, would lead to people remembering what happened during the pandemic and may even lead to investigations into exactly why it happened.
And that would be bad because it would not allow for the enforced amnesia, the demand for the Great Forgetting.
Prior to this, the folks that did very, very well during the pandemic asked for “Covid amnesty” for the public health experts who led the effort and their terrifying minions who did things like yell at people who were not wearing a mask and refused to allow family members to attend Thanksgiving if they were not vaccinated.
The argument – made by Brown University economist Emily Oster, whom no one had ever heard of before the pandemic – for amnesty was that “everyone tried their best, no one did anything intentionally bad, we now know better, we’re not bad people, we didn’t really know”.
In other words, we did the best we could, be nice, can’t we all get along?
The hubris of Oster’s argument is shown up by a very simple observation about what the pandemic response did. Massive educational degradation. Economic devastation, by both the lockdowns and now the continuing fiscal nightmare plaguing the nation caused by continuing federal over-reaction. The critical damage to the development of children’s social skills through hyper-masking and fear-mongering. The obliteration of the public’s trust in institutions due to their incompetence and deceitfulness during the pandemic. The massive erosion of civil liberties. The direct hardships caused by vaccination mandates etc. under the false claim of helping one’s neighbour. The explosion of the growth of Wall Street built on the destruction of Main Street. The clear separation of society into two camps – those who could easily prosper during the pandemic and those whose lives were completely upended. The demonisation of anyone daring to ask even basic questions about the efficacy of the response, be it the vaccines themselves, the closure of public schools, the origin of the virus or the absurdity of the useless public theatre that made up much of the programme. The fissures created throughout society and the harm caused by guillotined relationships amongst family and friends. The slanders and career chaos endured by prominent actual experts (see the Great Barrington Declaration) and just plain reasonable people like Jennifer Sey for daring to offer different approaches, approaches – such as focusing on the most vulnerable – that had been tested and succeeded before.
What Oster forgot – and what Bedard wants everyone to forget forever – is the fact that, despite the heroic efforts of the public health establishment, a million people still died.
Note as to the use of the one million figure, it is absolutely true that the number of people who died “from Covid” alone or primarily is, of course, nowhere near one million – pretty sure even the CDC is side-of-the-mouth admitting that now.
Co-morbidities and advanced age played a huge role in the toll of the virus, and then there were the people who died in a car accident and tested positive at the hospital and were listed as dying of Covid, etc.
That issue is another massive scandal that we will not know the actual truth for years.
But I chose the one million number because that is what they – the experts, the scientists, the public health officials, the pandemicists, the media, etc. and all the people who lied to the public and caused massive societal disruption – use as a figure.
And since they – Oster is not the only one thinks as she does – claim they did the best they could, they had good intentions, they tried really hard so please don’t be mean to us, it demands a question be asked: if one million people died while you were doing your best, exactly how awful are you at your job, why should anyone trust you about anything ever again, and why should anyone forgive your gross incompetence, negligence and systemic dissembling? And that’s not even considering the fact that you now admit you knew the damage you were causing while you were causing it?
In other words, if they are going to claim the pandemic was so serious it cost a million lives, it makes the request for “amnesty” even more unconscionable.
And never forget that the people who asked for amnesty and, when that was laughed out of the building, are now demanding amnesia, again, did well during the pandemic.
Oster kept her job. Oster got famous. The pandemic was good for Oster.
The pandemic was also good for bureaucrats, multi-national companies, putative experts, the mindless media and internet scolds. It was good for woke adults who want to remain children, it was good for the national security-industrial complex, it was good for hiding behind, it was good for expanding societal power.
It was not good for people.
Dr. Bedard – we will never forget that. And don’t ever ask again.

I worry that appointing Mr. Kennedy to a top health job would
entrench the maddening, counterproductive, personality-driven dynamics that have dominated the politics of health and medicine for the first half of this decade, especially post-Covidmean that Big Pharma and Medical Fascism will no longer get a free pass to make trillions and impose evidence free interventions and “medicines”.Sorry to Ms Bedard, but it’s just very difficult to forget the despicable behaviour of so many in society during covid. The treatment of people who tried to stand up to the madness was just awful.
And I don’t think it’s at all healthy for a society to just sweep that under the rug and let off those who behaved appallingly, especially the people who publicly encouraged the vilification of those who didn’t agree with all the insanity. Those, at the very least, should never be forgotten and never let off the hook without some serious admission of guilt and atonement on their part.
That’s my view.
Or they may rinse & repeat with Bird Flu or something similar. I hear there’s a conference on Bird Flu (or simulation exercise) happening soon.
I agree, they wanted it swept under the rug because they want to put away and try and hide from the deaths and damage they created, but they cannot, because there are those of us who will never let them forget what they did.
The Covid pandemic was a milestone, a true “game changer”. It was then that western society turned totalitarian.
Of course totalitarian tendencies had always been present but then, all of a sudden, within a matter of a few weeks, an entire society was enslaved. Apart from a few brave individuals, there was no resistance. If the political elite had ever dreamt of setting up concentration camps, force people to be subject to medical experiments, impose censorship, now they realized that they could. Not only was there hardly any resistance, most of society enthusiastically embraced slavery.
”[..] somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs […]” – Yeats
They realised they could in 1933. Once the line is crossed there is no turning back because it becomes the easiest option.Hands up anyone who believes there is a fundamental difference between the Socialists of Germany in 1933 and the bunch of politicians the West has had in the last 40 years or so since Thatcher and Reagan.
Exactly.
They had a taste of absolute power and they loved it.
From that point onwards, no atrocity, no cruelty, no abuse was completely out of reach for them and they loved the idea. They relished the opportunity.
All of a sudden the Sturgeons, the Handcocks, Starmers and all the like-minded minions and acolytes realized they could do things they never imagined and they loved every minute of it. It was the Stanford prison experiment all over again, but for real, and they were the guards!
And for us, it was a real eye opener. A bit of an apocalypse, i.e. revelation, when things until then hidden become visible. We thought we had unalienable rights! We thought the hordes of human rights lawyers would jump on the case! We thought our politicians were better than Saddam Husain or Assad! Hey, we even thought they were better than Putin! How naive it all seems now…
Prior to the tyranny, I thought Bill Gates was a slightly weird geek who had turned into a philanthropist.
I now know he is an evil, repulsive, authoritarian creep, who thinks his money means he has the right to decide how the world should be run; to dictate to us how we should live our lives (or if we are even to be allowed to live) and what we will be permitted or forced to put into our bodies.
And that goes for the rest of the evil barstewards who perpetrated the tyranny.
The atrocities, cruelty and abuse weren’t bugs. They were features. And, like good little Lefties, they are now doubling down.
It’s estimated that about 94 million people where killed by communist regimes world-wide and this couldn’t have happened without the Anglo-American effort to rescue communism from its “evil fascist enemies”. Is this not-so-secret love affair with the most murderous political movement which has existed on this planet so far the reason why these 94 million people plus the totalitarian dictatorships which murdered them are always swept below the carpet in favour of “Germany 1933”?
Historical note: In 1933, Reichspräsident Paul v. Hindenburg was persuaded by Franz v. Papen to appoint Adolf Hitler as chancellor of a DNVP – NSDAP coalition government. The DNVP – short for Deutsch-Nationale-Volkspartei, nationalist German people’s party – was the party of the ultraconservative (or reactionary) former elites of the German empire who principally wanted to restore the German monarchy. They wouldn’t have – and didn’t – allied with any “socialists” in the Marxist sense. They were more keen on killing them.
This coalition government quickly turned into an NSDAP-only government although Hitler didn’t formally become head of the state (ie, president of the Reich) until v. Hindenburg died in 1934, but that’s a different story.
Thank you for your brief summary of the highly complex Weimar Republic. The blueprint for the European Union (Community) is outlined by its joint founder Walter Hallstein (1901-1982) in his book die Europäische Gemeinschaft ISBN 3 430 13898 1. Hallstein was an anti-Semitic elite Nazi lawyer who was instrumental in drawing up Hitler’s Enabling Act. He became the first President of the nascent European Commission in 1958 where he remained until1967. I have a copy of the fourth edition of this book. Hallstein’s elevation to founding father and leader of the European Community is never discussed in the mainstream. When Lord Ridley attempted to warn us in 1990, he described EMU as a German racket designed to take over the whole of Europe. He described surrendering sovereignty to the EU as being as bad as giving it up to Adolf Hitler. His candour cost him dearly.
That’s another stupid myth. The EU is ultimatively the brain child of Robert Schuman (fr) and Konrad Adenauer (former Rhenian separatist) and its aim was the ensure that Germany would remain dominated by France in perpetuity because the French (via a “joint commission”) would retain control of German coal and steel industries.
One of the reasons why the AfD is so seriously unpopular with German establishment politicians is because it seeks to end Germany paying for all of the EU (both directly and via underwriting all debts of its other member states) in exchange for exactly nothing. That’s bound to blow up the West European Francosphere and thus, must be prevented at any cost.

Cracking article.
Dr Rachel Bedard and her like can go to hell.
I think the reason that not one person has yet been held to account and stood before a court of law for the part they played in committing crimes against humanity is that this is all it would take for the entire house of cards to fall down. And the irony is not lost on me that it’s our freedom-fighting lawyer, Mr Fuellmich, who conveniently is the one banged up and silenced. Think about it. Nothing can be localised to just one country, so if that horrendous Arden or Andrews, for instance, were found guilty, everybody else across the world would also need to be found guilty by default. Many countries operated in lockstep, following instructions and advice from the exact same entities and “experts”. And the list of criminals is vast. Not just criminals, but extremely powerful and influential criminals. Fauci could never be tried in a court and found guilty without him taking everybody else who participated down with him. And across the globe that is a LOT of world leaders and authority figures. Therefore nobody stands before a judge and jury and nobody gets convicted and punished. The toxic web is too elaborate and vast, too many… Read more »
Yes GB News embracing Boris comes to mind. I haven’t seen Neil Oliver on there for a few weeks, perhaps the Conservative Conference was more important to GBN that the (legitimate IMO) rants from Neil. Also the “too many involved” goes for 911 with the family of one of the people who died taking legal action on the dominant narrative on how he died. Yes the towers went down, but what caused them to pancake it at issue and the judge reluctant to loo any further.
Who was it that quoted: Those that look beneath the surface must beware, or something along those lines.
Notwithstanding any criticism of the structure of those old buildings, one should note that they were more relaxed about commercial aviation in the USA back then. Back in 1983, I went inside the World Trade Center, which had a tourist area near the top of one, with lots of views around, and a day or two later I went on a helicopter tourist sightseeing trip around New York, NY. Still got a few slides taken from that, with us being just below the WTC to the left. Rather similar to the flight level of the airliner that brought it down.
They don’t allow things like that now. Then again, domestic flights over there were less security conscious into the 1990s. Quite normal for the flight cabin door to be left open, with odd refreshments being taken in for the crew etc en route. Of course, the negative side of having to lock it came to light when a suicidal guy locked the pilot out on this side of the pond, when a German plane deliberately crashed into the mountains.
Didn’t GBN also have that paedo apologist, Thatchell ( think that’s his name ) on? Sure I saw a clip of him on Twitter. He’s wrote at length about lowering the age of consent and legitimising relationships between adults and minors, if memory serves. I thought to myself, what the hell is somebody of that ilk doing on GBN? The Beeb, yes, I can well imagine he’d be at home there, but I was disappointed that GBN would be associated with anyone who wishes to normalise paedophilia, and I’d be totally wanting his hard drive checked.😠
As an advocate for human rights, I’m more concerned about his silence during the Covid fascism. You have to remember many Gays start early, and initiate with adults. Even the right wing hero Milo admitted be was sexually active in his early teens. Victim feminism has a lot to answer for.
What’s “victim feminism”? I think wanting to lower the age of consent is a huge red flag and I’d question anyone’s motivation for pursuing this. Teenagers have always had sex earlier than the legal age. A certain percent anyway. I don’t think this is reason enough to make a change in the law. What he’s on about is adults having sex with young teenagers. Not two 15yr olds doing it.
Well by that logic, if they can consent to each other, what’s to stop them from consenting to someone the wrong side of midnight on their 18th birthday. In the 1880s the age of consent was raised to 16 from 13 that had been previously 12. it was mainly the work of feminists drawing attention to child prostitution in London.
So that’s a good thing, right? So I’m not getting how they’ve “a lot to answer for”.🤔 Kids way younger than that used to be put to work down the pits and in factories etc. Dangerous environments and a horrendous way to spend their childhood, but I don’t think any sane person would advocate for such child labour in civilised societies nowadays.
Childhood and the innocence and carefree nature of it is such a brief and transient phase in a person’s lifespan, given the typical life expectancy these days. I’m a huge proponent of protecting and appreciating it because it really is gone before you know it.
“Kids way younger than that used to be put to work down the pits”
You are conflating different things here, light stimulation without penetration is not the same as forcing someone down a coal mine all day. As for ‘innocence’, that is also a Victorian hangover.
I’m not conflating anything. My point is that kids should be allowed to remain kids for as long as is reasonable. A 13yr old child cannot consent to sex, should not be encouraged to commence with sexual relations of any kind with another child/adult, in much the same way a 13yr old shouldn’t be encouraged to do much more than a paper round, let alone hard child labour. It’s not me conflating, on the contrary, from you I seem to be getting the impression loud and clear that you’re all for lowering the age of consent and are totally on board with sexualizing kids at a young age. Correct me if I’m wrong. But if this is the case, your comment about those pesky feminists being responsible for the age of consent becoming higher then makes perfect sense! How very dare they demonstrate a conscience when it comes to safeguarding children, consequently interfering with the pleasures of sicko paedophiles, right??🤨
Sounding an awful lot like a nonce-apologist now, Ron. Tread carefully.
“A 13yr old child cannot consent to sex”….That is just your assertion, they consent to all sorts of things including sexual relations.
“that you’re all for lowering the age of consent and are totally on board with sexualizing kids “
I think around puberty is the way of nature, not some post Victorian hang up along with feminist pseudoscience. Also, how can kids be “sexualised” if they are already sexual. As for nonce, that is just a slur that used to be used for homosexuals.
Fixing the so-called age of consent at 16 is a perfectly arbitrary British rule. As perfectly arbitray as setting it at 14 in Germany or Spain or 18 in much of the USA.
I think it’s always a huge red flag when people try to conflate having sex with sexually mature women too young to consent to that according to whatever the local rule for this happens to be and abusing/ raping sexually immature children. In my absolutely not humble opinion, that’s a very unsavoury political strategy and raises the question if the people doing so really understand that paedophilia, ie, a desire to have sex with sexually immature children, is a sexual perversion which causes real harm¹ and not just a convenient hammer they can use to beat up people they don’t particularly like for other reasons.
¹ Example: The Lost Prophets (band) guy who seduced women with small children with the intent to get access to them for sexual abuse.
Everybody’s guilty so nobody is.
“… that will require cool, experienced, nonpartisan leadership…”
That’s exactly what we had which caused the catastrophe we suffered, and what we don’t want again.
We want robust challenge to everything the would-be dictators want to impose. That’s the whole point of an adversarial political system, which is why perpetual coalitions result in detrimental policies because everybody compromises in order to keep their snouts in the trough.
I will never, ever forget what was done to us. Do please tell me why the Jews should forget the Holocaust? Although not on the same level of murder it was the same level of evil.

My sister had an operation yesterday and into late this morning. Almost all of her organs removed because of Cancer. She was in her 5th month of remission in 2020. She took the Death Jab and in 2021 Cancer was back worse than before.
Now, where have all of us read this sort of story before? Oncologists have come on here and told us the truth. My sister is fighting for her life again, she is in an ICU Unit with only very basic organs.
Who the fuck thinks I am going to forget let alone forgive?
Let’s not forget that so many gormless people went along with this charade and are likely to do so again. People like Oster, Bedard, Fauci, Birx et al can never admit their culpability as it would destroy their career and probably personally.
I saw this on TV tonight and had to fight to stop my rant.
A pregnant woman, a kid and two perfectly healthy adults. Not one of them needs this gunk.
An our taxes are paying for this rubbish.
Lies, damn lies and government propaganda.
…are those the swabs for the coof test?
I wasn’t personally very badly affected by the Covid Tyranny. I ignored the nonsense and carried on with life relatively normally as much as was possible, depending on the restrictions the tyrants had imposed at any one time.
I refused to participate in the mass medical experiment.
But I have seen a large number of relatives, friends, acquaintances and neighbours VERY badly affected. And I can see the consequences of the tyranny every time I read the newspaper, leave the house or turn on the TV.
I will never forget what they did and I will never forgive them.
Any politician who voted in favour of the lockdowns will never get my vote.
I will never forget, and I will ensure that my Grandchildren if I have any will know what was done. In one way it did me a favour, it woke me up, I now see that the Pharma industry is nothing more than an organised crime syndicate, whose primary goal is to keep people sick whilst it sucks as much money from them as it can, the Universities, clinicians and politicians are part of the network, they are so used to the filth they don’t even know they are in it.
I am also awake to the thin veneer that is civility and humanity, and that with the smallest prompt most people will gang up and turn on the those that refuse to play along, even if it means destroying that person.
No I won’t forget and this person cannot escape the responsibility and blame for collusion in the inhumanity they gleefully foisted on the world.
Likewise …. I’d always had a healthy scepticism about those in the medical profession and have looked after my own health (partly a reaction to a needle phobia, thanks to some early events in my life).
Now I have absolutely no trust in any of them from the so-called Regulators down to my own GP surgery which is continuing to “invite” people to be jabbed with the unsafe and ineffective gene therapies despite knowing they have patients (including two of my neighbours) who have told their doctor that their “long covid” started after their booster last year.
I don’t believe a word any of them say. They are simply a front for the money-making machine that is Big Pharma.
Anyone who thinks the medical profession wants to cure their illness/condition is incredibly naive.
It is looking as though the pandemic set the new normal. Pharms hasn’t admitted much and governments are heavily invested in new MRNA factories, while the WHO is entrenching
Great article, summed up my feelings exactly. Thank you
