The Sceptic | Episode 15: Labour’s Chilling “Islamophobia” Definition, How the AfD is Shifting Europe to the Right and David Lammy’s Climate Alarmism
Welcome to Episode 15 of the Sceptic! On the show this week, host Laurie Wastell speaks to the following Daily Sceptic contributors:
- Andrew Doyle, comedian, broadcaster and author of Free Speech and Why It Matters and The New Puritans, on how Labour’s plans for an “Islamophobia” definition could bring a blasphemy law to Britain
- Eugyppius, the pseudonymous commentator and author of the Substack, Eugyppius: a plague chronicle, on Germany’s recent state elections and how the rise of the AfD is upending the politics of migration in Europe.
- And for those donating £5 a month or more to the Daily Sceptic, Laurie speaks to journalist and Daily Sceptic regular Ben Pile, on David Lammy’s recent claim that Britain’s biggest foreign policy threat is climate change – and the Foreign Secretary’s bizarre endorsement of ethnic cleansing in Azerbaijan.

Lammy says the way we live our lives will have to fundamentally change. I would like to see him asked how that would look in practice? What about our lives will fundamentally change? Give just a couple of examples. He would do anything but answer that.
Lammy is a good example of why almost all immigration feom Africa and south Asia is a bad thing
Ben Pile – there are over 2 million described species (according to IUCN, 2023). Some of these may have been described more than once, but your idea that there are nowhere near 1 million is just plain wrong. There are over a million insects!
