The Germans are going completely bonkers. Now they’ve made a VR game for Kidz to teach them about the evils of fossil fuels.

Absolutely fine by me. Let’s keep fossil fuels for fossils like me and let the young bleating greens survive without them.

‘Festival of Diversity’? Oh dear. We have our own, similar, festival celebrations this weekend, of course… let’s hope it all passes peacefully.

Johnson, accusing Starmer’s Britain of ‘becoming like 1984’? That’s a bit rich, coming from the man who presided over Covid lockdowns…

“every time we reject new innovations,”
Do I need to say it?
If it’s been done before it ain’t an innovation.

The attack on family, the attack on patriotism, the attack on heterosexuality, the attack on biology, the attack on Christianity, the sexualisation of children, the destruction of culture, the flood of migrants etc, all serve a single purpose. To dilute traditional bonds. The state needs your primary loyalty to be to the state, and to accomplish that the state needs to destroy all allegiances and dependencies that are not coupled to the state. They need to do this in order to gain absolute control and compliance, and this goal they put above all else. In fact, it is the only thing that matters to them; not theft, not murder, not rape, not child grooming, not child mutilation. Nothing matters to the state apart from flags. Your flag may be the flag of St George or the flag of family, they both pose the same threat to the state. Once this is understood, everything that seems batshit crazy make perfect sense.

“The backlash against self-service checkouts is a case study in why Britain is determined to be poor”

Sorry lord Frost, I agree with many of your common sense statments but, not this one.
A lot of elderly and lonely people (of which there is many and growing) may only get to talk to others when they go shopping and check out workers act as a form of social service workers in this case, having a natter to human beings is crucial and nessasary!
I’m guessing none of that would bother you?
No doubt your shopping is delivered?
Try to not take out the human aspect of it just to promote progress!

BBC jab injury story, broadcast on “Points West” 23/8/2024: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2g921rd2lo . Somewhat biased about risk assessments, a cynic might observe – after all, why would someone like that be using a novel drug as early as that at all?

My first visit to the DS site at 11:35, I had expected to see more reaction to the RFK Jr news from yesterday. For me, RFK’s suspension of his campaign and joining allegiance with Trump is huge and positive news. For those who haven’t watched his speech / press conference and his subsequent attendance at a Trump rally, I would strongly recommend them – I, for one, was emotionally moved by it all. I have attached a couple of Twitter/X links below.

I regret that Trump has teamed up with former drug dealer and serial adulterer Junior, but, as LBJ said, it’s better to have him inside the tent pissing out than the other way around.

What an appalling story.

The judge has no place in our Judicial system. How on earth does he sleep at night? A young man has had his life ruined by the vindictiveness of a so-called judge. The guy is a disgrace to this country.

Justice takes a back seat when exemplary punishment is the order of the day. Gotta keep the plebs in their rightful place.

He has been bribed, blackmailed (compromised) or physically threatened. That’s how these things work now.

Somebody in government needs to tell the UN to sling their hook.
