Far-Left Group Claims Responsibility for Paris Arson Attacks

A far-Left group has claimed responsibility for a series of arson attacks in Paris that crippled the rail network ahead of the opening ceremony of the Olympics. The Mail has more.

Just hours before the grand procession on the River Seine on Friday night, fires were started at key facilities, bringing trains to a halt and affecting around 800,000 passengers – including athletes and spectators heading to the Games.

Preliminary evidence in the investigation show that strategic points of the network were targeted, indicating that the perpetrators had a detailed knowledge of the network, according to investigators.

France’s intelligence services and police have been scrambling to determine the perpetrators of the sabotage.

But on Saturday, several French and international media outlets received a mystery email by a far-Left collective calling itself “an unknown delegation”, which claimed responsibility for the attacks, according to Le Parisien.

The anonymous activists said in the email: “They call it a party? We see it as a celebration of nationalism, a gigantic staging of the subjugation of populations by states.”

While the email included the domain name Rise Up, which is often used by radical environmental or anarchist groups, it is unclear who exactly is behind they email and whether they were actually responsible for the arson attacks.

The methods used to launch the massive “coordinated arson attack” on rail installations across the country resemble those used by such radical groups in the past, a security source claimed on Friday. …

Pictures show chaos at railway stations across Paris, as well as travellers hoping to head to the French capital from London being stranded at St. Pancras.

The Gare du Nord – the main Eurostar station in Paris – was hit by attacks on its rail network overnight from Thursday to Friday, according to a spokesman for SNCF, France’s rail operator.

This caused the cancellation of multiple services, including ones meant to be bringing sports fans from London into the French capital.

Ah but they were probably paid to do it by the Russians, or the Russians paid them to admit responsibility for it. The Times said there was strong evidence it was the Russians, and I am sure they would not lie or spread rumours.

Thanks for that important information, which will stop our world leaders from launching WW3 for the moment, at least.

I still don’t understand how the saboteurs obtained all the necessary skills and information about exactly what to attack, how to attack it most effectively, and where to cause the maximum disruption. Even French railway engineers were wondering about this.

It’s as if Greens & Leftists are engaged in guerrilla warfare against their own country…

It wasn’t necessarily French lefties.

Also, what vetting is there for SNCF rail workers?

Are you now or have you ever been a member of a leftie group?

No? OK, these are the areas we’re most worried about keeping safe.

It’s what Greens & Leftists who didn’t find a more profitable occupation in professional politics yet usually do. When they aren’t busy demonstrating against the far right, ie, anyone in favor of more moderate political methods and goals than troika of Lenin, Trotzky and Stalin, that is. Olaf Scholz (SPD, German chancellor) was very happy about people with signs reading Against nations, states and capitalism! showing up when he called for “demonstrations against the far right in the name of democracy”.

Which particular totalitarian, terroristic and anti-democratic grouping was behind these attacks –

Marxist far left, nationalist and racist far right, the neo-Nazi Russian Federation / People’s Republic of China, militant religious (eg Islamist) etc – is entirely irrelevant.

As they are all essentially on the same ideological and practical side.

Yet it is always the “far right” that is the threat.

And Governments and media once again played the propaganda card to encourage us to war by claiming it was the Russians and the Iranians. They must be so disappointed, no doubt the next claim will be that the far left is financed by those two states.
